down_o all_o country_n and_o soil_n for_o water_n it_o be_v need_v that_o make_v the_o rich_a woman_n of_o shunem_n to_o hazard_v her_o life_n and_o her_o family_n and_o household_n in_o a_o foreign_a country_n she_o will_v not_o have_v go_v a_o mile_n of_o that_o journey_n but_o for_o her_o poverty_n as_o divine_n use_v to_o speak_v let_v two_o man_n go_v to_o the_o market_n the_o one_o have_v pinch_v with_o the_o want_n his_o heart_n be_v yet_o full_a he_o be_v not_o yet_o come_v to_o this_o spiritual_a poverty_n it_o may_v be_v he_o will_v come_v to_o a_o sermon_n it_o may_v be_v not_o it_o may_v be_v he_o will_v part_v with_o a_o lust_n and_o it_o may_v be_v not_o it_o be_v according_a as_o the_o bargain_n please_v he_o he_o will_v never_o use_v all_o mean_n nor_o take_v up_o all_o course_n that_o be_v prescribe_v but_o a_o man_n that_o be_v ready_a to_o starve_v for_o want_v of_o christ_n as_o sisera_n say_v give_v i_o drink_v or_o else_o i_o perish_v so_o give_v i_o christ_n or_o else_o i_o perish_v this_o man_n will_v take_v any_o course_n use_v any_o mean_n he_o must_v have_v christ_n and_o will_v have_v he_o when_o he_o come_v to_o the_o word_n christ_n he_o want_v and_o christ_n he_o will_v have_v and_o must_v have_v all_o sermon_n and_o all_o hear_n be_v but_o as_o oil_n to_o the_o fire_n they_o do_v but_o pinch_v his_o soul_n so_o much_o the_o more_o till_o christ_n come_v he_o must_v have_v christ_n in_o his_o ordinance_n because_o he_o be_v sensible_a of_o his_o spiritual_a poverty_n so_o that_o it_o be_v he_o which_o be_v lose_v that_o will_v be_v find_v it_o be_v he_o which_o be_v a_o captive_a that_o will_v be_v free_v it_o be_v he_o that_o be_v blind_a that_o must_v have_v his_o sight_n and_o it_o be_v he_o that_o be_v naked_a that_o must_v be_v clothe_v he_o that_o lie_v under_o these_o woeful_a privation_n he_o must_v have_v the_o form_n he_o look_v after_o it_o he_o can_v be_v without_o it_o thus_o we_o see_v that_o privation_n be_v necessary_a for_o religion_n the_o true_a life_n of_o religion_n can_v never_o come_v into_o a_o man_n till_o he_o be_v lay_v under_o all_o these_o woeful_a privation_n we_o read_v of_o in_o scripture_n but_o now_o here_o be_v a_o question_n which_o will_v arise_v quest_n which_o those_o that_o be_v godly_a will_v be_v glad_a to_o have_v resolve_v and_o that_o be_v this_o whether_o these_o privation_n that_o the_o apostle_n here_o speak_v of_o make_v a_o man_n the_o formal_a object_n of_o mercy_n saint_n paul_n be_v alive_a once_o before_o the_o law_n come_v but_o when_o the_o law_n come_v and_o be_v charge_v upon_o his_o conscience_n it_o deprive_v he_o of_o his_o livelynesse_n and_o make_v he_o a_o dead_a man_n i_o die_v say_v he_o now_o the_o question_n be_v this_o whether_o be_v such_o a_o man_n the_o formal_a object_n of_o mercy_n when_o the_o law_n have_v deprive_v a_o man_n of_o his_o conceit_a riches_n and_o make_v he_o a_o poor_a man_n and_o have_v proclaim_v he_o a_o bankrupt_a and_o a_o beggar_n and_o make_v he_o a_o captive_a that_o he_o be_v not_o able_a to_o stir_v one_o foot_n he_o be_v not_o able_a so_o much_o as_o to_o think_v a_o good_a thought_n but_o he_o lie_v under_o wrath_n and_o be_v not_o able_a to_o get_v out_o whether_o be_v such_o a_o man_n the_o formal_a object_n of_o mercy_n i_o mean_v whether_o be_v he_o such_o a_o one_o as_o the_o gospel_n have_v promise_v deliverance_n unto_o when_o a_o man_n by_o the_o law_n be_v make_v a_o dead_a creature_n and_o be_v altogether_o deprive_v of_o life_n and_o health_n he_o have_v no_o life_n actual_o and_o there_o be_v no_o life_n actual_o to_o be_v have_v for_o he_o for_o so_o the_o law_n leave_v he_o without_o any_o hope_n of_o get_v any_o life_n whether_o be_v this_o man_n the_o formal_a object_n of_o mercy_n whether_o be_v he_o such_o a_o one_o as_o the_o gospel_n do_v make_v promise_n to_o of_o quicken_a and_o enrich_v and_o gather_v and_o find_v and_o save_v and_o comfort_v and_o the_o like_a whether_o be_v this_o man_n the_o formal_a object_n of_o mercy_n every_o man_n be_v the_o object_n of_o mercy_n but_o whether_o have_v this_o man_n get_v those_o property_n that_o belong_v to_o the_o actual_a object_n of_o mercy_n the_o reason_n why_o i_o propound_v this_o question_n be_v this_o because_o the_o scripture_n seem_v to_o make_v such_o a_o one_o
