of_o sin_n past_a and_o brag_v of_o it_o as_o a_o mad_a prank_n which_o shall_v be_v as_o a_o dagger_n to_o his_o heart_n whereas_o david_n heart_n smite_v he_o for_o cut_v off_o saul_n lap_n and_o as_o soon_o as_o he_o have_v number_v the_o people_n and_o peter_n as_o soon_o as_o he_o have_v deny_v christ._n this_o man_n can_v rejoice_v in_o conceit_n of_o a_o future_a sin_n whereas_o david_n company_n because_o they_o be_v so_o and_o because_o they_o see_v some_o part_n of_o god_n image_n in_o they_o whereas_o a_o guileful_a heart_n not_o have_v deny_v itself_o profess_v for_o by_o respect_n and_o worldly_a cause_n addict_v unto_o not_o call_v out_o of_o the_o world_n it_o love_v good_a man_n not_o for_o their_o goodness_n but_o for_o the_o respect_n they_o have_v in_o the_o world_n or_o some_o other_o occasion_n respect_v themselves_o if_o then_o thou_o will_v know_v whether_o thou_o have_v a_o sincere_a heart_n or_o no_o first_o observe_v thy_o action_n both_o in_o their_o nature_n and_o end_n first_o in_o their_o nature_n if_o they_o be_v single_a 1_o and_o pure_a so_o be_v thy_o heart_n as_o be_v the_o fountain_n and_o the_o root_n such_o be_v the_o stream_n and_o the_o fruit_n second_o in_o their_o end_n a_o honest_a heart_n ever_o aim_v at_o god_n glory_n direct_o whereas_o a_o guileful_a heart_n ever_o propound_v bad_a end_n of_o good_a action_n second_o observe_v whether_o thou_o make_v conscience_n secret_o of_o all_o sin_n yea_o most_o serious_o of_o those_o to_o which_o 2_o thou_o be_v most_o incline_v whether_o thou_o have_v condemn_v thyself_o in_o dust_n and_o ash_n whether_o thou_o have_v resist_v and_o prevail_v or_o else_o lie_v still_o under_o the_o power_n of_o corruption_n three_o consider_v whether_o thou_o daily_o renue_v
