bloodshedding_n four_o this_o holy_a prophet_n joel_n do_v levely_a express_v the_o manner_n of_o this_o our_o return_v or_o repentance_n comprehend_v all_o the_o inward_a and_o outward_a return_v thing_n that_o may_v be_v here_o observe_v first_o he_o will_v have_v we_o to_o return_v unto_o god_n with_o our_o whole_a heart_n whereby_o he_o do_v remove_v and_o put_v away_o all_o hypocrisy_n lest_o the_o same_o may_v just_o be_v say_v unto_o we_o this_o people_n draw_v near_o unto_o xv_o i_o with_o their_o mouth_n and_o worship_v i_o with_o their_o lip_n but_o their_o heart_n be_v far_o of_o from_o i_o second_o he_o require_v a_o sincere_a &_o pure_a love_n of_o godliness_n &_o of_o the_o true_a worship_v and_o service_n of_o god_n that_o be_v to_o say_v that_o forsake_v all_o manner_n of_o thing_n that_o be_v repugnant_a and_o contrary_a unto_o god_n will_n we_o do_v geve_v our_o heart_n unto_o he_o and_o all_o the_o whole_a strength_n of_o our_o body_n and_o soul_n according_a to_o that_o which_o be_v write_v in_o the_o law_n thou_o shall_v love_v the_o lord_n thy_o god_n with_o all_o thy_o 6._o heart_n with_o all_o thy_o soul_n &_o with_o all_o thy_o strength_n profession_n of_o repentance_n which_o be_v very_o needful_a &_o necessary_a that_o so_o we_o may_v partly_o set_v forth_o the_o righteousness_n of_o god_n when_o by_o such_o mean_v we_o do_v testify_v that_o we_o deserve_v punishment_n at_o his_o hand_n and_o partly_o stop_v the_o offence_n that_o be_v open_o give_v unto_o the_o weak_a this_o do_v david_n see_v who_o be_v not_o content_a sin_n and_o be_v at_o defiance_n with_o they_o return_v unto_o the_o lord_n their_o god_n from_o who_o they_o go_v away_o before_o for_o god_n have_v no_o pleasure_n in_o the_o outward_a ceremony_n but_o require_v a_o contrite_a and_o humble_a heart_n which_o 51._o he_o will_v never_o despise_v as_o david_n do_v testify_v there_o be_v therefore_o none_o other_o use_n to_o these_o outward_a ceremony_n but_o as_o far_o forth_o as_o we_o be_v stir_v up_o by_o they_o and_o do_v serve_v to_o the_o glory_n of_o god_n and_o to_o the_o edify_n of_o other_o now_o do_v he_o add_v unto_o this_o doctrine_n or_o exhortation_n unprostâ—able_n certain_a godly_a reason_n which_o he_o do_v ground_n upon_o the_o nature_n and_o property_n of_o god_n and_o whereby_o he_o do_v teach_v that_o true_a
