where_o we_o may_v see_v that_o god_n in_o his_o judgement_n remember_v mercy_n the_o meritorious_a deserve_a cause_n be_v describe_v first_o from_o the_o quantity_n of_o those_o person_n in_o those_o evil_a day_n a_o great_a many_o vers_n the_o first_o man_n begin_v to_o multiply_v in_o place_n populous_a where_o there_o be_v some_o good_a there_o be_v many_o bad_a second_o by_o the_o quality_n of_o those_o person_n the_o son_n of_o god_n when_o they_o see_v the_o daughter_n of_o man_n the_o son_n of_o god_n viz._n the_o posterity_n of_o they_o that_o maintain_v religion_n they_o begin_v to_o be_v careless_a and_o carnal_o confident_a they_o do_v look_v after_o the_o profit_n and_o pleasure_n of_o this_o life_n and_o then_o it_o be_v high_a time_n for_o god_n to_o enter_v into_o judgement_n three_o by_o the_o kind_n of_o sin_n they_o lust_v after_o unlawful_a marriage_n etc._n etc._n and_o the_o root_n of_o this_o be_v original_a corruption_n the_o imagination_n of_o man_n heart_n be_v only_o evil_a and_o that_o continual_o verse_n 5._o these_o word_n be_v a_o proclamation_n of_o god_n purpose_n to_o bring_v it_o to_o a_o end_n in_o which_o be_v four_o thing_n first_o the_o lord_n complaint_n in_o these_o word_n the_o lord_n say_v second_o the_o
proclamation_n itself_o in_o these_o word_n my_o spirit_n shall_v not_o always_o strive_v with_o man_n three_o the_o reason_n because_o he_o be_v but_o flesh_n four_o the_o limitation_n of_o the_o the_o word_n thus_o open_v there_o will_v natural_o arise_v these_o two_o point_n first_o that_o the_o lord_n of_o heaven_n and_o earth_n doct._n 1_o do_v strive_v mighty_o with_o a_o company_n of_o poor_a rebel_n and_o all_o to_o bring_v they_o unto_o himself_o but_o on_o this_o i_o intend_v not_o to_o insist_v the_o second_o be_v this_o viz._n that_o there_o be_v a_o time_n when_o god_n will_v strive_v with_o man_n no_o more_o and_o that_o in_o this_o life_n the_o scope_n of_o this_o aim_n at_o the_o whole_a world_n but_o what_o be_v say_v in_o general_a may_v also_o be_v say_v in_o particular_a well_o then_o there_o be_v a_o time_n in_o this_o life_n and_o not_o when_o we_o be_v dead_a and_o go_v for_o than_o it_o be_v certain_a there_o be_v no_o more_o come_n unto_o god_n but_o in_o this_o life_n there_o be_v a_o time_n when_o god_n will_v strive_v with_o man_n no_o more_o neither_o for_o their_o good_a here_o nor_o for_o their_o everlasting_a happiness_n hereafter_o for_o unto_o every_o thing_n there_o be_v a_o appoint_a time_n eccles_n 3._o 1._o now_o the_o lord_n call_v love_o to_o allure_v we_o but_o there_o will_v come_v a_o time_n of_o go_v you_o curse_v the_o
