heaven_n and_o that_o there_o be_v a_o most_o terrible_a day_n abide_v and_o if_o a_o man_n believe_v that_o there_o be_v a_o tribunal_n in_o heaven_n a_o terrible_a judge_n sit_v there_o to_o take_v account_n of_o his_o do_n in_o earth_n for_o all_o the_o world_n he_o will_v not_o offend_v that_o god_n but_o this_o can_v sink_v in_o the_o heart_n of_o man_n he_o will_v say_v there_o be_v a_o general_a judgement_n but_o this_o be_v from_o the_o mouth_n only_o and_o not_o from_o the_o heart_n and_o sure_o as_o long_o as_o a_o man_n continue_v in_o sin_n albeit_o he_o shall_v swear_v that_o there_o be_v a_o tribunal_n it_o be_v a_o token_n he_o know_v it_o not_o the_o word_n of_o judgement_n avail_v nothing_o it_o be_v the_o believe_a and_o sure_a knowledge_n that_o there_o be_v a_o judgement_n and_o a_o terrible_a judge_n to_o sinner_n in_o heaven_n that_o do_v the_o turn_n therefore_o seek_v persuasion_n and_o look_v to_o that_o article_n of_o thy_o creed_n that_o the_o judge_n tooth_n at_o the_o day_n of_o judgement_n yet_o i_o see_v in_o these_o word_n a_o sharpness_n and_o rebuke_v mix_v with_o lenity_n to_o let_v we_o see_v that_o when_o we_o have_v to_o do_v with_o wicked_a man_n lenity_n and_o meekness_n shall_v not_o be_v corrupt_v but_o temper_v with_o sharpness_n that_o ungrateful_a man_n may_v be_v bring_v to_o a_o sense_n and_o feel_n of_o sin_n and_o precious_a a_o subject_n as_o the_o call_n of_o the_o ministry_n yea_o the_o most_o solid_a thing_n in_o the_o world_n be_v under_o it_o even_o that_o which_o make_v man_n and_o woman_n solid_a and_o without_o it_o no_o solidity_n but_o all_o be_v aâ—_n chafâ—e_v before_o the_o wind_n the_o apostle_n 2._o cor._n 4._o 7_o compare_v jesus_n christ_n and_o his_o grace_n which_o be_v reveal_v in_o service_n indeed_o i_o marvel_v not_o howbeit_o i_o see_v the_o contempt_n of_o this_o ministry_n and_o sure_o there_o be_v nothing_o more_o vild_a in_o the_o ear_n of_o man_n of_o scotland_n than_o to_o hear_v the_o name_n of_o a_o minister_n but_o i_o wonder_v rather_o that_o ever_o man_n or_o woman_n shall_v be_v alter_v by_o this_o ministry_n the_o one_o be_v of_o nature_n the_o other_o be_v of_o grace_n wonder_n never_o at_o nature_n but_o wonder_v to_o see_v a_o man_n or_o woman_n alter_v by_o grace_n alas_o this_o be_v to_o be_v pity_v man_n lose_v their_o part_n of_o these_o unsearchable_a riches_n in_o jesus_n christ_n because_o they_o stumble_v at_o the_o baâ—enesse_n of_o this_o ministry_n for_o he_o that_o esteem_v not_o of_o this_o ministry_n never_o taste_v of_o the_o sweetness_n of_o jesus_n christ_n he_o that_o esteem_v not_o of_o the_o lame_a vessel_n have_v no_o part_n of_o the_o riches_n which_o be_v in_o the_o lame_a vessel_n in_o the_o word_n follow_v his_o absence_n though_o not_o by_o his_o word_n in_o speak_v yet_o by_o his_o writing_n there_o be_v none_o so_o senseless_a in_o the_o world_n none_o so_o dead_a none_o so_o hard_o heart_v against_o the_o power_n of_o this_o ministry_n but_o either_o by_o word_n or_o writing_n either_o by_o absence_n or_o else_o by_o presence_n they_o shall_v be_v compel_v to_o feel_v the_o force_n of_o iâ—_n yea_o this_o ministry_n shall_v either_o be_v the_o savour_n of_o life_n to_o life_n or_o else_o the_o savour_n of_o death_n to_o death_n unto_o they_o and_o this_o i_o require_v you_o that_o i_o paul_n will_v be_v count_v by_o these_o corinthian_n to_o be_v the_o apostle_n of_o jesus_n christ_n be_v he_o therefore_o seek_v his_o own_o honour_n and_o glory_n no_o he_o be_v seek_v the_o weal_n
