of_o god_n god_n from_o who_o as_o also_o from_o the_o father_n proceed_v the_o holy_a ghost_n and_o therefore_o as_o a_o true_a and_o only_a saviour_n baptize_v we_o with_o his_o holy_a spirit_n add_v this_o also_o that_o by_o the_o new_a interpretation_n there_o be_v admit_v in_o a_o little_a narration_n no_o small_a battologie_n or_o superfluity_n of_o word_n for_o when_o paul_n say_v john_n very_o baptize_v with_o the_o baptism_n of_o repentance_n say_v unto_o the_o people_n that_o they_o shall_v believe_v in_o he_o which_o shall_v come_v after_o he_o that_o be_v in_o christ_n thing_n also_o since_o the_o very_a sacrament_n hinder_v not_o but_o they_o may_v also_o be_v partaker_n of_o the_o true_a sanctification_n although_o all_o of_o they_o do_v not_o indeed_o obtain_v the_o same_o by_o reason_n of_o their_o hypocritical_a faith_n they_o doubtless_o i_o see_v not_o but_o such_o a_o manner_n of_o speak_v may_v be_v well_o allow_v so_o it_o be_v declare_v as_o it_o believe_v also_o and_o free_o confess_v that_o these_o visible_a sign_n by_o god_n institution_n be_v add_v and_o ought_v to_o be_v add_v to_o the_o word_n for_o a_o more_o full_a and_o firm_a confirmation_n of_o the_o word_n in_o our_o mind_n since_o it_o be_v even_o unto_o such_o a_o end_n that_o every_o where_o among_o all_o nation_n they_o use_v to_o put_v their_o seal_n to_o writing_n and_o to_o testament_n which_o be_v also_o the_o cause_n why_o augustine_n call_v the_o outward_a sign_n &_o the_o thing_n object_n to_o our_o sense_n visible_a word_n because_o indeed_o they_o be_v institute_v to_o this_o end_n and_o add_v to_o the_o word_n that_o they_o may_v do_v that_o which_o the_o word_n do_v that_o be_v that_o the_o same_o which_o the_o word_n signify_v to_o our_o ear_n the_o sign_n may_v represent_v to_o our_o eye_n &_o other_o sense_n and_o so_o may_v confirm_v the_o word_n and_o promise_n of_o god_n and_o as_o by_o the_o word_n faith_n be_v stir_v up_o in_o our_o mind_n so_o also_o by_o the_o outward_a sign_n as_o it_o be_v seal_v with_o seal_n it_o may_v be_v more_o thorough_o confirm_v and_o increase_v and_o last_o that_o as_o the_o word_n so_o also_o the_o holy_a sign_n be_v instrument_n of_o the_o holy_a ghost_n by_o which_o we_o be_v bring_v unto_o that_o communion_n with_o christ_n and_o do_v conjoin_v therein_o and_o we_o have_v no_o doubt_n but_o all_o this_o be_v institute_v of_o god_n for_o our_o infirmity_n and_o ignorance_n and_o for_o the_o weakness_n of_o our_o faith_n that_o the_o same_o may_v be_v help_v not_o only_o by_o the_o word_n
