maintain_v the_o truth_n for_o every_o one_o in_o his_o proportion_n and_o degree_n to_o this_o end_n be_v bear_v and_o come_v into_o the_o world_n that_o he_o after_o the_o example_n of_o his_o saviour_n shall_v bear_v witness_n to_o the_o truth_n and_o so_o i_o come_v to_o the_o nativity_n itself_o christ_n come_v into_o the_o world_n come_v into_o the_o world_n we_o read_v in_o scripture_n of_o a_o threefold_a come_n of_o christ_n 1._o imperious_o to_o give_v the_o law_n 2._o gracious_o to_o give_v the_o gospel_n 3._o glorious_o when_o he_o shall_v come_v to_o judge_v the_o quick_a and_o the_o dead_a the_o first_o be_v to_o the_o world_n the_o second_o in_o the_o world_n and_o the_o three_o will_v be_v at_o the_o end_n of_o the_o world_n in_o the_o first_o he_o come_v as_o a_o god_n in_o the_o second_o as_o a_o saviour_n in_o the_o three_o he_o will_v come_v like_o a_o judge_n to_o require_v a_o account_n of_o every_o man_n for_o every_o particular_a action_n whether_o it_o be_v good_a or_o whether_o it_o be_v evil_a his_o first_o come_v under_o the_o law_n in_o levitical_a type_n be_v not_o here_o intend_v but_o the_o come_v mention_v in_o this_o place_n be_v his_o second_o come_v when_o he_o come_v as_o a_o saviour_n to_o give_v the_o gospel_n christ_n jesus_n who_o be_v god-man_n thus_o come_v into_o the_o world_n and_o because_o as_o god_n he_o be_v omnipresent_v some_o will_v have_v his_o presence_n in_o every_o place_n and_o his_o be_v in_o every_o thing_n it_o be_v true_a he_o be_v with_o we_o before_o he_o come_v to_o we_o but_o that_o god_n that_o be_v omnipresent_v and_o fill_v all_o place_n yet_o have_v divers_a tranmsission_n in_o scripture_n heaven_n be_v his_o place_n or_o throne_n of_o glory_n and_o earth_n his_o footstool_n but_o he_o be_v say_v to_o come_v to_o we_o when_o he_o manifest_v himself_o to_o we_o after_o a_o new_a manner_n and_o this_o come_n of_o his_o be_v by_o a_o act_n of_o new_a mercy_n he_o that_o be_v all_o can_v not_o be_v frustrate_v and_o the_o prophet_n can_v not_o be_v mistake_v he_o be_v give_v to_o we_o in_o the_o gospel_n and_o marry_v to_o we_o by_o his_o spirit_n have_v assume_v our_o flesh_n in_o the_o bless_a virgin_n and_o that_o he_o shall_v thus_o come_v to_o we_o be_v great_a humility_n from_o sit_v in_o heaven_n and_o hear_v the_o choir_n of_o angel_n sing_v his_o praise_n work_v wonder_n in_o heaven_n and_o in_o earth_n etc._n etc._n yet_o he_o forsake_v all_o this_o to_o find_v we_o out_o who_o be_v roll_v in_o clay_n for_o when_o he_o come_v to_o glorify_v our_o nature_n have_v he_o come_v in_o the_o form_n of_o a_o angel_n that_o have_v be_v condescension_n or_o but_o to_o our_o flesh_n or_o have_v he_o but_o come_v to_o the_o circumcision_n of_o his_o flesh_n that_o have_v be_v a_o large_a extent_n of_o his_o love_n for_o his_o circumcision_n be_v no_o other_o than_o the_o shed_n of_o his_o most_o precious_a blood_n one_o drop_n whereof_o will_v have_v be_v truth_n be_v erroneous_a whether_o it_o be_v in_o understanding_n or_o conversation_n for_o those_o teacher_n that_o be_v already_o go_v astray_o and_o by_o break_v god_n command_n teach_v other_o so_o to_o do_v be_v chief_o erroneous_a however_o they_o may_v think_v to_o pacify_v the_o world_n only_o with_o a_o bare_a pretence_n to_o the_o truth_n and_o call_v the_o wisdom_n that_o be_v above_o their_o father_n thereby_o intend_v to_o deceive_v the_o simple_a with_o a_o show_n of_o relation_n unto_o almighty_a god_n while_o indeed_o they_o be_v the_o servant_n of_o the_o devil_n for_o they_o know_v that_o if_o error_n shall_v come_v in_o its_o proper_a shape_n it_o will_v be_v loathsome_a to_o every_o eye_n but_o now_o that_o it_o come_v in_o the_o name_n and_o semblance_n of_o truth_n they_o think_v none_o will_v refuse_v it_o for_o many_o say_v our_o saviour_n shall_v come_v in_o my_o name_n say_v i_o be_o christ_n and_o shall_v deceive_v many_o saint_n mat._n 24.5_o holy_a scripture_n they_o must_v be_v answer_v by_o its_o own_o spirit_n and_o not_o another_o but_o as_o we_o must_v defend_v truth_n with_o our_o tongue_n so_o second_o practical_o by_o our_o word_n and_o work_n when_o the_o doctrine_n of_o christianity_n be_v that_o way_n of_o truth_n which_o be_v evil_o speak_v of_o and_o when_o man_n in_o profession_n be_v christian_n but_o in_o conversation_n be_v pagan_n and_o papist_n etc._n etc._n ro._n 2.24_o and_o st._n jam._n 2.7_o and_o when_o that_o truth_n be_v disgrace_v by_o the_o bad_a life_n of_o man_n their_o sin_n become_v we_o if_o we_o rebuke_v they_o not_o therefore_o saint_n paul_n say_v have_v no_o fellowship_n with_o the_o unfruitful_a work_n of_o darkness_n but_o rather_o reprove_v they_o ephes_n 5.11_o that_o tongue_n which_o
