that_o when_o god_n intend_v any_o special_a mercy_n to_o the_o child_n of_o abraham_n he_o do_v first_o put_v the_o sentence_n of_o death_n upon_o it_o and_o upon_o all_o the_o mean_n that_o do_v lead_v unto_o it_o then_o sure_o i_o be_o none_o of_o the_o child_n of_o abraham_n i_o never_o have_v any_o skpeciall_a mercy_n yet_o give_v unto_o i_o i_o do_v not_o find_v that_o it_o have_v be_v so_o with_o i_o no_o what_o then_o because_o your_o experience_n do_v speak_v it_o answ_n be_v it_o not_o therefore_o true_a some_o will_v have_v the_o sun_n set_v by_o their_o watch_n and_o not_o their_o watch_n set_v by_o the_o sun_n some_o measure_n the_o truth_n of_o all_o the_o doctrine_n that_o they_o hear_v by_o their_o own_o experience_n and_o if_o their_o own_o experience_n speak_v they_o true_a than_o they_o be_v true_a otherwise_o not_o but_o i_o say_v what_o then_o it_o may_v be_v thou_o be_v a_o man_n or_o woman_n that_o the_o lord_n never_o give_v out_o a_o promise_n to_o thou_o not_o a_o promise_n to_o thy_o soul_n some_o there_o be_v in_o prayer_n that_o by_o the_o strength_n of_o their_o memory_n can_v reach_v in_o a_o promise_n and_o when_o art_n and_o memory_n reach_v in_o a_o promise_n into_o prayer_n the_o sentence_n of_o death_n do_v not_o then_o pass_v indeed_o but_o when_o the_o lord_n give_v out_o a_o promise_n to_o the_o soul_n than_o the_o sentence_n of_o death_n pass_v upon_o the_o business_n upon_o the_o mercy_n and_o upon_o the_o mean_n that_o do_v lead_v unto_o it_o i_o appeal_v unto_o all_o the_o saint_n here_o whether_o ever_o have_v you_o any_o great_a mercy_n in_o all_o your_o life_n but_o first_o of_o all_o there_o be_v a_o sentence_n of_o death_n pass_v upon_o it_o and_o upon_o all_o the_o mean_n that_o do_v lead_v unto_o it_o and_o therefore_o think_v thou_o say_v this_o shake_v the_o foundation_n of_o thy_o comfort_n true_o better_a a_o rot_a foundation_n shall_v be_v shake_v then_o stand_v but_o you_o will_v say_v quest_n be_v it_o so_o with_o the_o saint_n in_o regard_n of_o all_o their_o spirirtuall_a blessing_n too_o yes_o answ_n when_o ever_o do_v the_o lord_n give_v a_o ordiance_n to_o his_o people_n in_o the_o way_n of_o a_o special_a mercy_n but_o first_o of_o all_o the_o sentence_n of_o death_n come_v upon_o the_o business_n and_o upon_o all_o the_o mean_n that_o do_v lead_v unto_o it_o when_o do_v the_o lord_n ever_o give_v any_o grace_n to_o his_o people_n but_o first_o of_o all_o the_o sentence_n of_o death_n past_a when_o ever_o do_v the_o lord_n give_v any_o encouragement_n in_o duty_n to_o any_o of_o his_o child_n but_o first_o a_o sentence_n of_o death_n past_a when_o ever_o do_v the_o lord_n give_v any_o great_a enjoyment_n of_o himself_o to_o any_o of_o his_o child_n but_o first_o a_o sentence_n of_o death_n past_a when_o ever_o be_v a_o poor_a soul_n make_v fruitful_a but_o first_o a_o sentence_n of_o death_n past_a oh_o never_o any_o more_o barren_a than_o i_o never_o any_o more_o dead_a than_o i_o our_o lord_n and_o saviour_n christ_n he_o promise_v his_o disciple_n that_o he_o will_v send_v they_o the_o holy-ghost_n the_o comforter_n but_o before_o the_o comforter_n come_v he_o go_v away_o himself_o from_o they_o and_o they_o be_v leave_v and_o never_o in_o such_o a_o sad_a condition_n as_o immediate_o before_o the_o comforter_n come_v and_o if_o you_o mind_v it_o here_o though_o abraham_n have_v many_o act_n of_o faith_n yet_o this_o act_n of_o faith_n be_v single_v out_o from_o all_o the_o rest_n of_o the_o act_n of_o abraham_n faith_n wherein_o abraham_n be_v hold_v forth_o as_o a_o pattern_n for_o all_o believer_n the_o grace_n of_o a_o godly_a man_n be_v his_o soul_n resurrection_n we_o be_v rise_v be_v rise_v with_o christ_n by_o grace_n we_o rise_v now_o say_v the_o apostle_n it_o be_v in_o regard_n of_o the_o resurrection_n be_v with_o seed_n that_o be_v sow_o it_o first_o die_v and_o then_o it_o rise_v the_o saint_n and_o people_n of_o god_n they_o have_v all_o their_o grace_n and_o all_o their_o comfort_n in_o a_o way_n of_o resurrection_n this_o be_v the_o way_n therefore_o god_n take_v with_o his_o people_n only_o take_v along_o with_o you_o these_o three_o or_o four_o cautionall_a consideration_n first_o this_o be_v to_o be_v understand_v concern_v the_o great_a and_o the_o special_a belssing_n and_o mercy_n which_o believer_n have_v there_o be_v some_o blessing_n and_o mercy_n that_o be_v more_o common_a and_o ordinary_a some_o that_o be_v more_o special_a and_o great_a i_o do_v not_o say_v that_o this_o be_v true_a concern_v every_o common_a and_o ordinary_a blessing_n that_o a_o believer_n have_v that_o he_o have_v no_o blessing_n no_o mercy_n but_o first_o of_o all_o a_o sentence_n of_o death_n be_v put_v upon_o it_o and_o upon_o all_o the_o mean_n that_o do_v lead_v unto_o it_o but_o i_o say_v its_o true_a concern_v the_o great_a and_o the_o special_a blessing_n and_o mercy_n we_o read_v of_o abraham_n that_o he_o have_v other_o child_n it_o be_v not_o so_o in_o regard_n of_o they_o but_o isaac_n be_v the_o great_a blessing_n it_o be_v so_o in_o regard_n of_o isaac_n the_o child_n of_o israel_n they_o have_v their_o daily_a bread_n and_o their_o water_n their_o daily_a provision_n we_o do_v not_o find_v it_o in_o regard_n of_o they_o but_o they_o have_v manna_n from_o heaven_n and_o they_o have_v water_n out_o of_o the_o rock_n they_o have_v special_a water_n special_a bread_n so_o in_o regard_n of_o these_o and_o therefore_o if_o you_o look_v into_o exod._n 15._o you_o shall_v find_v there_o at_o the_o last_o verse_n they_o come_v to_o elim_n where_o be_v twelve_o well_n of_o water_n according_a to_o the_o twelve_o tribe_n every_o tribe_n have_v twelve_o and_o threescore_o and_o ten_o palm_n tree_n according_a to_o the_o number_n of_o those_o that_o go_v down_o to_o egypt_n but_o now_o before_o they_o have_v these_o twelve_o well_n of_o water_n yea_o read_v at_o the_o 22._o verse_n that_o they_o go_v three_o day_n in_o the_o wilderness_n and_o find_v no_o water_n at_o the_o 25._o verse_n you_o read_v of_o water_n they_o have_v that_o be_v very_o sweet_a
