this_o expostulation_n you_o that_o profess_v you_o love_v the_o lord_n as_o who_o will_v not_o be_v ready_a to_o do_v that_o to_o say_v he_o love_v christ_n but_o yet_o as_o the_o apostle_n john_n speak_v of_o love_n to_o the_o brethren_n that_o man_n love_v they_o in_o show_n and_o not_o in_o truth_n so_o it_o be_v with_o most_o man_n they_o love_v the_o lord_n in_o word_n and_o in_o profession_n but_o they_o love_v he_o not_o in_o deed_n and_o in_o truth_n therefore_o first_o let_v i_o ask_v you_o this_o you_o that_o profess_v you_o love_v the_o lord_n trial_n do_v you_o not_o grieve_v he_o and_o vex_v he_o from_o day_n to_o day_n and_o provoke_v he_o by_o your_o word_n and_o by_o your_o work_n if_o this_o be_v your_o case_n it_o be_v certain_a you_o love_v he_o not_o therefore_o you_o shall_v see_v in_o the_o course_n of_o the_o scripture_n love_n proceed_v from_o faith_n faith_n must_v beget_v love_n that_o be_v the_o assurance_n of_o god_n love_n must_v go_v of_o the_o promise_n and_o all_o be_v well_o with_o he_o he_o have_v drink_v in_o the_o truth_n of_o the_o gospel_n with_o his_o education_n humiliation_n you_o shall_v find_v that_o this_o will_v not_o usual_o hold_v out_o because_o he_o have_v not_o find_v what_o misery_n it_o be_v to_o be_v out_o of_o his_o father_n house_n therefore_o he_o prize_v it_o not_o such_o a_o one_o be_v not_o fit_a to_o continue_v he_o be_v unfit_a for_o the_o kingdom_n of_o god._n therefore_o the_o first_o thing_n that_o be_v require_v to_o make_v faith_n effectual_a wherein_o the_o effectualness_n of_o that_o they_o be_v the_o sure_a word_n of_o god_n when_o a_o man_n can_v say_v this_o i_o know_v particular_a and_o this_o i_o build_v upon_o and_o beside_o that_o than_o we_o look_v upon_o the_o the_o spirit_n in_o they_o when_o we_o shall_v so_o see_v they_o as_o to_o be_v affect_v with_o they_o otherwise_o you_o may_v read_v the_o scripture_n a_o thousand_o time_n over_o you_o may_v understand_v they_o yet_o you_o shall_v not_o be_v affect_v with_o they_o till_o the_o holy_a ghost_n show_v they_o unto_o you_o this_o be_v the_o secret_a of_o god_n that_o he_o reveal_v to_o those_o
