eternity_n the_o absurdity_n whereof_o i_o need_v not_o confute_v till_o i_o meet_v with_o one_o who_o be_v so_o void_a of_o understanding_n as_o to_o own_v it_o if_o therefore_o you_o can_v allow_v a_o think_a thing_n to_o be_v make_v out_o of_o nothing_o as_o all_o thing_n that_o be_v not_o eternal_a must_v be_v why_o also_o can_v you_o not_o allow_v it_o possible_a for_o a_o material_a be_v to_o be_v make_v out_o of_o nothing_o by_o a_o equal_a power_n but_o that_o you_o have_v the_o experience_n of_o the_o one_o in_o view_n and_o not_o of_o the_o other_o though_o when_o well_o consider_v creation_n of_o one_o as_o well_o as_o tother_o require_v a_o equal_a power_n and_o we_o have_v no_o more_o reason_n to_o boggle_v at_o the_o effect_n of_o that_o power_n in_o one_o than_o in_o the_o other_o because_o the_o manner_n of_o it_o in_o both_o be_v equal_o beyond_o our_o comprehension_n for_o the_o creation_n or_o beginning_n of_o any_o one_o thing_n out_o of_o nothing_o be_v once_o admit_v the_o creation_n of_o every_o thing_n else_o but_o the_o creator_n himself_o may_v with_o the_o same_o ease_n be_v suppose_v §_o 19_o but_o you_o will_v say_v be_v it_o not_o impossible_a to_o admit_v of_o the_o make_v any_o thing_n out_o of_o nothing_o since_o we_o can_v possible_o conceive_v it_o i_o answer_v no_o 1._o because_o it_o be_v not_o reasonable_a to_o deny_v the_o power_n of_o a_o infinite_a be_v because_o we_o can_v comprehend_v its_o operation_n we_o do_v not_o deny_v other_o effect_n upon_o this_o ground_n because_o we_o can_v possible_o conceive_v their_o production_n we_o can_v conceive_v how_o thought_n or_o any_o thing_n but_o motion_n in_o body_n can_v move_v body_n and_o yet_o that_o be_v not_o a_o reason_n sufficient_a to_o make_v we_o deny_v it_o possible_a against_o the_o constant_a experience_n we_o have_v of_o it_o in_o ourselves_o in_o all_o our_o voluntary_a motion_n which_o be_v produce_v in_o we_o only_o by_o the_o free_a thought_n of_o our_o own_o mind_n and_o be_v not_o nor_o can_v be_v the_o effect_n of_o the_o impulse_n or_o determination_n of_o the_o motion_n of_o blind_a matter_n in_o or_o upon_o our_o body_n for_o than_o it_o can_v not_o be_v in_o our_o power_n or_o choice_n to_o alter_v it_o for_o example_n my_o right_a hand_n write_v whilst_o my_o left_a hand_n be_v still_o what_o cause_n rest_v in_o one_o and_o motion_n in_o the_o other_o nothing_o but_o my_o will_n a_o thought_n of_o my_o mind_n my_o thought_n only_o change_v the_o right_a hand_n rest_v and_o the_o left_a hand_n move_v this_o operation_n of_o that_o eternal_a infinite_a mind_n who_o make_v and_o govern_v all_o thing_n and_o who_o the_o heaven_n of_o heaven_n can_v contain_v chap._n xi_o of_o our_o knowledge_n of_o the_o
