justification_n or_o remission_n of_o sin_n and_o sanctification_n as_o distinct_a thing_n but_o not_o as_o the_o doctor_n will_v have_v it_o expound_v of_o reconciliation_n or_o remission_n and_o of_o justification_n through_o the_o imputation_n of_o christ_n righteousness_n 2._o remission_n of_o sin_n be_v no_o more_o the_o proper_a fruit_n of_o christ_n death_n as_o the_o doctor_n say_v than_o be_v our_o justification_n for_o as_o the_o apostle_n somewhere_o say_v we_o have_v redemption_n through_o his_o blood_n even_o the_o forgiveness_n of_o our_o sin_n so_o he_o do_v elsewhere_o say_v we_o be_v justify_v by_o his_o blood_n rom._n 5.9_o i_o doubt_v not_o to_o say_v it_o be_v a_o great_a mistake_n in_o this_o doctor_n as_o in_o many_o other_o to_o assign_v our_o reconciliation_n or_o remission_n of_o sin_n and_o our_o justification_n to_o several_a distinct_a cause_n the_o former_a to_o christ_n passive_a obedience_n his_o death_n the_o other_o to_o his_o self_n same_o thing_n in_o effect_n as_o be_v aforesaid_a 2._o be_v the_o same_o thing_n in_o effect_n although_o they_o be_v express_v by_o divers_a name_n yet_o they_o be_v whole_o to_o be_v ascribe_v to_o the_o whole_a obedience_n of_o christ_n both_o of_o his_o life_n and_o death_n as_o joint_o constitute_v the_o meritorious_a cause_n thereof_o so_o that_o neither_o be_v remission_n of_o sin_n to_o be_v more_o say_v to_o be_v the_o proper_a fruit_n of_o christ_n death_n than_o justification_n nor_o justification_n more_o proper_o
