end_n we_o may_v learn_v that_o god_n be_v no_o otherwise_o manifest_v unto_o we_o but_o in_o christ_n for_o so_o infinite_a be_v that_o brightness_n which_o be_v in_o the_o essence_n of_o god_n that_o our_o eye_n be_v dazzle_v therewith_o till_o such_o time_n as_o he_o shine_v unto_o we_o in_o christ_n whereof_o it_o follow_v that_o unless_o god_n show_v we_o his_o brightness_n in_o christ_n and_o the_o greek_a word_n which_o be_v translate_v image_n signify_v a_o lively_a form_n of_o that_o substance_n which_o be_v hide_v and_o invisible_a by_o the_o first_o word_n than_o we_o learn_v that_o out_o of_o christ_n we_o can_v find_v no_o light_n but_o rather_o mere_a darkness_n for_o although_o god_n be_v the_o only_a light_n wherewith_o we_o must_v be_v enlighten_v yet_o there_o be_v no_o other_o mean_n whereby_o he_o shed_v the_o same_o into_o we_o but_o by_o this_o splendancie_n of_o his_o son_n if_o i_o may_v so_o speak_v by_o the_o second_o word_n we_o be_v admonish_v that_o god_n be_v true_o and_o full_o know_v in_o christ_n for_o he_o be_v no_o dark_a or_o shadowish_a image_n of_o he_o but_o the_o lively_a ingrave_v form_n resemble_v he_o natural_o as_o the_o money_n resemble_v the_o stamp_n of_o the_o coin_n wherewithal_o it_o be_v stamp_v nay_o the_o apostle_n say_v more_o to_o wit_n that_o the_o substance_n of_o the_o father_n be_v as_o it_o be_v engrave_v in_o christ_n the_o greek_a word_n which_o i_o have_v translate_v substance_n therein_o follow_v other_o in_o my_o opinion_n signify_v not_o the_o be_v or_o essence_n of_o
and_o that_o the_o promise_n which_o he_o publish_v be_v not_o receive_v as_o a_o thing_n of_o any_o certainty_n yet_o to_o the_o end_n the_o infidelity_n and_o obstinacy_n of_o the_o people_n shall_v be_v no_o discouragement_n unto_o he_o the_o lord_n command_v he_o to_o seal_v up_o that_o doctrine_n which_o he_o have_v teach_v among_o a_o very_a few_o of_o the_o faithful_a and_o it_o be_v as_o world_n and_o that_o he_o esteem_v nothing_o of_o all_o that_o which_o be_v precious_a in_o it_o but_o because_o he_o ascend_v into_o heaven_n by_o faith_n
care_n for_o earthly_a thing_n riches_n honour_n and_o all_o such_o thing_n of_o these_o kind_n whosoever_o then_o will_v run_v in_o this_o race_n of_o christ_n let_v he_o before_o all_o thing_n cause_n i_o do_v not_o much_o gainsay_v he_o and_o so_o the_o sense_n will_v be_v that_o christ_n refuse_v not_o the_o death_n of_o the_o cross_n because_o he_o see_v the_o issue_n will_v be_v bless_v and_o happy_a yet_o notwithstanding_o for_o my_o own_o part_n i_o incline_v to_o the_o first_o sense_n now_o he_o commend_v the_o patience_n of_o christ_n for_o two_o cause_n first_o in_o respect_n that_o he_o endure_v a_o most_o bitter_a and_o sharp_a death_n second_o in_o regard_n that_o he_o despise_v the_o shame_n and_o ignominy_n of_o it_o and_o afterward_o he_o recite_v the_o glorious_a angry_a judge_n against_o the_o reprobate_n as_o oft_o as_o he_o punish_v they_o yet_o he_o respect_v none_o other_o end_n in_o correct_v his_o choose_a salvation_n god_n have_v no_o other_o end_n in_o afflict_v the_o elect_a but_o thereby_o to_o provide_v for_o their_o salvation_n but_o thereby_o to_o provide_v for_o their_o salvation_n which_o undoubted_o be_v a_o sign_n of_o his_o fatherly_a good_a will_n moreover_o because_o the_o reprobate_n know_v not_o that_o they_o be_v govern_v by_o the_o hand_n of_o god_n they_o therefore_o think_v most_o a_o end_n that_o they_o
