christ_n receive_v you_o at_o last_o it_o will_v be_v rich_a mercy_n but_o it_o will_v be_v harsh_o i_o have_v often_o think_v of_o it_o young_a people_n do_v not_o know_v how_o much_o bitterness_n of_o spirit_n they_o avoid_v by_o close_v with_o christ_n betimes_o my_o think_v i_o see_v some_o soul_n under_o such_o a_o condition_n you_o have_v stay_v out_o all_o day_n and_o come_v home_o at_o midnight_n i_o do_v not_o say_v you_o shall_v not_o be_v receive_v when_o you_o come_v but_o you_o may_v be_v receive_v with_o a_o whip_n and_o go_v to_o bed_n without_o a_o supper_n as_o we_o use_v to_o say_v to_o some_o child_n now_o i_o be_o afraid_a of_o one_o snare_n of_o the_o devil_n my_o think_v i_o hear_v the_o devil_n whisper_v to_o some_o soul_n well_o be_v it_o so_o as_o you_o say_v esteem_n of_o i_o or_o great_a be_v thy_o want_n but_o o_o woman_n great_a be_v thy_o faith_n it_o be_v the_o woman_n faith_n that_o carry_v she_o through_o these_o difficulty_n i_o will_v demonstrate_v this_o doctrine_n by_o some_o instance_n and_o therefore_o i_o shall_v mention_v some_o of_o the_o difficulty_n which_o be_v in_o our_o way_n to_o christ_n and_o show_v how_o that_o it_o the_o whole_a as_o ever_o you_o will_v have_v mercy_n for_o body_n and_o soul_n go_v to_o jesus_n christ_n but_o now_o there_o be_v some_o general_a word_n that_o i_o will_v draw_v from_o the_o whole_a story_n we_o have_v now_o dispatch_v this_o whole_a discourse_n of_o the_o woman_n of_o canaan_n what_o be_v there_o that_o be_v upon_o my_o spirit_n to_o beg_v of_o the_o lord_n for_o you_o and_o for_o my_o own_o soul_n but_o this_o that_o this_o story_n may_v be_v always_o a_o good_a story_n to_o we_o first_o of_o all_o therefore_o i_o say_v look_v about_o you_o that_o the_o story_n to_o christ_n and_o behold_v the_o woman_n of_o canaan_n to_o establish_v you_o in_o that_o good_a christian_a custom_n of_o have_v recourse_n to_o christ_n on_o all_o occasion_n in_o all_o necessity_n whether_o for_o you_o and_o yourselves_o but_o this_o be_v general_a there_o be_v two_o thing_n in_o particular_a the_o first_o particular_a thing_n i_o will_v have_v you_o learn_v out_o of_o this_o mother_n come_v upon_o this_o account_n be_v parentive_a pity_n in_o compassion_n on_o child_n this_o woman_n of_o canaan_n pity_v her_o child_n and_o cry_n as_o if_o she_o herself_o sick_a soul_n friend_n put_v on_o bowel_n as_o the_o elect_a of_o god_n as_o the_o woman_n of_o canaan_n and_o have_v compassion_n on_o your_o child_n in_o all_o their_o affliction_n be_v you_o afflict_v with_o all_o their_o sorrow_n be_v you_o affect_v and_o go_v to_o christ_n on_o their_o behalf_n but_o not_o only_o for_o body_n
especial_o consider_v the_o many_o former_a precedent_n of_o person_n come_v to_o christ_n that_o this_o woman_n shall_v have_v be_v embrace_v present_o how_o lowly_a do_v she_o come_v how_o loud_o there_o concern_v a_o woman_n that_o christ_n have_v compassion_n on_o she_o he_o be_v trouble_v for_o his_o bowel_n do_v yearn_v towards_o she_o the_o lord_n jesus_n have_v therefore_o such_o tender_a bowel_n thence_o it_o come_v to_o pass_v that_o though_o at_o first_o he_o may_v carry_v it_o strange_o yet_o at_o last_o he_o will_v carry_v it_o kind_o this_o poor_a woman_n of_o canaan_n once_o the_o lord_n seem_v to_o speak_v harsh_o to_o she_o but_o his_o bowel_n do_v yearn_v and_o upon_o that_o account_n he_o deal_v well_o at_o last_o the_o three_o reason_n in_o a_o word_n be_v this_o christ_n will_v carry_v it_o thus_o well_o at_o last_o because_o in_o a_o sense_n he_o be_v very_o fearful_a and_o therefore_o very_o careful_a that_o none_o do_v perish_v in_o a_o good_a way_n at_o least_o through_o his_o neglect_n my_o belove_a christ_n be_v fearful_a of_o the_o perish_v of_o poor_a soul_n especial_o in_o a_o good_a way_n and_o most_o especial_o through_o his_o neglect_n sinner_n look_v about_o you_o if_o you_o will_v rebel_v and_o run_v away_o from_o christ_n and_o wander_v from_o he_o and_o perish_v christ_n care_v not_o but_o if_o thou_o have_v a_o heart_n to_o look_v towards_o god_n if_o thou_o go_v after_o jesus_n christ_n and_o cry_v to_o he_o he_o be_v very_o fearful_a lest_o thou_o shall_v perish_v in_o such_o a_o good_a way_n isa_n 57.16_o say_v god_n
