the_o performance_n of_o the_o duty_n of_o godliness_n as_o well_o as_o in_o the_o duty_n of_o their_o call_n but_o this_o rejoice_v must_v be_v such_o as_o be_v the_o rejoice_v of_o the_o jew_n nehem._n 8._o 12._o which_o be_v only_o spiritual_a and_o in_o the_o lord_n for_o they_o rejoice_v only_o for_o this_o that_o they_o understand_v the_o law_n of_o god_n that_o be_v teach_v they_o but_o as_o for_o the_o recreation_n and_o pastime_n aforenamed_a as_o bowl_v and_o such_o like_a they_o be_v not_o at_o this_o time_n to_o be_v use_v my_o reason_n be_v this_o that_o which_o be_v the_o more_o principal_a and_o necessary_a namely_o labour_v in_o the_o execution_n of_o a_o man_n calling_n be_v forbid_v recreation_n therefore_o which_o be_v for_o labour_n must_v cease_v on_o that_o day_n when_o labour_n cease_v again_o if_o the_o duty_n of_o the_o ordinary_a vocation_n otherwise_o lawful_a and_o commendable_a be_v therefore_o forbid_v because_o they_o destroy_v the_o rest_n command_v and_o take_v up_o the_o mind_n that_o it_o can_v be_v free_o employ_v in_o the_o affair_n of_o god_n then_o much_o more_o be_v work_n of_o pleasure_n forbid_v because_o they_o do_v the_o same_o thing_n much_o more_o though_o otherwise_o in_o themselves_o they_o be_v not_o unlawful_a object_n servant_n must_v have_v recreation_n otherwise_o how_o shall_v they_o be_v able_a to_o work_v in_o the_o week_n day_n ans._n true_a but_o their_o recreation_n must_v be_v grant_v they_o in_o the_o day_n of_o labour_n for_o recreation_n pertain_v not_o to_o rest_v but_o to_o labour_v and_o be_v therefore_o use_v that_o a_o man_n by_o it_o may_v be_v make_v more_o fit_n to_o labour_n ii_o case_n whether_o man_n upon_o any_o occasion_n may_v not_o do_v a_o work_n of_o their_o calling_n in_o the_o morning_n or_o evening_n of_o the_o sabbath_n day_n as_o tradesman_n for_o example_n i_o answer_v that_o they_o may_v so_o be_v it_o they_o observe_v four_o caveat_n i._o that_o the_o work_n do_v be_v no_o scandal_n to_o
