contention_n betwixt_o the_o cold_a and_o heat_n the_o cold_a will_v have_v its_o life_n according_a to_o its_o property_n and_o in_o that_o it_o do_v strive_v for_o life_n it_o do_v enkindle_v the_o heat_n in_o its_o impression_n and_o forthwith_o the_o heat_n deprive_v the_o cold_a of_o its_o may_v and_o consume_v the_o cold_n
four_o element_n viz._n into_o the_o centre_n of_o darkness_n in_o the_o creation_n whence_o heat_n and_o cold_a arise_v 24._o his_o desire_n in_o the_o beginning_n be_v bend_v incline_n into_o the_o liberty_n of_o god_n viz._n into_o the_o element_n where_o he_o be_v resign_v in_o god_n and_o then_o god_n love-will_a rule_v he_o with_o the_o free_a lubet_n property_n but_o he_o depart_v out_o consider_v of_o his_o cure_n and_o restoration_n how_o he_o may_v again_o be_v deliver_v from_o death_n and_o he_o again_o introduce_v with_o the_o body_n into_o the_o pure_a element_n and_o with_o create_v he_o in_o its_o image_n whereby_o god_n do_v manifest_v himself_o in_o a_o image_n and_o so_o he_o be_v with_o the_o first_o astrum_n viz_o with_o the_o chaos_n of_o the_o soul_n again_o in_o the_o same_o comprehension_n wherein_o god_n create_v he_o unto_o his_o image_n 27_o but_o see_v the_o self-hood_n viz._n the_o self-ful_a will_n do_v strive_v against_o this_o and_o will_v in_o no_o wise_a dye_n to_o its_o self-hood_n understand_v by_o self-hood_n the_o will_n of_o the_o outward_a world_n which_o be_v from_o the_o outward_a star_n and_o four_o element_n therefore_o god_n food_n must_v be_v give_v to_o the_o inward_a will_n of_o the_o spirit_n to_o eat_v of_o that_o it_o may_v live_v without_o need_n and_o hunger_n as_o to_o the_o outward_a be_v that_o it_o may_v continual_o mortify_v and_o break_v the_o will_n of_o the_o earthly_a self-hood_n until_o the_o earthliness_n viz._n the_o earthly_a body_n do_v free_o unloose_v or_o dissolve_v itself_o in_o death_n and_o also_o enter_v again_o into_o the_o mother_n whence_o it_o be_v create_v and_o forsake_v its_o self-hood_n that_o the_o pure_a body_n of_o the_o element_n in_o which_o liberty_n the_o true_a life_n in_o god_n will-spirit_n do_v again_o enkindle_v the_o soul_n in_o the_o resigned_n will_v and_o the_o disappear_v body_n from_o the_o pure_a element_n may_v become_v a_o mansion_n of_o the_o soul_n viz._n a_o paradisical_a bud_a or_o bloomy_a renovation_n in_o the_o eternal_a springtime_n of_o paradise_n 28._o and_o that_o the_o own_o will_n of_o the_o soul_n may_v be_v able_a to_o do_v this_o viz._n love_n 29._o now_o we_o be_v to_o consider_v how_o the_o poor_a soul_n captivate_v in_o god_n anger_n be_v devoid_a of_o the_o heavenly_a food_n do_v live_v in_o mere_a anguish_n and_o distress_n and_o restless_a pain_n as_o the_o outward_a earthly_a body_n in_o its_o property_n do_v live_v in_o its_o hunger_n in_o mere_a anguish_n distress_n and_o oppress_a pain_n unless_o that_o the_o soul_n with_o the_o pure_a element_n do_v so_o overpower_v and_o keep_v it_o under_o that_o it_o do_v not_o full_o domineer_v in_o its_o own_o dominion_n of_o the_o outward_a astrum_n and_o four_o element_n in_o the_o poysonful_a mercurial_a wheel_n according_a to_o the_o dark_a impression_n by_o reason_n of_o the_o influence_n of_o the_o element_n if_o that_o the_o universal_a do_v withstand_v it_o than_o it_o may_v stand_v in_o quiet_a rest_n but_o yet_o no_o long_o than_o the_o inward_a do_v penetrate_v the_o outward_a body_n and_o tincture_n it_o there_o be_v in_o the_o four_o element_n no_o perfection_n till_o the_o body_n be_v change_v again_o into_o the_o pure_a element_n therefore_o it_o must_v enter_v again_o into_o that_o whence_o the_o four_o element_n do_v arise_v 30._o now_o in_o this_o time_n of_o the_o four_o element_n there_o be_v mere_a pain_n and_o source_n vexation_n the_o soul_n amuse_v itself_o on_o the_o outward_a astrum_n which_o do_v force_n into_o it_o whence_o its_o false_a imagination_n do_v arise_v and_o the_o body_n do_v stir_v up_o the_o poysonful_a mercurial_a wheel_n whence_o sickness_n and_o pain_n befall_v it_o therefore_o the_o soul_n must_v be_v cure_v with_o the_o inward_a perfection_n viz._n by_o the_o speak_a word_n wherein_o it_o stand_v in_o god_n hand_n which_o alone_o be_v able_a to_o tincture_n the_o soul_n and_o bring_v it_o into_o rest_n the_o outward_a body_n must_v be_v tincture_v and_o heal_v with_o the_o express_a mercury_n and_o of_o the_o outward_a mercury_n do_v also_o stand_v in_o the_o curse_n as_o a_o poyson-wheel_n than_o he_o must_v be_v tincture_v with_o his_o own_o light_n in_o his_o mother_n in_o the_o body_n or_o womb_n of_o sulphur_n mercury_n his_o own_o will_n and_o hunger_n must_v be_v break_v that_o that_o hardness_n in_o the_o fire_n &_o yet_o in_o the_o five_o form_n in_o the_o love-desire_n viz._n in_o the_o pleasant_a property_n it_o be_v again_o receive_v as_o a_o clear_a sound_n out_o of_o the_o die_a of_o the_o fire_n in_o the_o lustre_n of_o the_o light_n in_o the_o tincture_n wherein_o also_o the_o five_o sense_n viz._n hear_v see_v feel_v smell_a and_o taste_v do_v arise_v in_o the_o tincture_n of_o the_o light_n from_o the_o fire_n 14._o seven_o the_o menstruam_fw-la or_o the_o seed_n of_o all_o these_o form_n which_o the_o desire_n do_v impress_n into_o a_o comprehensive_a first_o and_o the_o attraction_n make_v therein_o the_o second_o property_n viz._n a_o bitter_a sting_v which_o the_o hardness_n can_v endure_v for_o it_o will_v be_v still_o and_o thereupon_o it_o do_v more_o vehement_o impress_n itself_o to_o withhold_v the_o sting_n and_o yet_o the_o sting_n do_v thereby_o only_o grow_v the_o great_a now_o the_o hardness_n viz._n the_o astringency_n will_v
