be_v manifest_a by_o that_o which_o he_o say_v to_o the_o disciple_n of_o saint_n john_n to_o wit_n the_o blind_a see_v the_o lame_a walk_n the_o leper_n be_v make_v clean_o the_o dease_fw-mi hear_v the_o dead_a rise_n again_o &c._n &c._n he_o make_v himself_o also_o the_o medicine_n and_o give_v himself_o unto_o thou_o to_o be_v eat_v there_o by_o perfect_o to_o cure_v thou_o of_o all_o thy_o infirmity_n gather_v hence_o a_o earnest_a desire_n to_o have_v frequent_a access_n unto_o this_o heavenly_a physician_n and_o beseach_v he_o that_o although_o it_o be_v with_o the_o cost_n of_o thy_o affection_n honour_n life_n and_o contentment_n to_o heal_v and_o cure_v theet_n since_o thou_o preceive_v thyself_o to_o be_v full_a of_o infirmity_n of_o sin_n and_o inordinate_a passion_n in_o regard_n that_o there_o be_v not_o any_o medicine_n able_a to_o cure_v thou_o but_o only_o this_o sovereign_a antidote_n the_o 3._o point_n to_o consider_v the_o worth_n and_o price_n of_o this_o medicine_n since_o it_o cost_v this_o celestial_a physician_n so_o many_o labour_n and_o pain_n yea_o even_o his_o life_n to_o leave_v it_o thou_o so_o prepare_v temper_a and_o season_v that_o thou_o may_v take_v it_o with_o gust_n savour_n &_o profit_n in_o this_o divine_a sacrament_n ponder_n that_o the_o physician_n of_o this_o world_n most_o common_o command_v some_o chicken_n or_o ●oule_n to_o be_v kill_v dressed_z &_o give_v to_o the_o sick_a to_o ●ate_z but_o this_o physician_n of_o heaven_n be_v not_o content_a to_o ordain_v &_o command_v alone_o but_o will_v also_o as_o his_o prophet_n say_v become_v sick_a to_o cure_v thou_o be_v wound_v to_o heal_v thy_o sore_n &_o die_v upon_o the_o cross_n that_o thou_o may_v live_v eternal_o in_o heaven_n from_o hence_o thou_o may_v consume_v the_o humidity_n of_o vice_n &_o to_o raise_v the_o soul_n to_o heavenly_a desire_n make_v she_o despise_v those_o that_o be_v terrestrial_a ponder_n that_o the_o virtue_n &_o quality_n of_o this_o celestial_a fire_n be_v not_o only_o to_o inflame_v the_o heart_n but_o to_o give_v light_a also_o and_o open_v the_o eye_n of_o he_o who_o receive_v he_o worthy_o as_o he_o do_v to_o those_o two_o discipl_n that_o wet_a to_o emaus_n for_o sit_v at_o the_o table_n in_o break_v the_o bread_n which_o he_o give_v they_o which_o as_o some_o holy_a father_n say_v be_v his_o holy_a body_n their_o eye_n be_v open_v and_o they_o know_v their_o god_n and_o lord_n and_o inflame_v &_o burn_a with_o this_o divine_a fire_n which_o they_o have_v in_o their_o breast_n they_o return_v from_o emaus_n far_o different_a &_o change_v from_o that_o they_o be_v when_o they_o come_v thither_o that_o be_v of_o doubtful_a they_o become_v faithful_a of_o timorous_a courageous_a of_o ignorant_a learned_a &_o well_o instruct_v gather_v hence_o desire_v to_o come_v from_o the_o sacred_a communion_n con●erted_v and_o transform_v into_o another_o man_n i_o mean_v from_o proud_a to_o humble_v from_o incontinent_a to_o chast_n from_o engry_a to_o patient_a and_o from_o wicked_a and_o sinful_a to_o just_a and_o holy_a beseech_v this_o lord_n see_v he_o be_v a_o consume_a fire_n to_o purify_v all_o thy_o imperfection_n and_o to_o open_v and_o illuminate_v thy_o eye_n that_o come_v often_o unto_o he_o thou_o may_v know_v he_o and_o know_v thyself_o for_o herein_o consist_v thy_o eternal_a
