divine_n do_v think_v that_o the_o circumstance_n of_o the_o text_n matth._n 18._o 17._o do_v plain_o demonstrate_v that_o christ_n do_v now_o first_o ordain_v excommunication_n as_o a_o new_a ordinance_n for_o the_o use_n of_o all_o christian_a church_n to_o the_o world_n end_n and_o that_o christ_n exhort_v his_o apostle_n to_o put_v this_o new_a ordinance_n in_o practice_n assoon_o as_o they_o shall_v plant_v any_o new_a particular_a christian_a church_n teacher_n i_o desire_v that_o the_o circumstance_n of_o this_o text_n may_v be_v allege_v and_o weigh_v whether_o any_o of_o they_o do_v prove_v the_o ordination_n of_o excommunication_n at_o this_o time_n or_o no._n scholar_n the_o first_o considerable_a circumstance_n be_v this_o if_o he_o will_v not_o hear_v the_o church_n let_v he_o be_v to_o thou_o as_o a_o heathen_a and_o publican_n hence_o i_o gather_v that_o none_o can_v account_v his_o brother_n of_o the_o same_o profession_n as_o a_o heathen_a or_o publican_n until_o the_o church_n have_v excommunicate_v he_o teacher_n your_o collection_n be_v not_o sound_a for_o first_o if_o this_o sentence_n have_v employ_v his_o excommunication_n by_o the_o church_n can_v conclude_v that_o matthew_n do_v mean_a that_o the_o impenitent_a brother_n be_v first_o excommunicate_v by_o the_o church_n because_o christ_n bid_v the_o innocent_a party_n to_o esteem_v he_o as_o a_o heathen_a and_o publican_n scholar_n there_o be_v another_o circumstance_n in_o verse_n 18._o which_o do_v imply_v excommunication_n as_o all_o interpreter_n say_v the_o word_n of_o the_o text_n thus_o speak_v whatsoever_o you_o shall_v bind_v on_o earth_n shall_v be_v bind_v in_o heaven_n etc._n etc._n hence_o interpreter_n conclude_v that_o the_o church_n by_o the_o power_n of_o excommunication_n do_v bound_v sinner_n in_o their_o sin_n on_o earth_n and_o when_o they_o repent_v than_o they_o lose_v they_o from_o their_o sin_n on_o earth_n by_o discharge_v they_o from_o the_o sentence_n of_o excommunication_n and_o that_o christ_n do_v ratify_v all_o their_o do_n in_o heaven_n teacher_n i_o do_v not_o look_v upon_o this_o 18._o verse_n in_o the_o same_o sense_n that_o
