head_n of_o the_o family_n although_o he_o be_v now_o neither_o husband_n nor_o father_n and_o that_o although_o it_o be_v but_o over_o two_o servant_n aswell_o as_o before_o for_o although_o his_o for_o though_o these_o may_v alter_v his_o relation_n to_o those_o under_o he_o yet_o have_v sole_a power_n he_o continue_v in_o the_o full_a right_n of_o government_n as_o master_n of_o the_o family_n for_o consider_v they_o in_o their_o general_a relation_n of_o governor_n and_o govern_v though_o the_o master_n from_o their_o differ_a relation_n that_o be_v under_o he_o may_v differ_v in_o notion_n or_o title_n yet_o the_o power_n be_v of_o god_n and_o not_o from_o their_o relation_n as_o inferior_n if_o the_o wife_n before_o marriage_n and_o be_v yet_o free_a make_v paction_n for_o part_n of_o his_o power_n yet_o she_o be_v so_o far_o from_o constitute_v the_o power_n belong_v to_o his_o office_n that_o he_o when_o he_o shall_v judge_v it_o necessary_a may_v reassume_v this_o for_o aught_o she_o as_o of_o proper_a power_n can_v hinder_v the_o like_a may_v be_v say_v of_o child_n and_o servant_n unto_o who_o by_o promise_n or_o without_o he_o may_v suspend_v or_o as_o opposite_a to_o government_n in_o a_o family_n as_o in_o a_o kingdom_n but_o now_o although_o there_o be_v more_o muttering_n and_o repine_n in_o each_o family_n that_o be_v against_o the_o exercise_n of_o the_o government_n of_o the_o present_a master_n thereof_o then_o be_v in_o a_o monarchy_n have_v consideration_n to_o their_o proportionable_a number_n yet_o to_o set_v up_o such_o stand_a faction_n or_o to_o prosecute_v they_o so_o far_o as_o to_o overthrow_v the_o form_n of_o government_n thereof_o can_v be_v in_o like_a manner_n subject_a to_o the_o family_n as_o kingdom_n and_o this_o because_o the_o master_n or_o his_o heir_n interest_n be_v by_o superior_n law_n ill_o uphold_v and_o then_o the_o master_n of_o all_o other_o family_n have_v concern_v in_o the_o monarchy_n discontent_v party_n have_v make_v a_o faction_n so_o great_a as_o to_o overpower_v the_o appoint_a head_n therein_o there_o be_v not_o another_o present_a superior_a fear_n to_o keep_v they_o from_o destructive_a proceed_n for_o other_o monarch_n will_v rather_o help_v it_o for_o gain_v to_o themselves_o and_o other_o head_n of_o family_n will_v forward_o it_o out_o of_o consideration_n of_o their_o share_n in_o government_n when_o this_o one_o be_v take_v away_o and_o none_o can_v doubt_v but_o that_o child_n and_o servant_n be_v throughout_o as_o desirous_a and_o power_n and_o bounty_n in_o the_o virtue_n and_o endowment_n of_o stone_n or_o plant_n of_o any_o kind_n it_o be_v our_o custom_n and_o duty_n to_o instance_n it_o in_o such_o as_o be_v the_o most_o rare_a and_o perfect_a particular_n of_o the_o same_o kind_n which_o may_v by_o their_o worth_n eminent_o include_v the_o whole_a beast_n have_v their_o degree_n of_o prudence_n and_o courage_n whereby_o they_o come_v to_o resemble_v man_n and_o be_v difference_v above_o other_o of_o the_o same_o kind_n recompense_v with_o the_o dominion_n over_o one_o another_o also_o look_v above_o imperfect_a in_o itself_o can_v not_o be_v imagine_v from_o the_o power_n of_o such_o a_o author_n so_o also_o not_o to_o have_v make_v some_o individual_n thereof_o more_o perfect_a than_o other_o whereby_o as_o it_o be_v to_o confess_v that_o the_o author_n power_n by_o this_o certain_a stint_n be_v come_v to_o its_o high_a pitch_n can_v not_o be_v expect_v from_o omnipotency_n either_o no_o the_o low_a thing_n have_v hereupon_o cause_n or_o reason_n to_o complain_v because_o each_o one_o have_v a_o stock_n of_o blessing_n suitable_a to_o its_o capacity_n and_o the_o small_a and_o great_a inexhaustible_a fountain_n of_o goodness_n whereas_o if_o man_n and_o other_o creature_n have_v be_v make_v for_o virtue_n or_o power_n equal_a in_o the_o individual_n of_o the_o same_o kind_n then_o or_o like_a mean_n for_o the_o necessity_n of_o have_v these_o thing_n to_o each_o subject_n in_o particular_a make_v it_o necessary_a that_o there_o shall_v be_v one_o to_o judge_v and_o take_v care_n thereof_o in_o general_n must_v also_o imply_v a_o necessity_n in_o the_o mean_n that_o be_v public_a maintenance_n aswell_o as_o of_o the_o end_n which_o be_v public_a good_a but_o now_o although_o few_o doubt_n that_o either_o there_o shall_v be_v care_n or_o allowance_n for_o public_a advantage_n or_o to_o resist_v public_a detriment_n there_o be_v many_o do_v yet_o actual_o and_o shall_v happen_v that_o the_o prince_n shall_v in_o these_o thing_n exceed_v public_a regard_n the_o damage_n and_o dishonour_n be_v not_o so_o great_a to_o the_o people_n to_o be_v by_o he_o overreach_v as_o by_o other_o of_o less_o note_n and_o concern_v in_o the_o public_a for_o he_o as_o the_o public_a minister_n aught_o to_o be_v by_o they_o maintain_v and_o the_o more_o his_o honour_n the_o more_o they_o but_o to_o be_v cozen_v by_o their_o fellow_n and_o to_o have_v they_o thereby_o make_v rich_a above_o they_o which_o in_o all_o republike_n must_v come_v to_o pass_v will_v neither_o gain_v they_o thanks_o nor_o credit_n and_o again_o the_o more_o the_o prince_n shall_v gain_v by_o frugallity_n in_o the_o managery_n of_o those_o public_a employment_n and_o trust_n
