for_o all_o the_o pleasure_n of_o sin_n forfeit_v the_o comfort_n of_o a_o righteous_a soul_n leave_v this_o world_n full_a of_o the_o hope_n of_o immortality_n and_o endure_v the_o vexation_n and_o anguish_n of_o a_o guilty_a conscience_n and_o that_o infinite_a terror_n and_o amazement_n which_o so_o frequent_o possess_v the_o soul_n of_o a_o die_a sinner_n 3._o if_o there_o be_v any_o spark_n intend_v to_o express_v to_o we_o both_o the_o happiness_n of_o our_o future_a state_n and_o the_o way_n and_o means_n whereby_o we_o be_v prepare_v and_o make_v meet_v to_o be_v make_v partaker_n of_o it_o and_o that_o be_v by_o the_o constant_a and_o sincere_a endeavour_n of_o a_o holy_a and_o good_a life_n for_o it_o be_v they_o only_o that_o have_v their_o fruit_n unto_o holiness_n who_o angel_n answerable_o to_o the_o unspeakable_a greatness_n and_o glory_n of_o they_o and_o if_o i_o be_v able_a to_o declare_v they_o unto_o you_o as_o they_o deserve_v you_o will_v not_o be_v able_a to_o hear_v i_o and_o therefore_o i_o shall_v choose_v to_o say_v but_o little_a upon_o a_o argument_n of_o which_o i_o can_v never_o say_v enough_o and_o shall_v very_o brief_o consider_v those_o disaffect_v to_o our_o own_o interest_n such_o a_o man_n be_v all_o the_o while_n self-condemned_n and_o act_n with_o the_o perpetual_a regret_n of_o his_o reason_n and_o conscience_n and_o when_o ever_o he_o reflect_v upon_o himself_o he_o be_v offend_v and_o angry_a with_o himself_o his_o life_n and_o all_o his_o action_n be_v uneasy_a and_o displease_v to_o he_o and_o there_o be_v no_o way_n passion_n and_o vicious_a inclination_n which_o transport_v and_o hurry_v he_o to_o the_o vile_a and_o most_o unreasonable_a thing_n for_o a_o wicked_a man_n be_v a_o slave_n to_o as_o many_o master_n as_o he_o have_v passion_n and_o vice_n and_o they_o be_v very_o imperious_a and_o exact_v and_o the_o more_o he_o yield_v to_o they_o the_o more_o they_o grow_v upon_o he_o and_o exercise_v the_o great_a tyranny_n over_o he_o and_o be_v subject_a to_o so_o many_o master_n the_o poor_a slave_n be_v continual_o divide_v and_o distract_v between_o their_o contrary_a command_n and_o imposition_n one_o passion_n hurry_v he_o one_o way_n and_o another_o as_o violent_o drive_v he_o another_o one_o lust_n command_v he_o upon_o such_o a_o service_n and_o another_o it_o may_v be_v at_o the_o same_o time_n call_v he_o to_o another_o work_n his_o pride_n and_o ambition_n bid_v he_o spend_v and_o lay_v it_o out_o whilst_o his_o covetousness_n hold_v his_o hand_n fast_o close_v so_o that_o he_o make_v slave_n against_o their_o will_n and_o be_v bring_v under_o the_o force_n and_o power_n of_o other_o who_o they_o be_v not_o able_a to_o resist_v but_o the_o sinner_n choose_v this_o servitude_n and_o willing_o put_v his_o neck_n under_o this_o yoke_n there_o be_v few_o man_n in_o the_o world_n so_o sick_a of_o their_o liberty_n and_o so_o weary_a of_o their_o own_o happiness_n as_o to_o choose_v this_o condition_n but_o the_o sinner_n sell_v himself_o and_o voluntary_o part_n with_o that_o liberty_n which_o he_o may_v keep_v and_o which_o none_o can_v take_v from_o he_o and_o which_o make_v this_o condition_n yet_o more_o intolerable_a he_o make_v himself_o a_o slave_n to_o his_o own_o servant_n to_o those_o who_o be_v bear_v to_o be_v subject_a to_o he_o to_o his_o own_o appetite_n and_o passion_n and_o this_o certain_o be_v the_o worst_a kind_n of_o slavery_n so_o much_o worse_a than_o that_o of_o mine_n and_o galley_n as_o the_o soul_n be_v more_o noble_a and_o excellent_a than_o the_o body_n man_n be_v not_o usual_o so_o sensible_a of_o the_o misery_n of_o this_o kind_n of_o servitude_n because_o they_o be_v govern_v by_o sense_n more_o than_o reason_n but_o according_a to_o a_o true_a judgement_n and_o estimation_n of_o thing_n a_o vicious_a course_n life_n be_v the_o sad_a slavery_n of_o all_o other_o and_o therefore_o the_o gospel_n represent_v it_o as_o a_o design_n every_o way_n worthy_a of_o the_o son_n of_o god_n to_o come_v down_o from_o heaven_n and_o to_o debase_v himself_o so_o far_o as_o to_o assume_v our_o nature_n and_o to_o submit_v to_o the_o death_n of_o the_o cross_n on_o purpose_n to_o rescue_v we_o from_o this_o slavery_n and_o to_o assert_v we_o into_o the_o liberty_n of_o the_o son_n of_o god_n and_o
