and_o delight_n if_o he_o believe_v those_o thing_n which_o be_v here_o speak_v for_o when_o worldly_a wealth_n and_o terrene_a treasure_n be_v compare_v to_o these_o thing_n it_o appear_v straight_o how_o those_o thing_n of_o the_o world_n endure_v but_o a_o small_a time_n and_o do_v soon_o pass_v away_o but_o these_o thing_n continue_v for_o ever_o and_o do_v never_o fail_v nor_o fade_v moreover_o all_o the_o thing_n of_o the_o world_n be_v unpure_a and_o do_v defile_v we_o for_o there_o be_v no_o man_n here_o so_o godly_a but_o in_o one_o respect_n or_o other_o he_o be_v carry_v away_o and_o defile_v with_o the_o vanity_n and_o pleasant_a thing_n of_o this_o life_n but_o this_o inheritance_n be_v undefiled_a and_o pure_a and_o he_o that_o possess_v the_o same_o remain_v for_o thing_n here_o speak_v of_o be_v otherwise_o whereof_o there_o be_v not_o satiety_n for_o ever_o all_o which_o we_o obtain_v in_o christ_n through_o the_o mercy_n of_o god_n when_o we_o firm_o believe_v that_o they_o be_v free_o give_v unto_o us._n for_o how_o shall_v we_o miserable_a man_n by_o our_o own_o work_n merit_v those_o so_o great_a good_a thing_n which_o no_o reason_n or_o understanding_n of_o man_n be_v able_a so_o much_o as_o to_o comprehend_v or_o by_o imagination_n of_o heart_n once_o to_o conceive_v reserve_v in_o heaven_n for_o you_o this_o inheritance_n immortal_a undefiled_a and_o that_o fade_v not_o away_o be_v undoubted_o we_o it_o be_v only_o for_o a_o little_a while_n remove_v and_o keep_v from_o our_o sight_n until_o these_o eye_n be_v close_v up_o and_o this_o mortal_a life_n end_v then_o shall_v we_o certain_o find_v and_o see_v the_o same_o unless_o we_o be_v unbelieve_v and_o because_o we_o shall_v not_o doubt_n of_o the_o certainty_n only_o do_v justify_v without_o work_v do_v by_o and_o by_o burst_v forth_o and_o say_v we_o also_o do_v believe_v think_n that_o that_o bare_a opinion_n which_o they_o feign_v unto_o theim selue_o be_v right_a faith_n we_o have_v already_o teach_v and_o that_o out_o of_o the_o scripture_n that_o it_o be_v not_o in_o our_o power_n to_o do_v even_o the_o least_o good_a work_n that_o be_v without_o the_o especial_a assistance_n of_o god_n spirit_n how_o then_o shall_v we_o by_o our_o own_o strength_n arrogate_v that_o which_o of_o all_o other_o be_v most_o excellent_a namely_o to_o believe_v these_o cogitation_n therefore_o be_v a_o mere_a dream_n
that_o be_v in_o thou_o or_o if_o thou_o shall_v have_v nothing_o to_o say_v but_o that_o thou_o believe_v and_o will_v believe_v as_o the_o council_n as_o the_o pope_n and_o as_o thy_o forefather_n have_v beleve_v for_o the_o devil_n will_v by_o and_o by_o reply_n against_o thou_o and_o say_v what_o if_o they_o have_v err_v whereby_o he_o will_v drive_v thou_o to_o have_v never_o a_o word_n to_o say_v and_o so_o hale_v and_o draw_v thou_o into_o helle._n and_o therefore_o it_o stand_v we_o upon_o to_o be_v certain_o persuade_v and_o ground_v in_o those_o thing_n which_o we_o believe_v namely_o that_o the_o word_n of_o god_n be_v not_o that_o which_o the_o pope_n or_o which_o our_o holy_a father_n do_v either_o believe_v or_o say_v for_o we_o must_v not_o depend_v upon_o nor_o trust_v unto_o any_o person_n whatsoever_o but_o only_o upon_o the_o very_a express_a and_o only_a word_n of_o god_n and_o therefore_o when_o thou_o be_v rebuke_v reprehend_v or_o as_o though_o thou_o be_v a_o heretic_n demand_v any_o question_n concern_v thy_o faith_n or_o why_o thou_o believe_v that_o by_o faith_n only_o thou_o shall_v be_v save_v let_v thy_o answer_n be_v thus_o because_o i_o have_v the_o express_a worde_n of_o god_n for_o my_o warrant_v and_o evident_a text_n of_o the_o scripture_n that_o so_o teach_v i_o as_o namely_o saint_n paul_n rom._n i_o the_o just_a shall_v live_v by_o his_o faith_n and_o again_o the_o word_n afore_o allege_a by_o saint_n peter_n out_o of_o esaie_n chap._n xxviij_o as_o touch_v the_o lively_a stone_n christ_n where_o he_o say_v he_o that_o decree_v for_o if_o he_o bring_v not_o the_o sincere_a and_o true_a word_n of_o god_n wherewith_o to_o direct_v and_o persuade_v i_o i_o will_v neither_o hear_v he_o nor_o believe_v he_o peradventure_o thou_o will_v say_v all_o thing_n be_v now_o so_o perplex_v and_o so_o intricate_a that_o no_o man_n certain_o know_v what_o to_o believe_v and_o therefore_o we_o must_v stay_v till_o such_o time_n as_o it_o be_v conclude_v what_o we_o must_v observe_v and_o what_o we_o must_v follow_v i_o say_v again_o that_o if_o thou_o dwell_v upon_o that_o point_n thou_o shall_v in_o the_o mean_a season_n go_v straight_o to_o the_o devil_n for_o when_o thou_o be_v come_v to_o the_o last_o pinch_n of_o life_n and_o see_v thou_o must_v die_v and_o yet_o know_v not_o what_o thou_o be_v bind_v to_o believe_v then_o can_v thou_o neither_o be_v holpen_v and_o relieve_v by_o i_o nor_o yet_o by_o any_o other_o and_o therefore_o it_o behoove_v thou_o to_o know_v perfect_o what_o thou_o be_v to_o believe_v and_o not_o herein_o to_o depend_v upon_o the_o determination_n and_o appoinctment_n of_o any_o other_o man_n but_o firm_o and_o steadfast_o to_o cleave_v unto_o the_o word_n of_o teach_v the_o doctrine_n of_o deville_n forbid_v to_o marry_v and_o command_v to_o abstain_v from_o meat_n which_o god_n have_v create_v to_o be_v receive_v with_o thanksgive_v of_o they_o which_o believe_v and_o know_v the_o truth_n etc._n etc._n these_o thing_n have_v the_o pope_n forbid_v which_o be_v so_o general_o well_o know_v that_o none_o can_v deny_v it_o and_o therefore_o he_o be_v antichrist_n for_o what_o soever_o christ_n either_o teach_v or_o command_v against_o that_o he_o both_o kick_v and_o endevour_v all_o that_o ever_o he_o can_v each_o way_n to_o infringe_v it_o and_o to_o establish_v the_o contrary_n that_o which_o christ_n have_v leave_v free_a the_o pope_n bind_v and_o that_o which_o christ_n plain_o say_v not_o to_o be_v sin_n that_o do_v the_o pope_n affirm_v to_o be_v sinne._n after_o this_o sort_n therefore_o thou_o must_v learn_v to_o yield_v a_o reason_n of_o thy_o faith_n for_o of_o this_o be_v assure_v that_o a_o reason_n thereof_o thou_o must_v yield_v if_o not_o in_o this_o life_n doubtless_o in_o the_o time_n of_o thy_o death_n thou_o shake_v be_v charge_v there_o with_o thy_o enemy_n the_o devil_n will_v be_v ready_a at_o thy_o elbow_n to_o say_v why_o haste_v thou_o call_v the_o pope_n antichrist_n now_o if_o thou_o be_v not_o full_o furnish_v with_o sufficient_a reason_n to_o yield_v unto_o he_o the_o cause_n why_o thou_o do_v christ_n shall_v suffer_v and_o die_v and_o when_o this_o or_o that_o thing_n shall_v come_v to_o pass_v so_o they_o have_v a_o undoubted_a prophecy_n that_o the_o kingdom_n of_o the_o jew_n shall_v cease_v before_o christ_n do_v come_v but_o the_o day_n and_o certain_a time_n when_o the_o same_o shall_v be_v fulfil_v be_v not_o express_v forasmuch_o as_o it_o be_v sufficient_a to_o know_v that_o
