therefore_o be_v reform_v with_o the_o power_n and_o faculty_n thereof_o chap._n viii_o rule_n for_o the_o reformation_n of_o our_o evil_a thought_n sect._n 1_o our_o thought_n must_v be_v bring_v into_o obedience_n to_o god_n for_o the_o reformation_n of_o our_o thought_n rule_n sundry_a rule_n must_v be_v observe_v first_o that_o we_o bring_v all_o our_o thought_n into_o the_o obedience_n of_o god_n every_o man_n will_v grant_v that_o word_n and_o action_n must_v be_v in_o subjection_n but_o i_o say_v further_o every_o thought_n in_o the_o mind_n must_v be_v conceive_v in_o obedience_n guard_v his_o heart_n and_o keep_v his_o mind_n from_o wicked_a imagination_n the_o devil_n can_v work_v his_o will_n upon_o man_n affection_n or_o prevail_v over_o man_n will_n but_o by_o thought_n &_o therefore_o it_o be_v necessary_a that_o the_o first_o motion_n of_o evil_a in_o the_o mind_n be_v restrain_v at_o the_o beginning_n three_o we_o must_v with_o all_o care_n cherish_v and_o maintain_v every_o good_a motion_n of_o god_n spirit_n that_o be_v cause_v in_o we_o by_o the_o ministry_n of_o the_o word_n or_o by_o the_o advice_n of_o god_n child_n for_o these_o be_v the_o
