say_v i_o have_v pray_v for_o thou_o that_o thy_o faith_n fail_v 32._o not_o so_o he_o pray_v for_o all_o his_o choose_a one_o that_o believe_v in_o he_o when_o he_o say_v to_o his_o father_n i_o pray_v not_o for_o these_o alone_a but_o for_o 20._o they_o also_o which_o shall_v believe_v in_o i_o through_o their_o word_n yet_o the_o faith_n of_o the_o saint_n suffer_v sometime_o a_o eclipse_n or_o decease_a &_o at_o some_o other_o time_n a_o increase_v whereby_o as_o in_o the_o increase_n of_o their_o faith_n they_o stand_v fast_o and_o be_v full_a of_o comfort_n so_o in_o the_o decease_a of_o their_o faith_n their_o foot_n become_v slippery_a and_o they_o take_v many_o sore_a fall_n &_o feel_v their_o heart_n oppress_v with_o fear_n as_o it_o be_v with_o david_n when_o he_o cry_v out_o my_o god_n 1._o my_o god_n why_o have_v thou_o forsake_v i_o and_o be_v so_o far_o from_o my_o health_n and_o from_o the_o word_n of_o my_o roar_n and_o when_o he_o complain_v at_o another_o time_n say_v my_o 4._o heart_n tremble_v within_o i_o and_o the_o terror_n of_o death_n be_v fall_v upon_o i_o fear_v and_o tremble_a be_v come_v upon_o i_o and_o a_o horrible_a fear_n have_v cover_v i_o in_o this_o manner_n their_o faith_n at_o that_o time_n be_v in_o the_o wane_n the_o righteous_a oppress_v with_o a_o weight_n of_o anguish_n and_o fear_n do_v often_o fall_v through_o the_o shrink_n of_o their_o faith_n and_o feel_v themselves_o sore_o bruise_v in_o their_o soul_n but_o yet_o such_o be_v the_o mercy_n of_o god_n that_o misery_n he_o do_v not_o suffer_v the_o righteous_a be_v fall_v into_o these_o inward_a judgement_n and_o misery_n to_o fall_v for_o ever_o and_o if_o it_o be_v a_o blind_a understanding_n or_o a_o harden_a heart_n that_o they_o be_v fall_v into_o he_o raise_v they_o up_o out_o from_o a_o blind_a understanding_n by_o send_v the_o knowledge_n of_o the_o 〈◊〉_d as_o the_o lord_n jesus_n send_v paul_n among_o the_o ignorant_a gentile_n with_o this_o commission_n i_o send_v thou_o to_o open_v their_o 〈◊〉_d 18_o that_o they_o may_v turn_v from_o darkness_n to_o light_n etc._n etc._n and_o he_o raise_v they_o up_o from_o hardness_n of_o heart_n by_o mollify_a their_o heart_n as_o he_o promise_v by_o ezekiel_n say_v i_o 26._o will_v take_v away_o the_o stonâ—…e_a heart_n out_o of_o your_o body_n and_o i_o will_v give_v you_o a_o heart_n of_o flesh_n and_o if_o they_o be_v fall_v into_o any_o fear_n and_o 〈◊〉_d terror_n of_o conscience_n he_o raise_v they_o up_o by_o repair_v their_o faith_n and_o by_o reviue_v their_o comfort_n to_o that_o end_n he_o bring_v to_o their_o remembrance_n the_o large_a promise_n of_o his_o grace_n the_o boundless_a measure_n of_o his_o mercy_n the_o riches_n of_o his_o free_a &_o unchangeable_a love_n and_o then_o do_v he_o make_v they_o remember_v that_o they_o have_v a_o mediator_n that_o die_v for_o their_o sin_n and_o rise_v again_o for_o their_o justification_n and_o ascend_v into_o heaven_n to_o prepare_v a_o place_n for_o they_o and_o sit_v on_o the_o right_a hand_n of_o his_o father_n in_o high_a favour_n and_o great_a authority_n to_o make_v intercession_n for_o they_o continual_o urge_v the_o virtue_n of_o his_o death_n and_o bloodshedding_n that_o have_v take_v away_o the_o sin_n of_o the_o world_n who_o be_v the_o prince_n of_o peace_n that_o have_v make_v their_o peace_n and_o be_v that_o belove_a son_n in_o who_o the_o father_n be_v well_o please_v make_v we_o accept_v in_o that_o his_o belove_a to_o the_o same_o end_n do_v he_o spread_v the_o beam_n of_o his_o love_a countenance_n and_o cause_v the_o light_n thereof_o to_o shine_v within_o their_o conscience_n send_v down_o the_o spirit_n of_o adoption_n into_o their_o heart_n to_o bear_v witness_n with_o their_o spirit_n that_o they_o be_v the_o son_n of_o god_n so_o rake_v together_o the_o spark_n of_o their_o almost_o smother_a faith_n from_o among_o the_o cold_a ash_n of_o anguish_n and_o fear_n where_o it_o lay_v deep_o cover_v give_v heat_n and_o life_n unto_o it_o with_o the_o warm_a fire_n of_o his_o comfort_n so_o that_o they_o begin_v to_o lift_v up_o their_o head_n and_o to_o rejoice_v their_o heart_n and_o to_o shake_v of_o their_o their_o sorrow_n and_o fear_n and_o to_o glory_n in_o god_n say_v with_o the_o bless_a virgin_n my_o 46_o soul_n magnify_v the_o lord_n and_o my_o spirit_n rejoice_v in_o god_n my_o saviour_n and_o with_o the_o prophet_n david_n thou_o have_v tnrn_v my_o 11._o mourning_n into_o joy_n thou_o have_v loose_v my_o sack_n and_o gird_v i_o with_o gladness_n and_o that_o god_n do_v thus_o not_o suffer_v the_o righteous_a to_o fall_v and_o languish_v in_o these_o inward_a misery_n for_o ever_o beside_o the_o experience_n to_o no_o other_o work_n of_o god_n for_o the_o more_o sure_a and_o full_a performance_n whereof_o god_n send_v his_o son_n into_o the_o world_n who_o come_v to_o call_v sinner_n unto_o repentance_n
