and_o avenge_v himself_o upon_o all_o that_o stubborn_o rebel_v against_o he_o and_o forsake_v the_o way_n of_o his_o commandment_n to_o walk_v after_o their_o own_o crooked_a device_n and_o invention_n 2._o second_o threat_n of_o god_n terrible_a threat_n we_o must_v often_o call_v to_o mind_v the_o most_o terrible_a threaten_n of_o god_n against_o sin_n in_o general_a and_o special_o ourselves_o of_o its_o vileness_n and_o mischievousnesse_n for_o god_n have_v from_o heaven_n manifest_v so_o much_o wrath_n against_o the_o worker_n of_o iniquity_n in_o general_n and_o against_o each_o particular_a lust_n and_o sin_n that_o man_n live_v in_o that_o if_o we_o can_v press_v these_o thing_n upon_o our_o own_o soul_n and_o cause_v our_o heart_n steadfast_o to_o believe_v the_o same_o we_o can_v not_o but_o hate_v wickedness_n and_o tremble_v before_o the_o lord_n and_o so_o abate_v the_o power_n of_o corruption_n and_o even_o drive_v ourselves_o out_o of_o the_o evil_a promise_n that_o god_n have_v make_v to_o those_o that_o leave_v sin_n and_o the_o admirable_a comfort_n that_o both_o here_o and_o hereafter_o the_o god_n of_o truth_n have_v undertake_v to_o reward_v they_o withal_o that_o for_o his_o sake_n deny_v themselves_o and_o crucify_v their_o sinful_a lust_n then_o shall_v we_o see_v how_o vain_a and_o frivolous_a the_o pleasure_n and_o profit_n of_o sin_n be_v and_o by_o taste_v the_o fruit_n of_o holiness_n shall_v be_v well_o enable_v to_o despise_v the_o offer_n of_o sin_n what_o comparison_n betwixt_o the_o good_a we_o get_v by_o do_v evil_a and_o the_o unspeakable_a joy_n of_o the_o holy_a ghost_n and_o the_o immortal_a joy_n of_o heaven_n what_o make_v moses_n to_o set_v light_n by_o the_o honour_n and_o delight_n of_o pharaoh_n court_n but_o that_o he_o consider_v the_o rebuke_n of_o christ_n to_o be_v great_a riches_n what_o make_v paul_n to_o count_v all_o dung_n that_o he_o may_v win_v christ_n but_o because_o he_o look_v
