themselves_o herein_o as_o it_o be_v minister_n to_o 〈◊〉_d as_o to_o the_o 〈…〉_o and_o understand_v hereof_o and_o that_o we_o may_v learn_v the_o same_o of_o they_o as_o of_o our_o master_n and_o thus_o have_v we_o a_o sure_a help_n and_o strengthening_n of_o our_o faith_n for_o our_o further_a and_o better_a instruction_n whereby_o we_o may_v be_v able_a to_o defend_v ourselves_o against_o all_o false_a doctrine_n which_o thing_n the_o angel_n desire_v to_o behold_v so_o great_a thing_n have_v the_o apostle_n delare_v unto_o we_o by_o the_o holy_a ghost_n which_o come_v down_o upon_o they_o from_o heaven_n that_o even_o the_o very_a angel_n do_v desire_v to_o behold_v and_o see_v they_o here_o we_o must_v with_o great_a attention_n shut_v our_o eye_n and_o see_v what_o the_o gospel_n be_v wherein_o sure_o we_o can_v not_o but_o have_v exceed_a delight_n joy_n and_o consolation_n we_o can_v not_o yet_o see_v these_o thing_n with_o our_o bodily_a eye_n but_o we_o must_v believe_v that_o we_o be_v make_v partaker_n of_o righteousness_n truth_n salvation_n and_o of_o all_o good_a thing_n which_o god_n have_v for_o inasmuche_o as_o he_o have_v give_v unto_o we_o christ_n his_o only_o beget_v son_n the_o fountain_n and_o head_n of_o all_o good_a thing_n how_o shall_v he_o not_o through_o and_o with_o he_o give_v we_o also_o all_o his_o good_a thing_n riches_n and_o treasure_n whereat_o the_o angel_n in_o heaven_n do_v take_v marvellous_a joy_n and_o delight_n all_o these_o thing_n be_v offer_v unto_o we_o by_o the_o gospel_n so_o that_o if_o we_o believe_v we_o must_v needs_o likewise_o take_v marvellous_a delight_n and_o pleasure_n therein_o howbeit_o our_o delight_n and_o pleasure_n while_o we_o live_v on_o the_o earth_n can_v not_o be_v so_o hope_n trust_v and_o confidence_n in_o he_o must_v needs_o be_v excedyng_o cheer_v and_o make_v joyful_a and_o therefore_o it_o be_v that_o he_o say_v unto_o you_o which_o believe_v on_o he_o he_o be_v precious_a that_o be_v to_o say_v he_o be_v of_o you_o high_o esteem_v for_o although_o he_o be_v never_o so_o precious_a and_o excellent_a of_o himself_o and_o by_o himself_o yet_o will_v that_o without_o more_o nothing_o at_o all_o avail_n we_o and_o therefore_o it_o behoove_v that_o he_o must_v be_v precious_a unto_o we_o to_o the_o end_n it_o may_v enrich_v we_o with_o many_o singular_a good_a thing_n like_a unto_o some_o precious_a pearl_n or_o gem_n which_o keep_v and_o retain_v not_o his_o virtue_n to_o itself_o but_o utter_v and_o show_v it_o forth_o to_o other_o and_o so_o totallie_o manife_v he_o his_o whole_a power_n and_o virtue_n that_o we_o may_v now_o both_o enjoy_v and_o possess_v whatsoever_o thesame_n be_v but_o unto_o they_o which_o believe_v not_o this_o stone_n be_v nothing_o precious_a for_o they_o disallow_v and_o cast_v it_o away_o and_o take_v offence_n and_o stumble_v at_o it_o whereby_o it_o fall_v out_o that_o they_o repose_v no_o assurance_n or_o trust_n in_o it_o and_o so_o unto_o they_o it_o turn_v unto_o a_o great_a detriment_n and_o make_v they_o worse_o albeit_o the_o same_o of_o his_o own_o nature_n be_v wont_v rather_o to_o stir_v up_o in_o man_n a_o more_o strong_a hope_n and_o perfect_a trust_n they_o that_o thus_o stumble_v be_v not_o only_o such_o as_o be_v chain_v and_o clog_v in_o those_o gross_a and_o manifest_a sin_n but_o such_o hypocrite_n rather_o which_o hear_v themselves_o bold_a upon_o their_o vizured_a sanctimony_n and_o feign_a holiness_n which_o trust_v unto_o their_o own_o freewill_n to_o their_o own_o work_n &_o their_o own_o righteousness_n these_o fellow_n can_v not_o choose_v but_o stumble_v and_o be_v offend_v at_o this_o stone_n here_o now_o do_v god_n definitive_o set_v it_o down_o that_o they_o which_o come_v without_o work_n must_v come_v by_o faith_n only_o for_o their_o righteousness_n and_o that_o they_o which_o come_v otherwise_o then_o by_o faith_n shall_v never_o speed_v of_o their_o purpose_n because_o they_o go_v about_o as_o saint_n peter_n say_v rom._n x._o to_o establish_v their_o salvation_n by_o their_o own_o righteousness_n and_o therefore_o say_v saint_n peter_n and_o let_v he_o be_v your_o dread_n and_o he_o shall_v be_v to_o you_o as_o a_o sanctuary_n but_o a_o stumble_a stone_n and_o as_o a_o rock_n to_o fall_v upon_o to_o both_o the_o house_n of_o israel_n the_o meaning_n of_o the_o prophet_n be_v as_o though_o he_o shall_v say_v the_o lord_n shall_v be_v unto_o you_o a_o sanctification_n that_o be_v he_o ought_v to_o be_v sanctify_v in_o your_o heart_n other_o sanctification_n you_o need_v none_o neither_o be_v there_o any_o other_o thing_n require_v of_o you_o but_o that_o you_o believe_v in_o he_o to_o all_o other_o he_o shall_v prophesy_v also_o of_o other_o matter_n to_o come_v yet_o they_o come_v and_o be_v send_v of_o god_n peculiar_o to_o this_o end_n and_o purpose_n to_o preach_v and_o foretell_v of_o christ_n all_o they_o that_o believe_v in_o christ_n be_v prophet_n for_o they_o have_v the_o chief_a head_n of_o that_o thing_n which_o prophet_n ought_v to_o have_v although_o all_o of_o they_o have_v not_o the_o gift_n of_o propheci_v for_o even_o as_o through_o the_o faith_n of_o one_o jesus_n christ_n we_o be_v all_o brother_n king_n and_o priest_n so_o also_o through_o christ_n we_o be_v prophet_n for_o we_o can_v all_o utter_v and_o declare_v those_o thing_n that_o appertain_v to_o the_o glory_n of_o god_n and_o christian_a life_n we_o also_o so_o far_o as_o be_v needful_a and_o expedient_a for_o we_o can_v foretell_v of_o thing_n to_o come_v as_o that_o there_o shall_v be_v a_o day_n of_o general_a judgement_n and_o that_o we_o shall_v all_o rise_v again_o from_o the_o dead_a and_o final_o we_o understande_v the_o whole_a scripture_n this_o witness_v s._n paul_n sai_v you_o may_v all_o prophecy_n one_o by_o one_o i_o cor._n fourteen_o therefore_o say_v s._n peter_n thus_o we_o have_v nothing_o but_o mere_a error_n and_o blindness_n the_o world_n be_v nothing_o else_o but_o a_o kingdom_n of_o darkness_n in_o this_o darkness_n god_n lighten_v we_o with_o his_o candle_n to_o wit_n his_o glorious_a gospel_n which_o direct_v our_o step_n aright_o that_o we_o may_v see_v which_o way_n to_o go_v and_o walk_v in_o this_o world_n till_o such_o time_n as_o the_o morning_n appear_v and_o the_o day_n dawn_n this_o place_n do_v also_o main_o oppugn_v and_o beat_v down_o all_o the_o foolish_a trompery_n of_o human_a doctrine_n for_o sing_v that_o the_o word_n of_o god_n be_v the_o candle_n and_o lantern_n that_o give_v light_a in_o dark_a corner_n and_o obscure_a place_n we_o must_v necessary_o thereupon_o conclude_v that_o all_o other_o thing_n be_v mere_a darkness_n for_o if_o there_o have_v be_v any_o other_o light_n beside_o the_o word_n s._n peter_n will_v not_o have_v use_v these_o speech_n never_o consider_v and_o weigh_v therefore_o how_o skilful_a and_o wise_a those_o man_n be_v that_o teach_v any_o other_o doctrine_n beside_o the_o word_n of_o god_n neither_o let_v it_o any_o whit_n move_v thou_o how_o glorious_o and_o galant_o so_o ever_o they_o couch_n their_o smoothed_a reason_n for_o where_o thou_o feel_v and_o see_v the_o worde_n of_o god_n to_o be_v absent_a doubt_v not_o but_o all_o which_o thou_o hear_v be_v mere_a blindness_n and_o erroneous_a darkness_n neither_o let_v it_o any_o thing_n move_v thou_o in_o that_o they_o brag_v and_o say_v that_o they_o have_v the_o holy_a ghost_n for_o how_o can_v they_o have_v the_o spirit_n of_o god_n which_o have_v not_o the_o word_n of_o god_n and_o therefore_o they_o do_v nothing_o else_o but_o call_v light_a darkness_n and_o darkness_n light_n as_o it_o be_v say_v esaie_n v._o this_o word_n of_o god_n be_v the_o gospel_n whereby_o we_o be_v through_o christ_n redeem_v from_o sin_n death_n and_o hell_n he_o that_o harken_v and_o give_v ear_n thereunto_o have_v a_o link_n or_o a_o yourselves_o to_o be_v seduce_v by_o false_a teacher_n although_o they_o come_v and_o say_v that_o they_o have_v the_o holy_a ghost_n for_o know_v you_o this_o first_o that_o no_o pprophecy_n in_o the_o scripture_n be_v of_o any_o private_a interpretation_n note_v this_o sai_n therefore_o well_o and_o think_v not_o that_o you_o shall_v ever_o be_v able_a of_o your_o own_o reason_n and_o industry_n to_o expound_v and_o explain_v the_o scripture_n hereby_o be_v throw_v down_o to_o the_o ground_n all_o the_o proper_a and_o private_a interpretation_n of_o all_o the_o father_n and_o
