the_o sin_n of_o the_o whole_a world_n such_o a_o satisfaction_n see_v because_o it_o can_v be_v make_v by_o no_o creature_n and_o yet_o be_v necessary_a to_o appease_v the_o wrath_n of_o god_n therefore_o they_o say_v that_o god_n ought_v to_o be_v incarnate_v there_o be_v indeed_o some_o find_v who_o have_v reject_v the_o former_a part_n of_o that_o satisfaction_n which_o consist_v in_o the_o active_a obedience_n of_o christ_n as_o they_o call_v it_o for_o they_o see_v that_o if_o christ_n by_o his_o obedience_n have_v full_o recompense_v our_o disobedience_n there_o will_v remain_v no_o sin_n for_o which_o he_o shall_v satisfy_v by_o his_o death_n all_o be_v already_o abundant_o recompense_v and_o extinct_a by_o that_o obedience_n but_o they_o be_v both_o few_o and_o nevertheless_o vehement_o urge_v the_o latter_a satisfaction_n consist_v in_o the_o passive_a obedience_n or_o passion_n and_o death_n more_o be_v find_v who_o also_o have_v endeavour_v to_o mitigate_v somewhat_o the_o other_o part_n of_o that_o opinion_n either_o because_o they_o have_v take_v away_o the_o necessity_n of_o it_o or_o because_o they_o have_v assert_v that_o that_o satisfaction_n by_o its_o own_o virtue_n do_v not_o extinguish_v our_o debt_n unless_o the_o bounty_n of_o god_n be_v add_v but_o beside_o that_o that_o opinion_n which_o we_o have_v before_o explain_v be_v more_o common_a it_o must_v needs_o be_v that_o that_o be_v a_o necessary_a and_o inevitable_a thing_n which_o compel_v tâ—e_v most_o high_a god_n to_o that_o thing_n than_o which_o nothing_o can_v be_v imagine_v more_o unworthy_a of_o he_o and_o very_o many_o of_o they_o who_o deny_v the_o necessity_n of_o that_o satisfaction_n not_o depend_v on_o the_o decree_n of_o god_n nevertheless_o do_v hold_v that_o price_n which_o be_v pay_v for_o we_o to_o be_v infinite_a in_o worth_n and_o equal_a to_o our_o debt_n but_o this_o opinion_n beside_o that_o it_o permit_v not_o to_o acknowledge_v the_o true_a virtue_n of_o christ_n death_n in_o procure_v we_o the_o remission_n of_o our_o sin_n and_o eternal_a salvation_n it_o deprive_v god_n himself_o also_o of_o the_o praise_n of_o the_o great_a goodness_n which_o he_o have_v afford_v we_o sinner_n yea_o and_o take_v away_o from_o he_o the_o right_a of_o further_a require_v piety_n from_o we_o by_o which_o very_a thing_n it_o both_o destroy_v the_o study_n of_o piety_n in_o we_o and_o together_o with_o piety_n take_v away_o salvation_n for_o god_n have_v neither_o pardon_v our_o sin_n to_o we_o if_o all_o that_o which_o be_v due_a to_o he_o be_v pay_v to_o he_o by_o another_o in_o our_o stead_n and_o name_n nor_o do_v he_o bestow_v his_o son_n for_o we_o a_o price_n of_o our_o redemption_n if_o it_o
