opportunity_n for_o the_o exercise_n of_o some_o virtue_n which_o will_v have_v have_v no_o place_n in_o a_o prosperous_a state_n and_o be_v necessary_a to_o our_o perfection_n but_o though_o i_o grant_v all_o this_o yet_o consider_v the_o imperfection_n of_o the_o best_a of_o man_n and_o the_o necessity_n of_o health_n and_o liberty_n and_o plenty_n and_o peace_n to_o enable_v they_o for_o may_v be_v helpful_a to_o we_o in_o do_v some_o good_a work_n as_o it_o suppose_v that_o we_o will_v use_v it_o so_o it_o signify_v that_o we_o shall_v lay_v out_o our_o labour_n our_o money_n and_o be_v at_o the_o expense_n or_o suffer_v the_o loss_n of_o any_o gratification_n that_o be_v of_o less_o worth_n than_o that_o good_a which_o by_o the_o help_n of_o this_o opportunity_n we_o hope_v or_o less_o according_a to_o the_o great_a or_o less_o goodness_n of_o that_o action_n or_o life_n which_o it_o help_v to_o nay_o which_o may_v seem_v strange_a yet_o so_o it_o be_v that_o even_o life_n itself_o be_v not_o too_o much_o to_o give_v for_o a_o opportunity_n to_o do_v some_o one_o action_n which_o may_v be_v so_o huge_o beneficial_a that_o it_o be_v real_o of_o great_a value_n they_o be_v member_n be_v benefice_v by_o their_o holy_a and_o good_a life_n and_o since_o they_o feel_v so_o much_o good_a in_o they_o at_o present_a they_o can_v but_o earnest_o desire_v and_o hope_n for_o that_o happiness_n which_o their_o mind_n presage_v and_o the_o gospel_n assure_v they_o remain_v for_o good_a man_n in_o the_o future_a state_n furthermore_o the_o gospel_n ascertain_v they_o of_o the_o manifest_a danger_n they_o run_v who_o do_v not_o live_v thus_o they_o be_v assure_v that_o they_o can_v inherit_v the_o kingdom_n of_o god_n that_o their_o doom_n must_v be_v to_o go_v away_o from_o the_o presence_n of_o god_n into_o everlasting_a misery_n these_o be_v some_o of_o those_o thing_n in_o which_o the_o gentile_n be_v instruct_v when_o they_o become_v christian_n of_o which_o they_o be_v in_o their_o gentile_a state_n either_o whole_o ignorant_a or_o at_o least_o very_a uncertain_a 2._o and_o we_o may_v well_o suppose_v that_o where_o the_o mind_n be_v thus_o enlighten_v the_o heart_n will_v be_v purify_v and_o the_o life_n amend_v for_o impurity_n and_o wickedness_n be_v work_n of_o darkness_n and_o ignorance_n and_o where_o the_o light_n of_o a_o clear_a righteousness_n have_v display_v his_o beam_n in_o the_o soul_n so_o that_o now_o the_o flesh_n be_v crucify_v with_o its_o affection_n and_o lust_n all_o those_o wicked_a passion_n which_o rebel_v against_o reason_n and_o conscience_n and_o robe_v the_o soul_n of_o its_o innocence_n and_o quiet_a be_v now_o subdue_v by_o christ_n the_o mind_n do_v now_o no_o long_o serve_v divers_a lust_n and_o pleasure_n nor_o be_v it_o at_o the_o mercy_n of_o those_o fury_n of_o revenge_n and_o malice_n and_o envy_n but_o in_o the_o room_n of_o these_o be_v come_v mildness_n and_o gentleness_n benignity_n and_o mercy_n and_o universal_a goodwill_n the_o gentile_a turn_v christian_n be_v not_o now_o addict_v to_o gluttony_n and_o drunkenness_n to_o chamber_v wantonness_n and_o suchlike_a revel_v and_o riotous_a course_n but_o he_o be_v temperate_a and_o chaste_a and_o keep_v these_o appetite_n of_o bodily_a pleasure_n within_o the_o bound_n which_o nature_n and_o approve_a custom_n which_o reason_n and_o law_n and_o religion_n have_v set_v he_o live_v in_o the_o constant_a exercise_n of_o a_o pure_a and_o spiritual_a religion_n and_o express_v a_o regard_n to_o god_n in_o his_o whole_a life_n acknowledge_v the_o divine_a perfection_n as_o well_o as_o god_n superiority_n over_o and_o right_o to_o he_o by_o his_o love_a and_o fear_v he_o above_o all_o and_o his_o constant_a study_n to_o please_v he_o in_o obedience_n to_o his_o law_n and_o imitation_n of_o his_o work_n he_o keep_v all_o his_o faculty_n in_o that_o due_a and_o natural_a order_n in_o which_o god_n place_v they_o when_o man_n come_v first_o out_o of_o his_o hand_n that_o be_v the_o body_n be_v subject_a to_o the_o soul_n and_o the_o will_n be_v under_o the_o conduct_n of_o the_o understanding_n he_o rid_v himself_o of_o all_o irregular_a appetite_n and_o disorderly_a passion_n and_o so_o walk_v not_o in_o those_o way_n of_o sensuality_n in_o which_o brutish-man_n be_v find_v and_o his_o conversation_n to_o other_o be_v innocent_a and_o simple_a full_a of_o plain-dealing_a and_o honesty_n adorn_v with_o mildness_n and_o equity_n nor_o have_v he_o any_o other_o design_n but_o those_o to_o which_o he_o be_v engage_v by_o the_o most_o undissembled_a and_o servant_n love_n in_o respect_n of_o other_o man_n the_o christian_a may_v be_v say_v to_o live_v a_o life_n of_o love_n for_o this_o be_v that_o which_o direct_v which_o engage_v he_o to_o all_o he_o do_v to_o they_o this_o be_v the_o predominant_a affection_n the_o most_o powerful_a and_o prevalent_a principle_n of_o all_o his_o action_n but_o i_o shall_v not_o now_o engage_v in_o a_o particular_a discourse_n of_o the_o goodness_n of_o a_o christian_n life_n what_o have_v be_v say_v may_v be_v sufficient_a to_o show_v that_o the_o christian_n heart_n be_v purify_v and_o his_o life_n reform_v that_o he_o be_v not_o affect_v nor_o do_v he_o walk_v as_o other_o gentile_n who_o have_v not_o know_v christ_n if_o any_o shall_v think_v that_o i_o have_v set_v his_o holiness_n too_o high_a though_o i_o doubt_v not_o but_o many_o have_v exemplify_v all_o that_o i_o have_v describe_v yet_o suppose_v the_o more_o common_a sort_n of_o christian_n who_o have_v not_o yet_o attain_v to_o all_o this_o perfection_n only_o they_o be_v earnest_o pursue_v and_o reach_v after_o it_o even_o such_o do_v far_o transcend_v the_o unchristened_a heathen_n and_o those_o of_o this_o low_a rank_n of_o christian_n have_v great_a peace_n and_o qulet_n of_o mind_n a_o thing_n to_o which_o the_o ignorant_a and_o superstitious_a the_o vicious_a and_o wicked_a among_o the_o heathen_n must_v be_v utter_a stranger_n for_o the_o wicked_a he_o be_v so_o full_a of_o guilty_a fear_n that_o he_o flee_v when_o no_o man_n pursue_v he_o and_o it_o be_v a_o eternal_a truth_n that_o there_o be_v no_o peace_n to_o the_o wicked_a if_o we_o will_v allow_v some_o of_o they_o not_o to_o have_v be_v wicked_a yet_o we_o must_v confess_v that_o their_o knowledge_n be_v far_o short_a of_o the_o christian_n and_o all_o ignorance_n and_o uncertainty_n must_v be_v attend_v with_o fear_n and_o unquietness_n but_o the_o christian_n clear_v and_o certain_a knowledge_n of_o god_n and_o of_o himself_o of_o the_o undertake_n and_o performance_n of_o christ_n and_o of_o his_o own_o duty_n and_o the_o encouragement_n he_o have_v to_o that_o together_o with_o his_o sincere_a and_o honest_a endeavour_n to_o do_v what_o be_v good_a must_v lay_v a_o sure_a foundation_n of_o last_a peace_n and_o be_v a_o fountain_n of_o pleasure_n ever_o spring_v up_o in_o his_o soul_n thus_o i_o have_v brief_o consider_v the_o convert_v gentile_a in_o himself_o single_o but_o because_o man_n be_v weak_a and_o dependent_a and_o not_o sufficient_a for_o his_o own_o happiness_n i_o will_v now_o go_v on_o to_o show_v how_o it_o be_v with_o he_o second_o in_o respect_n of_o other_o man_n and_o of_o 1._o those_o that_o be_v no_o christian_n as_o wellâ—_n as_o 2._o of_o those_o that_o be_v 1._o those_o that_o be_v no_o christian_n if_o they_o have_v any_o remainder_n of_o love_n to_o goodness_n will_v esteem_v and_o reverence_n that_o admirable_a virtue_n which_o they_o see_v the_o christian_a practice_n for_o his_o life_n be_v a_o exemplification_n of_o the_o precept_n of_o the_o gospel_n must_v needs_o make_v every_o beholder_n what_o they_o seem_v and_o i_o be_o sure_a it_o be_v the_o likely_a and_o therefore_o the_o wise_a way_n we_o can_v take_v to_o prevent_v opposition_n and_o harm_n from_o other_o man_n for_o no_o man_n will_v light_o set_v himself_o against_o he_o who_o be_v do_v good_a but_o if_o any_o shall_v think_v that_o this_o be_v the_o way_n that_o will_v lead_v he_o into_o all_o suffering_n from_o engage_v we_o also_o to_o do_v or_o suffer_v any_o thing_n for_o they_o we_o can_v but_o draw_v this_o easy_a conclusion_n if_o he_o so_o love_v we_o we_o ought_v also_o to_o love_v one_o another_o that_o lead_v to_o happiness_n i_o need_v not_o mention_v those_o know_v and_o celebrate_v name_n of_o abraham_n isaac_n and_o jacob_n of_o job_n and_o david_n and_o the_o prophet_n of_o the_o lord_n who_o be_v all_o member_n of_o the_o same_o church_n of_o which_o the_o eternal_a word_n the_o only_o beget_v of_o the_o father_n be_v the_o head_n beside_o these_o ancient_a worthy_n we_o have_v the_o life_n of_o those_o good_a man_n who_o be_v with_o and_o since_o our_o saviour_n who_o have_v set_v we_o the_o fair_a copy_n of_o meekness_n and_o humility_n of_o a_o undaunted_a courage_n a_o firm_a patience_n a_o obedience_n to_o superior_n a_o justice_n and_o honesty_n in_o all_o deal_n a_o universal_a charity_n and_o goodwill_n a_o exact_a temperance_n a_o true_a and_o a_o excellent_a religion_n in_o short_a they_o have_v go_v before_o we_o in_o all_o the_o way_n of_o holiness_n and_o goodness_n but_o over_o and_o above_o and_o which_o be_v more_o than_o all_o these_o we_o have_v upon_o sure_a record_n the_o most_o admirable_a pattern_n of_o goodness_n that_o ever_o the_o world_n see_v in_o the_o most_o excellent_a life_n of_o our_o most_o bless_a lord_n there_o be_v holiness_n in_o perfection_n and_o virtue_n in_o its_o most_o exalt_a state_n there_o we_o see_v the_o utmost_a possibility_n of_o goodness_n to_o which_o human_a nature_n can_v be_v raise_v on_o this_o earth_n this_o and_o the_o rest_n of_o those_o great_a example_n serve_v to_o instruct_v our_o ignorance_n to_o quicken_v our_o dulness_n and_o to_o encourage_v our_o faint_n and_o despondency_n beside_o these_o we_o have_v example_n of_o man_n now_o alive_a which_o teach_v we_o religion_n and_o virtue_n and_o engage_v we_o to_o practice_v it_o as_o bad_a as_o the_o world_n be_v there_o be_v those_o who_o shine_v as_o light_n in_o the_o midst_n of_o the_o darkness_n of_o this_o earth_n there_o be_v many_o who_o the_o grace_n of_o god_n have_v teach_v to_o live_v sober_o and_o righteous_o and_o godly_a who_o keep_v their_o appetite_n and_o passion_n under_o due_a restraint_n and_o good_a government_n so_o that_o they_o be_v harmless_a in_o their_o conversation_n and_o not_o only_o so_o but_o they_o live_v to_o the_o good_a purpose_n of_o promote_a their_o own_o and_o other_o man_n good_a estate_n and_o welfare_n i_o have_v now_o brief_o touch_v upon_o the_o privilege_n man_n do_v or_o may_v receive_v by_o be_v member_n of_o the_o christian_a church_n but_o i_o have_v not_o in_o my_o discourse_n observe_v the_o method_n which_o i_o intend_v because_o i_o will_v be_v short_a i_o shall_v therefore_o only_o mention_v how_o it_o be_v with_o they_o in_o respect_n of_o god_n and_o of_o the_o devil_n and_o brief_o the_o case_n be_v thus_o in_o respect_n of_o god_n that_o it_o be_v a_o matter_n of_o far_o less_o difficulty_n for_o we_o who_o have_v the_o gospel_n and_o live_v though_o but_o in_o the_o outward_a communion_n with_o the_o church_n to_o repent_v of_o our_o sin_n and_o become_v good_a man_n and_o to_o live_v holy_a life_n than_o it_o be_v or_o be_v to_o any_o other_o this_o be_v now_o make_v so_o practicable_a so_o feasible_a a_o matter_n of_o receive_v the_o great_a mercy_n from_o the_o divine_a bounty_n and_o be_v in_o the_o way_n in_o which_o god_n usual_o do_v communicate_v they_o but_o as_o many_o as_o be_v recover_v out_o of_o a_o state_n of_o sin_n to_o a_o life_n of_o virtue_n their_o past_a sin_n be_v all_o pardon_v their_o frequent_a infirmity_n and_o shortness_n be_v also_o remit_v so_o as_o they_o shall_v not_o rise_v and_o goodness_n of_o many_o of_o its_o member_n whether_o we_o look_v on_o the_o engagement_n lay_v upon_o they_o in_o their_o first_o admission_n into_o the_o church_n or_o the_o admirable_a order_n and_o virtue_n tranquillity_n and_o pleasure_n life_n and_o health_n a_o good_a name_n and_o a_o competent_a estate_n and_o true_a wisdom_n that_o love_a spirit_n will_v design_n for_o other_o as_o for_o itself_o now_o to_o do_v good_a universal_o be_v the_o best_a and_o a_o very_a sure_a plain_a and_o short_a way_n both_o to_o get_v and_o to_o keep_v these_o thing_n both_o for_o ourselves_o and_o other_o first_o it_o be_v the_o way_n to_o the_o best_a knowledge_n for_o 1._o he_o that_o be_v bend_v to_o do_v all_o the_o good_a he_o can_v to_o man_n will_v be_v diligent_a to_o get_v knowledge_n that_o he_o may_v be_v able_a to_o inform_v other_o none_o that_o consider_v but_o know_v thiâ—_n to_o be_v one_o of_o the_o great_a excellency_n of_o man_n and_o that_o we_o can_v be_v good_a he_o can_v will_v earnest_o seek_v after_o that_o knowledge_n which_o will_v be_v so_o benesicial_a to_o other_o as_o well_o as_o himself_o and_o he_o do_v not_o only_o seek_v it_o for_o the_o improvement_n of_o his_o own_o mind_n but_o have_v this_o further_a inducement_n to_o search_v after_o it_o that_o he_o may_v be_v more_o beneficial_a to_o other_o men._n he_o do_v now_o not_o only_o of_o his_o study_n by_o a_o design_n of_o do_v good_a will_v not_o spend_v his_o time_n in_o trifle_n and_o curiosity_n in_o idle_a and_o empty_a speculation_n in_o groundless_a conjecture_n and_o endless_a disquisition_n his_o pursuit_n be_v not_o after_o any_o piece_n of_o useless_a learning_n and_o all_o that_o he_o count_v such_o which_o do_v not_o make_v he_o wise_a or_o better_o which_o do_v not_o help_v he_o to_o direct_v his_o life_n to_o govern_v his_o passion_n by_o reason_n and_o virtue_n to_o quiet_a his_o mind_n to_o preserve_v his_o health_n and_o rid_v he_o of_o ill_a circumstance_n and_o be_v some_o way_n useful_a to_o other_o men._n and_o then_o 3._o he_o will_v be_v very_o communicative_a of_o what_o he_o know_v and_o there_o be_v no_o better_a way_n to_o get_v to_o keep_v to_o improve_v knowledge_n than_o to_o communicate_v it_o the_o liberal_a soul_n will_v not_o usurer-like_a hoard_v up_o knowledge_n and_o applaud_v himself_o that_o he_o know_v such_o and_o such_o matter_n of_o which_o other_o be_v ignorant_a no_o but_o he_o take_v a_o pleasure_n in_o the_o information_n of_o other_o and_o hearty_o endeavour_v to_o make_v they_o as_o wise_a as_o himself_o and_o whilst_o he_o instruct_v they_o he_o refresh_v his_o own_o notion_n and_o preserve_v a_o memory_n of_o they_o and_o indeed_o this_o furniture_n of_o soul_n i_o like_v that_o of_o house_n if_o it_o be_v keep_v close_o and_o unused_a it_o grow_v mouldy_a and_o moth_n or_o rust_n corrupt_v it_o whereas_o if_o common_o use_v and_o open_a to_o common_a sight_n it_o be_v preserve_v this_o be_v the_o sum_n a_o earnest_a design_n of_o do_v the_o good_a we_o can_v to_o other_o man_n will_v engage_v we_o to_o seek_v after_o knowledge_n after_o the_o best_a and_o most_o useful_a and_o when_o we_o have_v get_v it_o to_o communicate_v it_o to_o other_o and_o in_o all_o these_o way_n increase_v it_o in_o ourselves_o second_o to_o do_v good_a unto_o all_o man_n be_v the_o way_n to_o be_v true_o religious_a religion_n or_o to_o have_v a_o due_a regard_n to_o god_n this_o be_v certain_o one_o of_o the_o great_a perfection_n of_o man_n mind_n it_o be_v that_o wherein_o we_o manifest_o excel_v all_o the_o creature_n of_o this_o low_a world_n and_o be_v the_o most_o spiritual_a divine_a quality_n in_o the_o soul_n of_o man._n beside_o it_o be_v impossible_a we_o shall_v be_v happy_a without_o it_o for_o if_o it_o be_v necessary_a to_o our_o happiness_n that_o we_o think_v true_o of_o and_o be_v right_o affect_v to_o thing_n in_o which_o we_o be_v less_o concern_v it_o be_v absolute_o necessary_a that_o we_o have_v right_a apprehension_n of_o and_o befit_v affection_n to_o god_n who_o be_v offer_v to_o our_o thought_n so_o often_o and_o with_o who_o we_o always_o be_v the_o knowledge_n of_o who_o be_v eternal_a life_n for_o the_o clear_n of_o this_o i_o will_v not_o now_o show_v how_o great_a a_o part_n of_o religion_n do_v good_a be_v because_o i_o have_v already_o discourse_v
that_o but_o i_o will_v show_v what_o influence_n a_o life_n of_o universal_a love_n and_o goodness_n must_v have_v to_o make_v we_o think_v well_o and_o true_o of_o god_n and_o live_v in_o a_o due_a regard_n to_o he_o in_o general_a therefore_o this_o life_n of_o benevolence_n and_o universal_a goodwill_n help_v we_o to_o a_o better_a that_o be_v a_o clear_a and_o more_o certain_a and_o sensible_a knowledge_n of_o the_o goodness_n of_o god_n and_o thereby_o engage_v we_o to_o love_v he_o and_o trust_v in_o he_o the_o man_n who_o in_o his_o disposition_n and_o practice_n be_v beneficent_a he_o feel_v this_o to_o be_v the_o best_a state_n of_o all_o other_o and_o consequent_o will_v attribute_v it_o to_o he_o who_o be_v the_o best_a and_o happy_a of_o all_o being_n he_o who_o lay_v the_o foundation_n of_o what_o he_o believe_v concern_v god_n in_o testimony_n only_o his_o soul_n may_v be_v fill_v with_o doubt_n he_o may_v question_v whether_o he_o right_o understand_v what_o he_o read_v or_o hear_v at_o least_o he_o can_v be_v so_o sensible_o and_o full_o assure_v of_o it_o as_o he_o that_o build_v upon_o his_o own_o sense_n and_o feel_v some_o say_v and_o not_o without_o very_o good_a reason_n that_o none_o can_v know_v what_o god_n be_v who_o be_v not_o themselves_o partaker_n of_o the_o divine_a nature_n and_o the_o scripture_n give_v a_o virtuous_a good_a life_n be_v certain_o the_o best_a preparation_n and_o do_v most_o dispose_v the_o soul_n to_o the_o reception_n of_o all_o truth_n but_o more_o particular_o of_o that_o which_o concern_v god_n and_o spiritual_a matter_n this_o also_o give_v further_a credit_n to_o that_o assertion_n that_o most_o or_o all_o man_n opinion_n of_o god_n be_v found_v in_o their_o own_o life_n and_o temper_n and_o there_o be_v good_a reason_n it_o shall_v be_v so_o for_o general_o man_n like_o themselves_o and_o approve_v of_o what_o they_o do_v and_o all_o in_o their_o reason_n attribute_v that_o which_o they_o think_v good_a to_o god_n who_o be_v absolute_o so_o hence_o it_o be_v that_o the_o wicked_a profane_a man_n think_v god_n like_o himself_o and_o that_o he_o do_v not_o detest_v no_o god_n or_o think_v false_o of_o he_o for_o true_a knowledge_n of_o god_n and_o a_o vicious_a life_n can_v consist_v any_o more_o than_o light_n and_o darkness_n again_o other_o man_n of_o severe_a austere_a humour_n and_o of_o angry_a and_o malicious_a temper_n conceive_v god_n to_o be_v as_o they_o be_v and_o the_o man_n of_o a_o benign_a mind_n he_o account_v love_n and_o goodness_n the_o most_o essential_a property_n of_o god_n which_o he_o therefore_o do_v because_o his_o own_o sense_n and_o experience_n in_o conjunction_n with_o reason_n and_o scripture_n and_o the_o consent_n of_o other_o man_n assure_v he_o past_o all_o doubt_n that_o this_o be_v the_o best_a temper_n and_o that_o no_o life_n can_v be_v so_o good_a as_o that_o of_o love_n and_o benignity_n and_o thence_o he_o firm_o conclude_v this_o must_v be_v the_o nature_n the_o life_n of_o god_n himself_o this_o sense_n as_o i_o say_v take_v away_o all_o that_o obscurity_n and_o those_o doubt_n which_o may_v remain_v notwithstanding_o all_o that_o be_v reveal_v in_o scripture_n or_o discourse_v by_o reason_n or_o report_v by_o other_o men._n for_o we_o may_v suspect_v that_o we_o misunderstand_v the_o text_n or_o that_o our_o reason_n be_v short_a be_v conversant_a in_o divine_a matter_n and_o the_o testimony_n of_o man_n leave_v room_n for_o doubt_v but_o what_o we_o feel_v we_o can_v doubt_v but_o the_o man_n of_o goodwill_n he_o can_v in_o the_o least_o question_n whether_o the_o life_n of_o benevolence_n be_v not_o the_o best_a and_o consequent_o the_o divine_a life_n and_o this_o will_v engage_v he_o to_o give_v god_n the_o worship_n that_o be_v due_a to_o he_o that_o be_v to_o love_v and_o trust_v he_o he_o that_o know_v and_o feel_v the_o goodness_n of_o god_n he_o must_v goodwill_n when_o he_o view_v the_o creation_n of_o god_n and_o behold_v how_o good_a he_o make_v all_o thing_n and_o with_o how_o great_a wisdom_n he_o conduct_n they_o all_o to_o the_o end_n of_o their_o being_n their_o utmost_a perfection_n and_o chief_a excellence_n more_o especial_o when_o he_o consider_v in_o what_o condition_n and_o place_n god_n have_v set_v man_n to_o be_v lord_n of_o this_o inferior_a world_n how_o he_o have_v give_v he_o a_o understanding_n in_o the_o use_n of_o which_o he_o may_v enjoy_v god_n and_o himself_o and_o all_o thing_n and_o may_v make_v his_o abide_v here_o easy_a and_o delightful_a to_o he_o and_o may_v by_o the_o use_n of_o his_o reason_n and_o the_o government_n of_o himself_o according_a to_o the_o rule_n of_o virtue_n raise_v himself_o above_o the_o calamity_n of_o this_o state_n and_o may_v serve_v himself_o and_o his_o happiness_n of_o all_o that_o befall_v he_o may_v make_v the_o most_o unhappy_a circumstance_n he_o can_v be_v in_o serviceable_a to_o his_o best_a interest_n when_o he_o consider_v all_o these_o wonder_n of_o goodness_n that_o appear_v in_o the_o creation_n and_o providence_n of_o god_n he_o adore_v this_o great_a benefactor_n and_o praise_n the_o great_a creator_n and_o preserver_n and_o governor_n of_o the_o world_n and_o when_o he_o further_o consider_v those_o astonish_a passage_n of_o divine_a goodness_n in_o the_o redemption_n of_o the_o world_n by_o christ_n and_o see_v the_o good_a that_o have_v come_v to_o man_n by_o that_o miraculous_a incarnation_n of_o the_o son_n of_o god_n by_o his_o life_n and_o death_n his_o doctrine_n and_o his_o work_n and_o the_o great_a good_a that_o be_v design_v and_o how_o god_n be_v never_o want_v to_o do_v all_o that_o on_o his_o part_n be_v to_o be_v do_v for_o the_o attain_n it_o this_o fill_v he_o with_o love_n and_o wonder_n and_o make_v he_o break_v forth_o in_o praise_n of_o the_o divine_a philanthropy_n and_o when_o this_o good_a man_n
