and_o which_o possible_o you_o have_v not_o observe_v it_o seem_v plain_a enough_o in_o the_o apostolical_a doctrine_n that_o even_o such_o person_n who_o unwary_o join_v in_o divide_v and_o rend_v the_o church_n though_o they_o hold_v fast_o the_o fundamental_a doctrine_n of_o religion_n and_o a_o care_n of_o many_o other_o duty_n of_o a_o holy_a life_n yet_o for_o this_o miscarriage_n and_o their_o persist_v therein_o they_o diminish_v their_o future_a happiness_n and_o the_o degree_n of_o glory_n which_o they_o may_v otherwise_o attain_v unto_o in_o the_o other_o world_n for_o the_o proof_n whereof_o i_o shall_v give_v some_o account_n of_o the_o three_o chapter_n of_o the_o first_o epistle_n to_o the_o corinthian_n 13._o when_o the_o apostle_n reflect_v upon_o the_o strife_n and_o division_n of_o the_o church_n of_o corinth_n he_o thence_o pronounce_v they_o to_o be_v carnal_a and_o babe_n in_o christ_n 1_o cor._n 3.1_o 3_o 4._o or_o that_o they_o be_v of_o the_o low_a man_n day_n ch._n 4.3_o be_v manifest_a from_o ch._n 3.8_o and_o especial_o from_o ch._n 4.4_o 5._o he_o acquaint_v they_o that_o he_o who_o shall_v build_v upon_o this_o foundation_n gold_n and_o silver_n and_o precious_a stone_n and_o who_o work_n shall_v abide_v that_o be_v who_o shall_v keep_v close_o to_o the_o integrity_n of_o the_o christian_a faith_n and_o doctrine_n and_o to_o the_o purity_n of_o the_o christian_a life_n and_o therein_o to_o christian_a unity_n which_o be_v one_o great_a duty_n thereof_o and_o a_o mean_n of_o growth_n therein_o v._n 1.3_o 4._o he_o shall_v receive_v a_o reward_n v._o 12.14_o or_o obtain_v great_a and_o perfect_a happiness_n 15._o and_o he_o let_v they_o know_v that_o they_o who_o build_v hay_n and_o stubble_n upon_o this_o foundation_n build_v strife_n faction_n or_o division_n shall_v suffer_v loss_n or_o these_o though_o they_o act_v from_o mistake_a zeal_n or_o from_o some_o other_o principle_n which_o be_v not_o inconsistent_a with_o all_o integrity_n of_o heart_n they_o shall_v with_o respect_n to_o another_o world_n have_v abatement_n of_o reward_n though_o they_o shall_v be_v save_v as_o by_o fire_n or_o with_o appearance_n of_o difficulty_n and_o danger_n and_o beside_o the_o evidence_n that_o this_o truth_n have_v from_o the_o scope_n series_n and_o connexion_n of_o this_o apostolical_a discourse_n it_o be_v manifest_a of_o itself_o that_o such_o division_n as_o these_o at_o corinth_n be_v which_o be_v so_o much_o decry_v and_o condemn_v in_o the_o doctrine_n of_o christianity_n must_v be_v reckon_v among_o those_o work_n which_o shall_v not_o abide_v but_o be_v burn_v to_o the_o loss_n of_o they_o who_o be_v engage_v in_o they_o and_o they_o who_o be_v babe_n and_o carnal_a ver_fw-la 1_o 3._o the_o genuine_a purity_n of_o the_o church_n of_o god_n in_o doctrine_n or_o practice_n or_o who_o defile_v themselves_o by_o any_o vice_n and_o particulaly_a who_o so_o engage_v in_o division_n as_o person_n be_v here_o ordinary_o so_o far_o please_v with_o and_o ready_a to_o justify_v and_o approve_v their_o miscarriage_n that_o they_o be_v not_o willing_a to_o examine_v their_o own_o error_n
