of_o a_o land_n so_o it_o be_v he_o and_o he_o alone_o that_o make_v war_n to_o cease_v in_o all_o the_o world_n he_o break_v the_o bow_n and_o knap_v the_o spear_n in_o sunder_o and_o burn_v the_o chariot_n in_o the_o fire_n and_o without_o he_o it_o can_v be_v do_v as_o you_o may_v see_v in_o jer._n 47.6_o and_o i_o fear_v and_o i_o pray_v god_n it_o be_v but_o my_o fear_n that_o as_o the_o wrath_n of_o god_n be_v never_o appease_v for_o the_o innocent_a blood_n of_o the_o gibeonite_n that_o saul_n most_o unjust_o spill_v until_o it_o be_v revenge_v by_o blood_n upon_o the_o house_n of_o saul_n so_o the_o innocent_a blood_n that_o have_v be_v spill_v in_o this_o kingdom_n can_v never_o be_v expiate_v until_o a_o atonement_n be_v make_v by_o blood_n because_o that_o without_o blood_n that_o shed_v man_n blood_n that_o be_v illegal_o by_o man_n shall_v his_o blood_n be_v shed_v that_o be_v judiciary_o by_o the_o magistrate_n say_v god_n in_o the_o old_a testament_n and_o all_o they_o that_o take_v the_o sword_n that_o be_v without_o due_a authority_n shall_v perish_v by_o the_o sword_n that_o be_v by_o just_a authority_n say_v our_o saviour_n christ_n in_o the_o new_a man_n of_o valour_n and_o let_v the_o right_a hand_n of_o the_o most_o high_a teach_v you_o terrible_a thing_n until_o as_o our_o prophet_n speak_v 24._o ver._n 24._o judgement_n shall_v run_v down_o as_o water_n and_o righteousness_n as_o a_o mighty_a stream_n that_o be_v smooth_o without_o any_o manner_n of_o opposition_n as_o montanus_n and_o vatablus_n render_v it_o set_v god_n and_o his_o truth_n always_o before_o your_o eye_n and_o labour_n for_o that_o peace_n which_o may_v stand_v with_o the_o peace_n of_o conscience_n and_o with_o your_o peace_n with_o god_n or_o otherwise_o you_o may_v purchase_v a_o worldly_a peace_n at_o too_o dear_a a_o rate_n it_o may_v be_v with_o the_o loss_n of_o your_o soul_n when_o god_n shall_v say_v unto_o you_o as_o he_o do_v unto_o the_o jew_n shall_v not_o i_o visit_v for_o these_o thing_n as_o if_o he_o say_v you_o indeed_o for_o your_o peace_n and_o prosperity_n sake_n for_o fear_v of_o danger_n and_o in_o hope_n of_o rest_n may_v be_v content_v to_o wink_v at_o all_o these_o sin_n that_o have_v provoke_v i_o to_o wrath_n and_o perhaps_o to_o sell_v my_o truth_n and_o suffer_v my_o service_n to_o be_v abuse_v and_o my_o servant_n to_o be_v destroy_v that_o you_o may_v live_v in_o peace_n but_o do_v you_o think_v that_o i_o be_o such_o a_o one_o as_o yourselves_o or_o that_o i_o will_v suffer_v all_o these_o thing_n to_o go_v unrevenged_a no_o no_o say_v the_o prophet_n the_o lord_n be_v know_v to_o execute_v judgement_n and_o he_o will_v be_v judge_n himself_o he_o will_v kindle_v the_o fire_n and_o none_o shall_v quench_v it_o and_o therefore_o noble_a and_o religious_a gentleman_n that_o love_v your_o god_n better_o than_o the_o world_n and_o his_o eternal_a honour_n better_o than_o your_o own_o temporal_a happiness_n love_v peace_n and_o ensue_v it_o but_o let_v it_o be_v with_o the_o truth_n and_o with_o justice_n let_v the_o story_n of_o the_o worthy_a maccabee_n be_v set_v before_o your_o eye_n that_o rather_o than_o they_o will_v change_v their_o religion_n or_o suffer_v the_o service_n of_o god_n any_o way_n to_o be_v impair_v and_o their_o ecclesiastical_a government_n to_o be_v in_o any_o thing_n change_v they_o sell_v their_o peace_n with_o the_o loss_n of_o their_o life_n which_o be_v their_o everlasting_a praise_n and_o here_o i_o do_v profess_v i_o do_v most_o hearty_o wish_v for_o peace_n and_o will_v think_v myself_o most_o happy_a to_o see_v peace_n establish_v as_o of_o old_a but_o rather_o than_o i_o shall_v see_v it_o with_o the_o ruin_n of_o the_o church_n with_o a_o presbyterian_a discipline_n that_o new-sprung_a outlandish_a weed_n of_o man_n invention_n and_o no_o plant_n of_o god_n plantation_n i_o beseech_v almighty_a god_n that_o i_o may_v beg_v my_o bread_n and_o se●k_v it_o in_o desolate_a place_n that_o my_o blood_n may_v be_v pour_v like_o water_n upon_o the_o ground_n and_o the_o remainder_n of_o my_o year_n may_v be_v cut_v off_o from_o the_o land_n of_o the_o live_n so_o much_o do_v i_o desire_v to_o embrace_v my_o own_o misery_n rather_o than_o to_o see_v the_o church_n infelicity_n and_o the_o service_n of_o god_n so_o much_o vilify_v and_o i_o be_o confident_a
