free_a from_o such_o law_n in_o either_o of_o these_o sense_n there_o be_v one_o text_n insist_v on_o by_o both_o of_o these_o party_n for_o each_o
of_o god_n the_o power_n that_o be_v be_v ordain_v of_o god_n whosoever_o therefore_o resist_v the_o power_n resist_v the_o ordinance_n of_o god_n etc._n etc._n so_o that_o all_o we_o assert_v be_v this_o that_o we_o be_v bind_v to_o obey_v our_o lawful_a governor_n for_o god_n sake_n who_o have_v invest_v they_o with_o the_o authority_n they_o have_v over_o we_o and_o command_v we_o to_o obey_v disobedience_n but_o it_o be_v the_o authority_n of_o god_n which_o make_v disobedience_n to_o be_v a_o sin_n and_o what_o immediate_o follow_v deserve_v also_o to_o be_v transcribe_v in_o this_o place_n viz._n and_o though_o no_o humane_a power_n can_v give_v or_o take_v grace_n away_o yet_o we_o may_v remember_v that_o we_o ourselves_o throw_v away_o god_n grace_n or_o abuse_v it_o or_o neglect_v it_o when_o we_o will_v not_o make_v use_n of_o it_o to_o the_o purpose_n of_o humility_n charity_n and_o obedience_n all_o which_o be_v concern_v in_o our_o subordination_n to_o the_o law_n there_o be_v also_o this_o difference_n between_o the_o obligation_n of_o divine_a and_o humane_a law_n viz._n the_o divine_a law_n bind_v our_o thought_n and_o the_o sense_n of_o our_o mind_n they_o necessitate_v i_o to_o receive_v they_o for_o such_o and_o to_o think_v they_o good_a law_n and_o safe_a to_o steer_v my_o action_n by_o again_o how_o can_v any_o such_o power_n deprive_v i_o of_o extreme_a of_o assert_v a_o unlimited_a liberty_n of_o practise_v according_a to_o a_o man_n conscience_n this_o will_v appear_v to_o be_v a_o extreme_a indeed_o and_o a_o very_a wild_a and_o mad_a one_o if_o we_o consider_v that_o there_o be_v scarce_o any_o thing_n so_o extravagant_a or_o wicked_a but_o the_o conscience_n of_o some_o or_o other_o may_v urge_v they_o to_o it_o nay_o it_o be_v certain_a that_o man_n have_v pretend_a conscience_n for_o some_o of_o the_o most_o impious_a and_o most_o villainous_a action_n in_o the_o world_n so_o the_o papist_n have_v do_v among_o ourselves_o we_o all_o know_v and_o another_o sort_n of_o people_n too_o who_o principle_n though_o very_o bad_a be_v better_a than_o they_o and_o it_o be_v not_o possible_a for_o we_o to_o know_v that_o their_o pretence_n of_o conscience_n be_v more_o pretence_n nor_o be_v it_o hard_o for_o we_o to_o persuade_v ourselves_o that_o through_o the_o just_a judgement_n of_o god_n for_o past_a provocation_n the_o spirit_n of_o delusion_n may_v be_v permit_v to_o have_v such_o power_n over_o some_o man_n conscience_n as_o that_o they_o shall_v call_v evil_a good_a and_o good_a evil_n put_v darkness_n for_o light_n and_o light_n for_o darkness_n and_o bitter_a for_o sweet_a and_o sweet_a for_o bitter_a for_o we_o find_v a_o woe_n pronounce_v against_o such_o as_o do_v so_o isaiah_n 5._o 20._o which_o there_o will_v not_o have_v be_v if_o there_o be_v no_o such_o man_n nor_o can_v be_v and_o it_o be_v say_v of_o some_o 2_o thess._n 2._o 10_o 11_o 12._o that_o because_o they_o receive_v not_o the_o
