any_o other_o expedient_n for_o the_o good_a of_o the_o church_n of_o england_n and_o always_o twit_v the_o synod_n with_o caveat_n of_o that_o holy_a statute_n of_o praemunire_n not_o to_o speak_v one_o wood_n nor_o syllable_n to_o any_o purpose_n whatsoever_o till_o such_o prince_n please_v to_o allow_v you_o of_o his_o mere_a grace_n and_o motion_n as_o be_v only_o of_o counsel_n to_o this_o they_o be_v oblige_v to_o interpret_v and_o judge_v according_a to_o the_o letter_n but_o for_o clergy-min_n to_o attribute_v divinity_n to_o humane_a law_n whatsoever_o the_o result_v of_o they_o be_v this_o this_o but_o will_v not_o here_o the_o same_o right_n of_o natural_a reason_n come_v in_o which_o the_o dr._n assert_n to_o the_o chuach_n where_o the_o civil_a power_n be_v of_o another_o persuasion_n to_o consult_v together_o the_o best_a they_o can_v and_o to_o that_o end_n aslemble_n in_o synod_n ecclesiastical_a this_o reason_n this_o right_a and_o rule_n by_o the_o word_v of_o it_o in_o general_a term_n of_o quother_n persuasion_n will_v reach_v the_o case_n of_o church_n not_o only_o under_o heathen_a power_n but_o christian_a power_n of_o different_a communion_n and_o principle_n from_o the_o pure_a church_n that_o be_v in_o subjection_n and_o it_o seem_v calculate_v for_o the_o case_n of_o the_o french_a protestant_n or_o the_o vandoise_n for_o comprehension_n sake_n now_o though_o i_o know_v this_o to_o be_v no_o rule_n of_o common_a or_o statute-law_n here_o in_o such_o case_n yet_o will_v the_o dr._n allow_v a_o natural_a right_n and_o reason_n for_o such_o liberty_n even_o in_o opposition_n to_o our_o law_n when_o our_o king_n shall_v be_v of_o another_o persuasion_n shall_v the_o church_n lean_a upon_o she_o own_o authority_n and_o wisdom_n not_o he_o this_o his_o own_o determination_n say_v as_o much_o in_o general_n and_o yet_o i_o believe_v his_o design_n will_v not_o permit_v he_o to_o say_v so_o for_o we_o no_o not_o in_o our_o case_n under_o the_o late_a k._n james_n and_o if_o he_o shall_v make_v any_o reply_n upon_o this_o book_n i_o do_v desire_n he_o to_o speak_v home_o like_o a_o man_n to_o this_o supposition_n and_o the_o case_n and_o demand_v raise_v on_o it_o §_o 7._o suppose_v then_o according_a to_o the_o dr_n concession_n that_o under_o
