christ_n the_o righteous_a who_o have_v obtain_v pardon_n for_o all_o thy_o sin_n and_o have_v ransome_v thou_o out_o of_o the_o hand_n of_o satan_n a_o most_o especial_a benefit_n grievous_a in_o respect_n whereof_o all_o the_o plague_n all_o the_o trouble_n calamity_n and_o affliction_n in_o this_o life_n can_v light_v upon_o thou_o be_v not_o to_o be_v account_v grievous_a but_o willing_o to_o be_v embrace_v and_o patient_o to_o be_v accept_v as_o a_o fatherly_a call_n of_o thou_o from_o thyself_o unto_o i_o for_o better_a it_o be_v for_o thou_o to_o be_v afflict_v here_o in_o this_o suffer_v the_o wicked_a and_o careless_a the_o secure_a and_o dissolute_a liver_n wicked_a to_o run_v on_o still_o in_o their_o wicked_a way_n whâ—me_v of_o justice_n he_o shall_v reward_v with_o security_n to_o place_v their_o whole_a trust_n in_o he_o that_o be_v able_a to_o save_v they_o and_o to_o cast_v they_o away_o who_o be_v able_a to_o relieve_v they_o and_o to_o undo_v they_o able_a to_o bring_v they_o to_o the_o deep_a of_o the_o grave_n and_o to_o bring_v they_o up_o again_o who_o be_v able_a to_o pluck_v down_o and_o exalt_v able_a to_o kill_v and_o to_o make_v alive_a again_o the_o lose_a son_n as_o long_o as_o he_o be_v in_o his_o jollity_n son_n as_o long_o as_o he_o have_v his_o prosperity_n of_o wealth_n at_o his_o will_n his_o health_n of_o body_n and_o thing_n at_o his_o own_o desire_n want_v nothing_o that_o please_v his_o fantasy_n so_o long_o run_v he_o astray_o follow_v wantonness_n embrace_v wickedness_n and_o employ_v himself_o to_o filthiness_n and_o sin_n even_o with_o greediness_n but_o when_o he_o be_v touch_v with_o poverty_n when_o his_o wont_a friend_n forsake_v he_o and_o have_v no_o mean_a to_o relieve_v himself_o than_o begin_v he_o to_o 〈◊〉_d his_o fantasy_n after_o a_o other_o fashion_n thou_o he_o make_v of_o necessity_n a_o virtue_n he_o bridle_v his_o affection_n he_o tame_v his_o evil_a desire_n and_o in_o all_o humility_n in_o true_a sorrow_n for_o his_o disobedience_n he_o return_v again_o unto_o his_o father_n and_o in_o great_a bitterness_n of_o heart_n as_o one_o that_o unfeigned_o repent_v he_o cry_v out_o and_o say_v oh_o father_n i_o have_v sin_v i_o have_v sin_v against_o heaven_n and_o against_o thou_o i_o be_o no_o more_o worthy_a to_o be_v call_v thy_o son_n accept_v i_o as_o one_o of_o thy_o hire_a servant_n who_o submission_n obtain_v pardon_v david_n when_o he_o be_v in_o his_o prosperity_n god_n commit_v evil_a in_o the_o sight_n of_o my_o heavenly_a father_n but_o when_o he_o be_v afflict_v by_o the_o fray_v thou_o the_o world_n deceive_v thou_o nor_o thy_o flesh_n annoy_v thou_o the_o sinful_a man_n good_a solace_n then_o proceed_v in_o haste_n true_a comfort_n now_o appear_v this_o comfort_n do_v abandon_v woe_n and_o wipe_v off_o all_o my_o tear_n solace_n in_o deed_n so_o it_o will_v if_o thou_o attentive_o hear_v it_o faithful_o believe_v it_o and_o true_o follow_v it_o but_o thou_o have_v abundance_n god_n esteem_v thy_o gold_n as_o thy_o god_n to_o serve_v my_o heavenly_a father_n thy_o live_a god_n and_o love_a creator_n to_o follow_v that_o which_o be_v god_n and_o to_o eschew_v and_o avoid_v that_o which_o be_v evil_a only_o to_o work_v the_o will_n of_o my_o heavenlye_a father_n which_o be_v set_v down_o and_o declare_v in_o the_o two_o table_n contain_v ten_o precept_n wherein_o as_o in_o a_o glass_n thou_o may_v behold_v what_o thou_o ought_v to_o do_v and_o what_o to_o leave_v
my_o desert_n and_o mere_a merit_n the_o sinful_a man_n this_o sweet_a conclusion_n comfort_v i_o who_o can_v not_o but_o confess_v that_o these_o thy_o law_n like_o wicked_a wretch_n i_o daily_o do_v transgress_v but_o since_o thou_o free_o do_v obtain_v the_o love_n of_o god_n for_o i_o vouchsafe_v i_o grace_n to_o mortify_v my_o sin_n to_o come_v to_o thou_o and_o since_o the_o night_n draw_v on_o so_o fast_o pass_v to_o the_o rest_n in_o haste_n i_o will_v attend_v unto_o the_o end_n forgive_v offence_n paste_v solace_n then_o remember_v thou_o that_o these_o four_o commandment_n which_o the_o corruption_n of_o thy_o heart_n condemn_v thy_o own_o way_n &_o work_n and_o to_o endeavour_n thyself_o to_o subdue_v the_o same_o for_o that_o it_o be_v the_o free_a mercy_n and_o goodness_n of_o my_o heavenly_a father_n through_o the_o merit_n of_o i_o his_o son_n that_o sanctifi_v and_o justifi_v thou_o and_o not_o thy_o own_o work_n in_o which_o four_o former_a commandment_n be_v direct_o set_v down_o the_o sum_n of_o thy_o duty_n appertain_v to_o god_n my_o heavenly_a father_n acceptable_a who_o to_o the_o end_n that_o thou_o shall_v witness_v thy_o obedience_n unto_o himself_o outward_o he_o have_v prescribe_v unto_o thou_o those_o duty_n which_o thou_o ought_v to_o perform_v towards_o other_o man_n for_o that_o service_n &_o worship_n of_o god_n be_v not_o that_o unfeigned_a love_n of_o god_n which_o proceed_v of_o a_o true_a faith_n and_o sincere_a service_n of_o he_o 3.15_o for_o he_o that_o love_v my_o heavenly_a father_n &_o keep_v his_o commandment_n show_v a_o sufficient_a witness_n that_o he_o love_v the_o child_n of_o god_n and_o as_o john_n say_v we_o know_v that_o we_o be_v translate_v from_o death_n to_o life_n because_o we_o love_v the_o brethren_n so_o y_o t_o it_o appear_v to_o be_v a_o sufficient_a testimony_n of_o a_o bless_a estate_n when_o thou_o for_o his_o sake_n do_v true_o perform_v those_o duty_n which_o he_o have_v command_v thou_o unto_o man_n 7.10_o the_o first_o whereof_o be_v to_o honour_v thy_o father_n and_o thy_o mother_n for_o who_o so_o curse_v father_n or_o mother_n let_v he_o die_v the_o death_n but_o he_o that_o true_o obei_v they_o and_o behave_v himself_o reverent_o aswell_o inward_o hearty_o endeavour_v himself_o to_o aid_v they_o to_o help_v they_o and_o submit_v his_o will_n unto_o their_o will_n in_o thing_n honest_a as_o in_o outward_a reverence_n nurture_n and_o seemly_a behaviour_n such_o a_o one_o i_o say_v have_v a_o blessing_n promise_v namely_o to_o have_v his_o day_n prolong_v upon_o the_o earth_n and_o to_o be_v fill_v with_o all_o good_a thing_n and_o on_o the_o contrary_a the_o stubborn_a stifenecked_n and_o graceless_a child_n punish_v shall_v be_v root_v out_o and_o take_v away_o by_o untimely_a death_n from_o the_o land_n which_o my_o heavenly_a father_n have_v give_v they_o in_o which_o comaundement_n thou_o must_v understand_v thyself_o not_o only_o to_o be_v enjoin_v to_o use_v reverence_n and_o to_o give_v honour_n unto_o thy_o parent_n namely_o to_o those_o that_o be_v the_o minister_n of_o the_o bring_v thou_o into_o this_o life_n but_o unto_o all_o magistrate_n superior_n and_o minister_n who_o he_o have_v ordain_v as_o instrument_n â—_o by_o who_o to_o conveye_v such_o grace_n and_o benefit_n upon_o thou_o reverence_v they_o daily_a seek_v to_o rush_v in_o and_o to_o overthrow_v the_o estate_n of_o the_o good_a by_o they_o be_v the_o tyrannouse_a and_o bloody_a sword_n of_o the_o wicked_a keep_v and_o hold_v back_o from_o the_o throat_n of_o the_o godly_a 13.4_o by_o they_o be_v the_o righteous_a defend_v and_o the_o ungodly_a punish_v and_o therefore_o must_v thou_o accept_v they_o as_o the_o minister_n of_o god_n for_o thy_o wealth_n and_o to_o become_v subject_a unto_o they_o not_o only_o for_o fear_n of_o punishment_n but_o for_o conscience_n sake_n in_o respect_n of_o the_o benefit_n thou_o receive_v by_o their_o authority_n the_o elder_n say_v my_o apostle_n be_v worthy_a of_o double_a honour_n especial_o they_o which_o labour_n in_o the_o word_n and_o doctrine_n whereby_o it_o appear_v honour_n
