despond_v they_o have_v the_o example_n of_o their_o lord_n and_o master_n who_o suffer_v the_o like_a isaiah_n 49._o 4._o then_o say_v i_o i_o have_v labour_v in_o vain_a i_o have_v spend_v my_o strength_n for_o nought_o and_o in_o vain_a yet_o sure_o my_o judgement_n be_v with_o the_o lord_n and_o my_o work_n with_o my_o god_n god_n be_v witness_n of_o your_o faithfulness_n and_o diligence_n in_o your_o work_n and_o though_o you_o meet_v with_o nothing_o but_o contempt_n and_o hard_a usage_n god_n will_v give_v judgement_n for_o you_o god_n will_v reward_v you_o in_o due_a time_n let_v we_o consider_v the_o hand_n of_o satan_n be_v in_o it_o who_o be_v the_o great_a enemy_n to_o the_o gospel_n and_o to_o those_o that_o be_v commissionated_a to_o dispense_v it_o and_o the_o ordinance_n of_o it_o shall_v we_o expect_v peace_n with_o satan_n can_v we_o expect_v any_o otherwise_o but_o that_o so_o far_o as_o his_o device_n can_v prevail_v he_o will_v do_v we_o all_o the_o mischief_n and_o cause_v we_o all_o the_o trouble_n he_o can_v i_o will_v have_v come_v unto_o you_o once_o and_o again_o say_v paul_n 1_o thess_n 2._o 18._o but_o satan_n hinder_v i_o he_o will_v hinder_v so_o far_o as_o god_n permit_v let_v we_o also_o consider_v the_o hand_n of_o god_n in_o it_o it_o be_v to_o humble_v we_o to_o stir_v we_o up_o to_o prayer_n they_o have_v reward_v i_o evil_n for_o good_a but_o i_o give_v myself_o to_o prayer_n psalm_n 109._o 4._o and_o to_o stir_v we_o up_o to_o great_a diligence_n in_o our_o work_n and_o consider_v that_o he_o take_v notice_n of_o all_o your_o labour_n and_o all_o those_o difficulty_n that_o you_o be_v under_o thou_o have_v bear_v and_o have_v patience_n and_o for_o my_o name_n be_v sake_n haste_v labour_v and_o have_v not_o faint_v rev._n 2._o 3._o remember_v the_o eye_n of_o god_n be_v upon_o you_o observe_v how_o you_o behave_v yourself_o and_o that_o he_o take_v gracious_a cognizance_n of_o your_o go_v on_o courageous_o under_o such_o discouragement_n 2._o let_v i_o apply_v this_o by_o way_n of_o exhortation_n we_o beseech_v you_o brethren_n to_o know_v they_o that_o be_v over_o you_o in_o the_o lord_n and_o that_o you_o esteem_v they_o high_o in_o love_n for_o their_o work_n sake_n let_v i_o beseech_v you_o by_o the_o meekness_n and_o gentleness_n of_o christ_n to_o do_v so_o
