of_o christ_n as_o may_v render_v he_o a_o present_a object_n of_o faith_n and_o love_n wherewith_o they_o may_v be_v immediate_o affect_v how_o this_o be_v do_v in_o the_o gospel_n they_o can_v not_o that_o a_o man_n will_v think_v they_o distract_v to_o hear_v what_o their_o book_n say_v and_o to_o see_v what_o they_o do_v in_o the_o same_o place_n but_o nothing_o will_v reach_v unto_o their_o conviction_n until_o the_o vail_n of_o blindness_n and_o ignorance_n be_v take_v from_o their_o mind_n until_o they_o have_v a_o spiritual_a light_n enable_v they_o to_o discern_v the_o glory_n of_o christ_n as_o represent_v in_o the_o gospel_n and_o to_o let_v in_o a_o experience_n of_o the_o transform_a power_n and_o efficacy_n of_o that_o revelation_n in_o their_o own_o soul_n they_o will_v never_o part_v with_o that_o mean_n for_o the_o same_o end_n which_o they_o be_v sensible_a of_o to_o be_v useful_a unto_o it_o and_o which_o be_v suit_v unto_o their_o inclination_n whatever_o be_v the_o issue_n though_o it_o cost_v they_o their_o soul_n they_o will_v not_o part_v with_o what_o they_o find_v as_o they_o suppose_v so_o useful_a unto_o their_o great_a end_n of_o make_v christ_n nigh_o unto_o they_o for_o that_o wherein_o they_o can_v see_v nothing_o of_o it_o and_o of_o who_o power_n they_o can_v have_v no_o experience_n but_o the_o principal_a design_n of_o this_o wisdom_n and_o duty_n of_o all_o those_o who_o desire_v a_o stability_n in_o the_o profession_n of_o the_o truth_n continual_o to_o endeavour_v after_o this_o experience_n and_o a_o increase_n in_o it_o he_o who_o live_v in_o the_o exercise_n of_o faith_n and_o love_n in_o the_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n as_o reveal_v in_o the_o gospel_n as_o evident_o crucify_v and_o evident_o exalt_v therein_o and_o find_v the_o fruit_n of_o his_o so_o do_v in_o his_o own_o soul_n will_v be_v preserve_v in_o the_o time_n of_o trial._n without_o this_o man_n will_v at_o last_o begin_v to_o think_v that_o it_o be_v better_a to_o have_v a_o false_a christ_n than_o none_o at_o all_o they_o will_v suppose_v that_o something_o be_v to_o be_v find_v in_o a_o image_n when_o they_o can_v find_v nothing_o in_o
