between_o the_o reasonable_a soul_n of_o man_n and_o the_o live_a soul_n of_o bruit_n beast_n for_o do_v but_o look_v into_o the_o book_n of_o the_o generation_n of_o creature_n and_o you_o shall_v see_v there_o man_n soul_n be_v immediate_o breathe_v into_o his_o body_n by_o god_n himself_o and_o be_v create_v after_o his_o divine_a image_n but_o the_o live_a soul_n of_o bruit_n beast_n be_v needs_o as_o every_o thing_n else_o be_v by_o their_o like_a be_v preserve_v and_o nourish_v by_o christ_n who_o image_n they_o be_v and_o who_o may_v therefore_o with_o great_a truth_n and_o reason_n the_o food_n of_o our_o soul_n than_o our_o earthy_a diet_n can_v be_v the_o food_n of_o our_o body_n because_o he_o be_v every_o way_n both_o in_o respect_n of_o himself_o and_o we_o more_o preseruative_n then_o to_o body_n any_o bodily_a sustenance_n can_v be_v for_o that_o make_v we_o continue_v by_o be_v destroy_v itself_o and_o destroy_v we_o too_o if_o it_o be_v take_v in_o excess_n &_o though_o it_o be_v never_o so_o often_o use_v yet_o soon_o after_o we_o shall_v hunger_n again_o and_o thirst_v again_o neither_o can_v it_o repair_v our_o nature_n in_o the_o headlong_a ruin_n of_o age_n so_o fast_o but_o that_o we_o must_v every_o day_n forfeit_v a_o little_a spoil_n to_o mortality_n which_o it_o can_v no_o way_n possible_o recover_v and_o in_o conclusion_n unable_a to_o
