the_o prophet_n say_v of_o a_o truth_n i_o have_v cleanse_v my_o heart_n in_o vain_a and_o have_v wash_v my_o hand_n in_o innocency_n against_o this_o doubt_n solomon_n set_v down_o fit_a answer_n â—ntation_n the_o first_o answer_n unto_o the_o former_a â—ntation_n 15._o and_o i_o praise_v etc._n etc._n the_o first_o answer_n that_o we_o must_v not_o curious_o give_v over_o ourselves_o unto_o these_o cogitation_n and_o thought_n but_o that_o nothing_o be_v better_a nothing_o be_v more_o excellent_a in_o as_o much_o as_o no_o man_n can_v right_o give_v a_o cause_n of_o these_o disorder_n wherewith_o the_o life_n of_o man_n be_v trouble_v then_o rid_v our_o mind_n out_o of_o these_o care_n cheerful_o to_o use_v the_o benefit_n of_o god_n &_o commit_v our_o affair_n unto_o the_o providence_n of_o god_n that_o we_o go_v not_o about_o in_o any_o case_n curious_o to_o pry_v into_o the_o secret_n of_o thing_n unknown_a as_o namely_o to_o seek_v why_o the_o lord_n deal_v after_o this_o and_o this_o manner_n therefore_o that_o it_o be_v the_o best_a sober_o to_o consider_v of_o these_o matter_n and_o at_o no_o hand_n so_o to_o behave_v ourselves_o that_o by_o reason_n of_o the_o too_o vehement_a or_o earnest_a conceive_v of_o they_o we_o be_v bereave_v of_o the_o fruit_n of_o god_n his_o benefit_n this_o be_v the_o first_o answer_n 16._o therefore_o &c_n &c_n the_o second_o answer_n if_o answer_n the_o second_o answer_n say_v he_o thou_o search_v after_o the_o thing_n that_o fall_v out_o unto_o man_n in_o this_o life_n and_o the_o cause_n of_o the_o same_o albeit_o that_o thou_o bend_v all_o the_o sharpness_n of_o thy_o wit_n unto_o the_o contemplation_n and_o study_n of_o so_o great_a secret_n employ_v all_o thy_o labour_n and_o diligence_n and_o word_n of_o god_n which_o be_v the_o true_a and_o sound_o wisdom_n in_o a_o word_n he_o signifi_v that_o it_o cannot_v possible_o be_v that_o we_o shall_v understand_v the_o cause_n of_o those_o thing_n the_o which_o in_o the_o common_a life_n of_o man_n do_v after_o so_o sundry_a sort_n fall_v out_o yea_o and_o moreover_o that_o it_o be_v a_o most_o vain_a thing_n to_o vex_v our_o mind_n about_o the_o search_v out_o of_o they_o too_o curious_o but_o that_o we_o must_v stay_v and_o rest_n upon_o the_o word_n of_o god_n from_o whence_o true_a oracle_n or_o answer_n must_v be_v set_v and_o take_v the_o nine_o chapter_n answer_n the_o third_o answer_n 1._o sure_o i_o have_v etc._n etc._n the_o three_o answer_n although_o it_o be_v so_o that_o be_v to_o say_v that_o the_o reason_n can_v not_o be_v yield_v of_o these_o trouble_n and_o disorder_n yet_o nevertheless_o we_o be_v to_o hold_v for_o certainty_n that_o all_o thing_n be_v by_o god_n most_o wise_o govern_v he_o say_v by_o way_n of_o preface_n that_o he_o diligent_o travail_v about_o the_o search_a out_o of_o all_o this_o matter_n by_o which_o enquiry_n he_o say_v that_o he_o learn_v that_o the_o just_a etc._n etc._n that_o be_v to_o say_v that_o god_n have_v a_o singular_a and_o a_o especial_a care_n of_o good_a and_o godly_a man_n not_o as_o if_o god_n have_v cast_v away_o the_o care_n of_o other_o man_n but_o he_o diligent_o declare_v that_o which_o be_v in_o controversitie_n and_o whereupon_o all_o the_o discourse_n be_v take_v respect_n who_o they_o be_v who_o solomon_n call_v just_a and_o in_o what_o respect_n the_o just_a according_a to_o the_o use_n of_o the_o scripture_n he_o call_v the_o faithful_a who_o god_n name_o of_o his_o mere_a grace_n account_v for_o just_a as_o be_v he_o that_o justifi_v the_o ungodlie_a as_o the_o apostle_n say_v while_o he_o impute_v unto_o they_o their_o faith_n in_o he_o unto_o righteousness_n and_o in_o who_o also_o he_o imprint_v the_o testimony_n of_o righteousness_n that_o be_v to_o say_v of_o a_o pure_a and_o innocent_a or_o
