the_o child_n of_o the_o bride-chamber_n they_o be_v such_o as_o do_v attend_v there_o so_o he_o a_o son_n of_o peace_n attend_v upon_o the_o ministry_n of_o the_o gospel_n now_o by_o this_o second_o thou_o may_v know_v the_o first_o thou_o may_v know_v whither_o thou_o be_v a_o son_n that_o be_v whither_o thou_o be_v one_o that_o from_o all_o eternity_n be_v set_v apart_o by_o god_n the_o father_n to_o obtain_v the_o peace_n and_o benefit_n of_o the_o gospel_n but_o three_o the_o son_n of_o the_o gospel_n be_v to_o be_v as_o a_o obedient_a child_n to_o come_v with_o a_o resolution_n of_o the_o covenant_n of_o life_n and_o peace_n the_o soul_n do_v open_v itself_o to_o admit_v of_o the_o condition_n of_o the_o covenant_n lord_n speak_v thy_o servant_n hear_v reveal_v what_o thou_o will_v my_o soul_n be_v here_o ready_a and_o willing_a to_o accept_v of_o the_o covenant_n whatever_o it_o be_v further_o he_o do_v give_v up_o himself_o to_o be_v mould_v by_o the_o gospel_n mould_v by_o the_o word_n whatsoever_o he_o be_v before_o yet_o here_o he_o be_v now_o ready_a to_o give_v up_o his_o soul_n to_o be_v fashion_v to_o be_v frame_v by_o the_o word_n here_o be_v a_o son_n of_o peace_n further_o he_o do_v in_o his_o conversation_n act_n what_o he_o do_v hear_v in_o the_o ministry_n of_o the_o word_n and_o he_o do_v endeavour_n to_o live_v according_a to_o the_o glorious_a gospel_n that_o he_o do_v hear_v and_o he_o do_v labour_n to_o become_v the_o gospel_n so_o that_o one_o may_v know_v in_o such_o a_o one_o family_n and_o in_o such_o a_o one_o life_n a_o mighty_a deal_n of_o alteration_n and_o again_o such_o a_o one_o as_o be_v beget_v by_o it_o be_v not_o only_o obedient_a but_o indeed_o there_o be_v the_o work_n of_o regeneration_n wrought_v and_o therefore_o he_o may_v be_v call_v a_o son_n say_v the_o apostle_n i_o have_v beget_v you_o by_o the_o gospel_n and_o so_o by_o the_o word_n of_o truth_n you_o be_v beget_v abundance_n of_o peace_n to_o god_n st._n paul_n in_o gal._n 4._o he_o tell_v the_o galatian_n there_o that_o he_o do_v labour_n and_o travel_v in_o birth_n till_o christ_n be_v form_v in_o they_o my_o little_a peace_n of_o the_o gospel_n to_o any_o soul_n first_o such_o a_o soul_n will_v bless_v god_n for_o he_o now_o for_o a_o man_n to_o be_v so_o in_o the_o heart_n of_o the_o saint_n of_o god_n as_o that_o he_o shall_v have_v they_o bless_v the_o lord_n for_o he_o and_o bless_v the_o time_n that_o ever_o he_o see_v he_o bless_a be_v the_o lord_n and_o bless_a be_v thou_o as_o david_n say_v to_o abigail_n when_o it_o do_v but_o hinder_v he_o in_o one_o sin_n by_o her_o counsel_n but_o now_o if_o so_o be_v the_o lord_n do_v bless_v the_o ministry_n of_o the_o gospel_n to_o any_o so_o that_o what_o if_o not_o if_o not_o it_o shall_v turn_v to_o you_o again_o o_o that_o this_o shall_v be_v hear_v if_o not_o this_o be_v a_o sad_a supposition_n indeed_o if_o not_o what_o shall_v the_o lord_n send_v ambassador_n of_o peace_n the_o lord_n from_o heaven_n send_v to_o his_o poor_a creature_n the_o ministry_n of_o his_o gospel_n and_o offer_v peace_n between_o their_o soul_n and_o himself_o purchase_v by_o the_o blood_n of_o his_o son_n and_o shall_v it_o be_v say_v if_o not_o if_o there_o be_v any_o that_o will_v not_o embrace_v it_o be_v it_o possible_a that_o jesus_n christ_n wheresoever_o he_o come_v shall_v not_o be_v entertain_v true_o this_o very_a supposition_n that_o there_o shall_v be_v a_o possibility_n for_o any_o soul_n to_o who_o christ_n be_v reveal_v ever_o to_o reject_v do_v argue_v the_o extreme_a sinfulness_n of_o the_o heart_n of_o men._n o_o woe_n to_o we_o that_o such_o a_o thing_n shall_v be_v suppose_v as_o possible_a if_o not_o that_o christ_n shall_v come_v to_o any_o place_n and_o shall_v not_o be_v entertain_v what_o that_o the_o ministry_n of_o the_o gospel_n shall_v come_v and_o be_v reject_v when_o as_o it_o be_v nothing_o else_o but_o the_o bring_n of_o the_o message_n of_o peace_n to_o a_o people_n between_o god_n and_o they_o they_o may_v think_v perhaps_o that_o it_o come_v to_o trouble_v they_o but_o the_o truth_n be_v the_o errand_n of_o all_o the_o minister_n of_o the_o gospel_n among_o people_n it_o be_v no_o other_o in_o the_o conclusion_n and_o in_o the_o issue_n but_o to_o bring_v eternal_a peace_n to_o their_o soul_n and_o shall_v this_o be_v reject_v sometime_o it_o be_v so_o now_o in_o this_o we_o have_v these_o three_o thing_n first_o a_o sad_a supposition_n that_o sometime_o the_o ministry_n of_o the_o gospel_n come_v where_o it_o be_v reject_v by_o some_o second_o the_o encouragement_n of_o minister_n in_o this_o case_n christ_n do_v not_o only_o encourage_v they_o in_o case_n their_o ministry_n prevail_v that_o then_o they_o shall_v be_v instrument_n of_o so_o much_o good_a to_o soul_n but_o he_o do_v encourage_v they_o in_o case_n it_o do_v not_o prevail_v as_o if_o the_o disciple_n shall_v say_v i_o indeed_o if_o our_o ministry_n prevail_v that_o we_o may_v bring_v peace_n to_o soul_n we_o have_v enough_o but_o what_o if_o not_o it_o shall_v return_v to_o you_o again_o and_o then_o three_o a_o dreadful_a denunciation_n against_o all_o those_o that_o do_v not_o entertain_v the_o gospel_n and_o that_o be_v that_o they_o shall_v have_v no_o benefit_n of_o the_o peace_n of_o the_o gospel_n that_o the_o ministry_n of_o the_o gospel_n shall_v be_v take_v from_o they_o and_o that_o god_n will_v be_v very_o quick_a in_o his_o deal_n with_o they_o now_o then_o at_o this_o time_n for_o the_o first_o first_o if_o not_o this_o sad_a supposition_n from_o hence_o the_o point_n of_o doctrine_n or_o note_v of_o observation_n be_v this_o that_o the_o gospel_n do_v sometime_o go_v to_o place_n doct._n the_o ministry_n of_o the_o gospel_n be_v sometime_o send_v to_o place_n where_o it_o be_v reject_v by_o man_n as_o before_o if_o the_o son_n of_o peace_n that_o suppose_v that_o where_o god_n do_v send_v the_o gospel_n there_o be_v some_o son_n of_o peace_n so_o if_o not_o here_o be_v a_o supposion_n that_o the_o ministry_n of_o the_o gospel_n may_v be_v send_v to_o a_o place_n and_o yet_o there_o may_v be_v some_o that_o will_v reject_v this_o bless_a ministry_n you_o know_v what_o be_v say_v of_o christ_n himself_o and_o well_o then_o may_v it_o be_v say_v of_o they_o he_o send_v to_o preach_v when_o christ_n himself_o come_v to_o his_o own_o john_n 1._o his_o own_o receive_v he_o not_o his_o own_o those_o that_o he_o have_v a_o pecular_a right_n in_o the_o people_n of_o the_o jew_n even_o such_o as_o be_v the_o only_a people_n that_o do_v profess_v the_o true_a god_n upon_o the_o face_n of_o the_o earth_n i_o beseech_v you_o observe_v it_o when_o jesus_n christ_n come_v into_o the_o world_n there_o be_v but_o a_o handful_n of_o people_n upon_o the_o face_n of_o the_o earth_n that_o do_v so_o much_o as_o profess_v the_o worship_n of_o the_o true_a god_n but_o the_o generality_n of_o all_o the_o world_n except_o a_o little_a country_n of_o canaan_n that_o be_v a_o matter_n of_o

answer_v i_o account_v my_o blood_n well_o lay_v down_o that_o i_o may_v gain_v these_o soul_n unto_o myself_o o_o what_o a_o encouragement_n be_v here_o unto_o soul_n to_o embrace_v the_o gospel_n to_o be_v the_o child_n of_o peace_n and_o how_o shall_v you_o seek_v unto_o god_n for_o your_o child_n and_o friend_n o_o that_o god_n will_v make_v his_o gospel_n effectual_a to_o beget_v they_o to_o be_v son_n of_o peace_n you_o that_o be_v tender_a mother_n you_o shall_v look_v upon_o your_o child_n and_o think_v thus_o it_o may_v be_v the_o lord_n have_v some_o thought_n of_o good_a unto_o this_o child_n and_o when_o they_o come_v to_o hear_v the_o word_n you_o shall_v pray_v earnest_o for_o they_o that_o the_o lord_n will_v speak_v a_o word_n to_o their_o soul_n and_o you_o shall_v take_v as_o much_o pain_n and_o as_o earnest_o pray_v that_o the_o second_o birth_n may_v be_v perfect_v as_o you_o do_v for_o the_o first_o birth_n so_o it_o be_v with_o augustine_n mother_n he_o say_v she_o do_v take_v as_o much_o pain_n and_o shed_v as_o many_o tear_n for_o the_o conversion_n of_o his_o soul_n as_o she_o do_v at_o his_o first_o birth_n and_o so_o she_o obtain_v her_o labour_n i_o put_v this_o to_o you_o that_o be_v mother_n you_o complain_v of_o your_o child_n have_v you_o labour_v as_o much_o for_o the_o second_o birth_n of_o your_o child_n as_o your_o labour_n be_v when_o you_o do_v bear_v they_o in_o your_o womb_n it_o be_v so_o with_o that_o gracious_a mother_n for_o her_o son_n you_o have_v son_n it_o may_v be_v that_o be_v rather_o son_n of_o belial_n that_o entertain_v the_o gospel_n shall_v have_v the_o peace_n of_o the_o gospel_n second_o that_o this_o be_v a_o great_a mercy_n from_o god_n and_o the_o portion_n of_o the_o son_n of_o peace_n not_o only_o to_o have_v some_o sudden_a apprehension_n of_o the_o excellency_n of_o the_o gospel_n but_o to_o have_v the_o good_a and_o the_o blessing_n of_o the_o gospel_n to_o abide_v upon_o they_o to_o rest_v upon_o they_o that_o be_v the_o second_o and_o then_o three_o that_o those_o that_o do_v entertain_v the_o gospel_n do_v bring_v a_o blessing_n upon_o the_o place_n where_o they_o live_v for_o so_o if_o you_o observe_v it_o and_o look_v into_o the_o word_n you_o shall_v find_v that_o it_o be_v not_o say_v and_o if_o the_o son_n of_o peace_n be_v there_o your_o peace_n shall_v rest_v upon_o he_o but_o if_o the_o son_n of_o peace_n be_v there_o that_o be_v in_o the_o house_n into_o which_o you_o come_v your_o peace_n shall_v rest_v upon_o it_o upon_o the_o house_n upon_o the_o place_n where_o the_o son_n of_o peace_n be_v so_o that_o that_o be_v the_o three_o point_n where_o there_o be_v any_o that_o do_v embrace_v the_o gospel_n such_o a_o one_o do_v bring_v a_o blessing_n to_o the_o place_n and_o the_o family_n where_o he_o live_v four_o the_o consideration_n of_o the_o great_a good_a that_o a_o minister_n of_o god_n shall_v bring_v unto_o a_o place_n in_o case_n he_o that_o shall_v entertain_v your_o message_n that_o if_o they_o be_v the_o son_n of_o peace_n and_o entertain_v you_o you_o shall_v be_v the_o instrument_n to_o bring_v all_o the_o good_a of_o the_o gospel_n upon_o they_o these_o be_v the_o four_o doctrinal_a point_n clear_o in_o this_o blessing_n your_o peace_n shall_v rest_v upon_o they_o it_o be_v the_o second_o of_o these_o that_o i_o shall_v stick_v most_o on_o the_o first_o i_o confess_v be_v a_o large_a point_n that_o be_v this_o that_o whosoever_o entertain_v the_o gospel_n shall_v have_v the_o blessing_n of_o the_o gospel_n upon_o they_o the_o peace_n of_o the_o gospel_n your_o peace_n shall_v be_v upon_o they_o that_o which_o be_v here_o promise_v you_o have_v promise_v almost_o in_o the_o same_o word_n in_o the_o same_o case_n mat._n 10._o 13._o and_o if_o the_o house_n be_v worthy_a let_v your_o peace_n come_v upon_o it_o if_o it_o be_v worthy_a and_o in_o gal._n 6._o 16._o as_o many_o as_o walk_v according_a to_o this_o rule_n peace_n be_v upon_o he_o and_o upon_o the_o israel_n of_o god_n that_o be_v he_o that_o submit_v to_o the_o rule_n of_o the_o gospel_n he_o shall_v have_v the_o peace_n of_o the_o gospel_n the_o word_n in_o the_o greek_a be_v to_o this_o canon_n the_o canon_n of_o the_o gospel_n he_o shall_v have_v the_o peace_n of_o the_o gospel_n as_o if_o christ_n shall_v say_v if_o there_o be_v any_o good_a in_o the_o gospel_n if_o i_o have_v purchase_v any_o good_a by_o my_o blood_n they_o shall_v have_v that_o good_a and_o that_o blessing_n now_o to_o open_v what_o the_o benefit_n and_o blessing_n of_o the_o peace_n of_o the_o gospel_n be_v i_o confess_v will_v be_v a_o large_a argument_n and_o because_o i_o have_v elsewhere_o open_v the_o doctrine_n of_o reconciliation_n the_o doctrine_n of_o the_o peace_n of_o the_o gospel_n i_o shall_v for_o the_o present_a here_o pass_v very_o brief_o over_o it_o and_o give_v you_o a_o little_a of_o the_o substance_n of_o it_o and_o then_o pass_v as_o soon_o as_o i_o can_v to_o the_o second_o point_n where_o we_o shall_v spend_v the_o great_a part_n of_o the_o time_n your_o peace_n shall_v be_v upon_o it_o what_o be_v that_o you_o shall_v have_v the_o peace_n of_o the_o gospel_n o_o this_o be_v a_o inestimable_a blessing_n indeed_o for_o the_o peace_n of_o the_o gospel_n it_o be_v first_o peace_n with_o god_n himself_o whereas_o if_o they_o do_v understand_v themselves_o and_o know_v god_n they_o will_v know_v that_o they_o be_v enemy_n unto_o god_n and_o that_o the_o wrath_n of_o the_o eternal_a god_n be_v out_o against_o they_o but_o if_o they_o come_v but_o to_o entertain_v your_o message_n they_o shall_v be_v reconcile_v unto_o this_o infinite_a god_n the_o wrath_n of_o the_o infinite_a god_n shall_v be_v turn_v quite_o away_o from_o they_o so_o as_o they_o shall_v never_o be_v in_o danger_n of_o any_o one_o spark_n of_o the_o wrath_n of_o god_n to_o come_v out_o against_o they_o there_o shall_v be_v this_o peace_n whereas_o before_o they_o be_v in_o such_o a_o condition_n as_o if_o they_o know_v themselves_o and_o god_n the_o presence_n of_o god_n will_v be_v terrible_a unto_o they_o but_o if_o they_o entertain_v your_o message_n they_o shall_v come_v to_o be_v able_a to_o look_v upon_o that_o god_n that_o be_v a_o infinite_a provoke_v deity_n as_o a_o friend_n they_o shall_v look_v upon_o his_o face_n with_o joy_n they_o shall_v have_v free_a access_n unto_o his_o presence_n as_o child_n unto_o the_o presence_n of_o their_o father_n whereas_o before_o they_o have_v cause_n to_o fear_v every_o moment_n some_o dreadful_a fruit_n of_o the_o wrath_n of_o god_n to_o pursue_v and_o sink_v they_o but_o now_o whatsoever_o
o_o the_o lord_n the_o lord_n forbid_v but_o let_v i_o the_o rather_o embrace_v it_o by_o how_o much_o the_o more_o it_o be_v neglect_v and_o disregard_v by_o other_o what_o shall_v such_o a_o glorious_a gospel_n be_v preach_v in_o vain_a what_o shall_v the_o precious_a blood_n of_o jesus_n christ_n be_v shed_v in_o vain_a and_o it_o be_v in_o vain_a in_o respect_n of_o many_o soul_n and_o shall_v it_o be_v in_o respect_n of_o my_o soul_n the_o lord_n forbid_v o_o that_o the_o lord_n will_v put_v such_o kind_n of_o thought_n into_o your_o heart_n when_o you_o see_v other_o live_v under_o the_o ministry_n of_o the_o gospel_n in_o a_o sinful_a way_n and_o thus_o much_o for_o this_o supposition_n if_o not_o what_o follow_v if_o not_o let_v it_o return_v to_o you_o again_o here_o we_o have_v first_o a_o encouragement_n to_o god_n minister_n in_o case_n their_o ministry_n be_v reject_v and_o second_o a_o dreadful_a denunciation_n against_o those_o that_o shall_v reject_v the_o gospel_n first_o the_o encouragement_n of_o the_o minister_n of_o god_n in_o case_n their_o ministry_n be_v reject_v let_v it_o return_v to_o you_o again_o in_o this_o we_o have_v these_o two_o thing_n first_o that_o when_o any_o minister_n preach_v christ_n to_o a_o people_n if_o the_o people_n get_v no_o good_a by_o his_o preach_v yet_o he_o shall_v have_v the_o benefit_n of_o it_o upon_o his_o own_o soul_n that_o be_v the_o first_o let_v it_o return_v to_o you_o again_o if_o they_o will_v not_o embrace_v it_o so_o as_o to_o have_v the_o good_a and_o benefit_n of_o it_o to_o they_o it_o shall_v return_v to_o you_o and_o you_o shall_v have_v the_o benefit_n and_o blessing_n of_o it_o upon_o your_o own_o soul_n second_o let_v it_o return_v that_o be_v though_o it_o prevail_v not_o they_o shall_v not_o lose_v by_o it_o they_o shall_v have_v the_o blessing_n of_o their_o ministry_n in_o isai_n 49._o 4._o then_o i_o say_v i_o have_v labour_v in_o vain_a i_o have_v spend_v my_o strength_n for_o nought_o and_o in_o vain_a here_o be_v a_o dreadful_a complaint_n but_o mark_v what_o follow_v yet_o sure_o my_o judgement_n be_v with_o the_o lord_n and_o my_o work_n with_o my_o god_n there_o be_v a_o correct_v of_o himself_o as_o it_o be_v as_o if_o he_o shall_v say_v what_o do_v i_o say_v it_o be_v in_o vain_a that_o i_o have_v spend_v my_o strength_n in_o vain_a to_o no_o purpose_n that_o i_o have_v get_v nothing_o by_o what_o i_o have_v do_v no_o let_v i_o correct_v myself_o sure_o my_o judgement_n be_v with_o the_o lord_n and_o my_o work_n with_o my_o god_n i_o shall_v not_o lose_v my_o labour_n though_o i_o do_v no_o good_a upon_o people_n yet_o i_o shall_v not_o lose_v my_o labour_n the_o truth_n be_v even_o this_o complaint_n be_v not_o speak_v so_o much_o in_o the_o person_n of_o the_o prophet_n as_o of_o jesus_n christ_n it_o be_v a_o complaint_n of_o christ_n for_o it_o be_v apparent_a in_o the_o read_n of_o this_o chapter_n that_o it_o be_v prophetical_a of_o christ_n for_o it_o follow_v and_o now_o say_v the_o lord_n that_o form_v i_o from_o the_o womb_n to_o be_v his_o servant_n to_o bring_v jacob_n again_o to_o he_o though_o israel_n be_v not_o gather_v yet_o shall_v i_o be_v glorious_a in_o the_o eye_n of_o the_o lord_n and_o my_o god_n shall_v be_v my_o strength_n and_o he_o say_v it_o be_v a_o light_a thing_n that_o thou_o shall_v be_v my_o servant_n to_o raise_v up_o the_o tribe_n of_o jacob_n and_o to_o restore_v the_o preserve_v of_o israel_n i_o will_v also_o give_v you_o for_o a_o light_n to_o the_o gentile_n with_o the_o lord_n and_o his_o work_n with_o his_o god_n and_o further_o that_o though_o he_o do_v not_o prevail_v with_o some_o yet_o he_o shall_v with_o other_o he_o shall_v be_v give_v as_o a_o light_n to_o the_o gentile_n and_o likewise_o that_o place_n be_v well_o know_v in_o the_o 2_o cor._n 2._o 15_o 16._o for_o we_o be_v unto_o god_n a_o sweet_a savour_n of_o christ_n in_o they_o that_o be_v save_v i_o that_o be_v true_a but_o mark_v what_o follow_v and_o in_o they_o that_o perish_v a_o sweet_a savour_n of_o christ_n in_o they_o that_o be_v save_v and_o in_o they_o that_o perish_v as_o true_o in_o they_o that_o perish_v as_o in_o they_o that_o be_v save_v god_n minister_n be_v a_o sweet_a savour_n of_o christ_n therefore_o their_o labour_n be_v not_o in_o vain_a to_o we_o belong_v faithfulness_n we_o be_v to_o look_v to_o be_v faithful_a in_o our_o work_n but_o for_o the_o success_n that_o belong_v to_o god_n himself_o it_o be_v a_o note_n that_o bernard_n have_v on_o care_n of_o they_o but_o it_o be_v god_n work_n to_o cure_v they_o that_o be_v to_o be_v leave_v to_o god_n there_o be_v a_o question_n among_o divine_n whether_o a_o minister_n that_o convert_v many_o soul_n here_o by_o his_o ministry_n or_o another_o that_o be_v as_o faithful_a every_o whit_n as_o he_o and_o as_o painful_a and_o yet_o do_v not_o convert_v soul_n or_o but_o very_o few_o which_o of_o these_o shall_v have_v most_o glory_n in_o heaven_n whether_o the_o one_o or_o the_o other_o many_o think_v rather_o the_o second_o because_o the_o one_o have_v a_o great_a part_n of_o his_o comfort_n here_o and_o his_o encouragement_n the_o other_o go_v on_o in_o his_o painfulness_n and_o faithfulness_n though_o he_o have_v not_o such_o comfort_n and_o encouragement_n and_o indeed_o of_o all_o work_n it_o be_v the_o hard_a work_n for_o a_o man_n to_o go_v on_o comfortable_o in_o the_o work_n of_o the_o ministry_n without_o success_n there_o be_v no_o work_n so_o hard_o as_o that_o be_v what_o for_o a_o man_n to_o think_v o_o that_o the_o lord_n shall_v send_v i_o to_o a_o people_n to_o what_o end_n to_o preach_v the_o gospel_n indeed_o but_o to_o harden_v they_o but_o to_o aggravate_v their_o sin_n but_o so_o as_o their_o condemnation_n shall_v be_v increase_v o_o it_o be_v a_o dreadful_a thought_n unto_o the_o heart_n of_o a_o minister_n to_o think_v that_o he_o shall_v be_v send_v about_o such_o a_o task_n as_o this_o be_v jeremy_n be_v even_o weary_a and_o say_v he_o will_v preach_v no_o more_o in_o the_o name_n of_o the_o lord_n only_o the_o word_n of_o god_n be_v as_o fire_n in_o his_o bone_n and_o he_o
before_o the_o great_a god_n to_o answer_v for_o all_o unto_o the_o infinite_a justice_n and_o this_o the_o gospel_n will_v have_v deliver_v you_o from_o have_v you_o entertain_v it_o do_v it_o return_v from_o you_o why_o then_o you_o stand_v before_o the_o lord_n under_o the_o sentence_n of_o condemnation_n a_o condemn_a creature_n even_o to_o eternal_a death_n and_o this_o the_o gospel_n thou_o why_o then_o thou_o stand_v under_o the_o curse_n of_o the_o law_n and_o all_o those_o dreadful_a threaten_n that_o be_v write_v in_o the_o book_n of_o god_n they_o be_v all_o thy_o portion_n and_o this_o the_o gospel_n will_v have_v free_v thou_o from_o be_v the_o gospel_n return_v from_o thou_o then_o thou_o stand_v before_o god_n as_o a_o enemy_n unto_o he_o he_o look_v upon_o thou_o as_o one_o that_o be_v a_o enemy_n to_o he_o and_o thou_o can_v expect_v no_o other_o but_o to_o be_v deal_v withal_o as_o a_o enemy_n to_o have_v god_n in_o all_o his_o attribute_n to_o come_v out_o against_o thou_o to_o have_v all_o his_o creature_n to_o come_v out_o against_o thou_o to_o avenge_v god_n quarrel_n upon_o thou_o and_o this_o the_o gospel_n will_v have_v free_v thou_o from_o and_o so_o we_o may_v further_o name_v infinite_a evil_n no_o peace_n to_o the_o wicked_a no_o peace_n to_o those_o who_o be_v so_o wicked_a as_o to_o reject_v the_o glorious_a gospel_n and_o therefore_o thy_o case_n be_v dreadful_a second_o if_o the_o blessing_n of_o the_o gospel_n be_v return_v from_o thou_o then_o know_v thou_o have_v lose_v the_o most_o happy_a opportunity_n of_o good_a that_o ever_o creature_n have_v never_o can_v a_o creature_n be_v make_v capable_a of_o a_o happy_a opportunity_n of_o good_a than_o the_o creature_n have_v when_o jesus_n christ_n come_v to_o be_v preach_v to_o it_o here_o be_v the_o most_o bless_a opportunity_n of_o good_a i_o say_v that_o a_o creature_n can_v have_v to_o have_v jesus_n christ_n come_v to_o be_v offer_v to_o he_o now_o when_o the_o gospel_n be_v return_v thou_o have_v lose_v this_o opportunity_n of_o mercy_n the_o tender_a of_o salvation_n that_o be_v worth_a ten_o thousand_o thousand_o world_n such_o a_o opportunity_n as_o the_o devil_n and_o damn_a in_o hell_n will_v give_v 10000_o world_n to_o have_v it_o and_o yet_o that_o be_v come_v to_o thou_o and_o be_v go_v and_o lose_v and_o therefore_o it_o be_v a_o sad_a thing_n for_o the_o blessing_n of_o the_o gospel_n to_o return_v three_o if_o it_o do_v return_v from_o thou_o thou_o do_v not_o know_v whether_o it_o will_v ever_o return_v back_o again_o upon_o thou_o whether_o ever_o it_o will_v come_v any_o more_o when_o god_n offer_v grace_n and_o it_o be_v reject_v many_o time_n he_o do_v cause_n the_o offer_n to_o pass_v away_o and_o it_o never_o come_v more_o again_o thou_o may_v perhaps_o lie_v hereafter_o in_o the_o distress_n of_o thy_o conscience_n and_o think_v of_o former_a day_n that_o thou_o have_v and_o cry_v out_o o_o that_o i_o have_v such_o day_n again_o o_o that_o i_o have_v jesus_n christ_n preach_v to_o i_o again_o as_o i_o have_v at_o such_o a_o time_n o_o that_o i_o have_v such_o stir_n of_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n as_o i_o have_v at_o such_o a_o time_n but_o now_o no_o friend_n time_n be_v when_o thou_o have_v they_o and_o thou_o do_v reject_v they_o and_o therefore_o they_o be_v go_v and_o thousand_o of_o world_n will_v not_o purchase_v they_o again_o i_o do_v not_o now_o speak_v only_o of_o take_v away_o the_o ministry_n of_o it_o but_o of_o the_o blessing_n of_o the_o gospel_n perhaps_o thou_o may_v live_v under_o the_o ministry_n of_o it_o and_o yet_o the_o blessing_n of_o the_o gospel_n may_v be_v return_v four_o if_o the_o gospel_n come_v and_o return_v with_o the_o blessing_n of_o it_o thou_o be_v now_o in_o a_o far_o worse_a condition_n than_o any_o heathen_a whatsoever_o a_o heathen_a be_v not_o in_o so_o sad_a a_o condition_n some_o time_n you_o will_v speak_v in_o way_n of_o indignation_n what_o do_v you_o think_v i_o a_o heathen_a a_o turk_n thou_o be_v in_o a_o worse_a case_n than_o any_o heathen_a whatsoever_o because_o they_o never_o have_v the_o offer_n of_o jesus_n christ_n and_o the_o course_n of_o mercy_n have_v never_o come_v to_o they_o but_o to_o thou_o and_o leave_v thou_o there_o be_v hope_n before_o god_n make_v a_o trial_n as_o it_o be_v before_o mercy_n have_v as_o it_o be_v she_o turn_v upon_o the_o creature_n that_o it_o may_v belong_v to_o god_n election_n but_o now_o when_o mercy_n have_v have_v her_o turn_n and_o leave_v the_o soul_n than_o it_o be_v a_o sad_a condition_n it_o have_v not_o do_v so_o to_o the_o heathen_n and_o therefore_o it_o be_v worse_o with_o thou_o than_o with_o the_o heathen_n in_o that_o regard_n yea_o five_o hence_o follow_v christ_n out-bids_a the_o world_n and_o devil_n in_o offer_v unto_o sinner_n a_o great_a good_a than_o world_n or_o devil_n can_v possible_o bring_v unto_o they_o and_o indeed_o this_o offer_n of_o trouble_n that_o certain_o be_v over_o and_o therefore_o a_o strong_a argument_n here_o you_o have_v to_o entertain_v this_o bless_a gospel_n that_o be_v send_v among_o you_o when_o you_o hear_v it_o member_n of_o a_o commonwealth_n that_o shall_v not_o be_v willing_a to_o lay_v down_o their_o life_n in_o such_o time_n as_o these_o to_o purchase_v a_o sure_a and_o firm_a peace_n but_o now_o here_o the_o gospel_n preach_v to_o you_o another_o manner_n of_o blessing_n than_o this_o outward_a peace_n the_o gospel_n hold_v forth_o unto_o you_o that_o peace_n that_o be_v purchase_v to_o you_o by_o order_n but_o to_o be_v appoint_v by_o god_n to_o be_v a_o instrument_n of_o soul-good_a of_o eternal_a good_a this_o be_v a_o high_a privilege_n that_o god_n do_v grant_v in_o his_o mercy_n to_o this_o pearl_n that_o be_v thus_o first_o you_o must_v actual_o lay_v down_o and_o renounce_v every_o belove_a sin_n second_o you_o must_v enter_v into_o bond_n as_o it_o be_v with_o god_n that_o whensoever_o he_o call_v for_o your_o estate_n your_o liberty_n your_o outward_a peace_n and_o comfort_n that_o you_o have_v in_o the_o world_n shall_v be_v at_o god_n dispose_n thus_o you_o enter_v
