his_o own_o will_n but_o of_o his_o that_o speak_v in_o he_o the_o which_o notwithstanding_o we_o read_v not_o that_o he_o himself_o sustain_v for_o indeed_o the_o course_n of_o his_o apostleship_n stand_v not_o with_o it_o neither_o do_v he_o say_v if_o therefore_o you_o have_v any_o secular_a controversy_n bring_v they_o before_o we_o or_o appoint_v we_o to_o give_v judgement_n of_o they_o and_o some_o thing_n therefore_o to_o be_v account_v good_a because_o they_o be_v command_v by_o god_n who_o require_v such_o thing_n of_o man_n for_o some_o especial_a cause_n now_o those_o thing_n which_o be_v of_o the_o first_o sort_n and_o section_n be_v under_o a_o constant_a and_o perpetual_a law_n and_o not_o to_o be_v change_v by_o any_o mean_n but_o there_o be_v not_o the_o like_a israel_n be_v sometime_o in_o egypt_n or_o at_o babylon_n i_o touch_v not_o now_o that_o state_n of_o a_o commonwealth_n in_o the_o which_o the_o headstrong_a people_n be_v distract_v into_o diverse_a faction_n and_o the_o headless_a church_n be_v dismember_v under_o the_o same_o magistrate_n that_o be_v a_o weighty_a matter_n indeed_o and_o such_o as_o require_v a_o proper_a treatise_n of_o of_o both_o name_n the_o order_n appoint_v by_o god_n be_v keep_v and_o those_o thing_n remain_v diverse_a which_o in_o nature_n be_v distinct_a there_o be_v nothing_o in_o the_o gospel_n that_o forbid_v the_o same_o in_o that_o a_o man_n be_v pastor_n of_o the_o people_n or_o bishop_n of_o the_o church_n he_o hold_v of_o christ_n in_o that_o he_o be_v a_o subject_n and_o a_o tenant_n to_o the_o commonwealth_n he_o hold_v of_o the_o prince_n that_o he_o may_v perform_v his_o duty_n to_o both_o these_o he_o be_v not_o constrain_v to_o give_v over_o either_o of_o these_o the_o same_o man_n may_v give_v unto_o caesar_n those_o thing_n which_o be_v caesar_n and_o nevertheless_o perform_v that_o unto_o god_n which_o be_v due_a unto_o god_n a_o bishop_n as_o he_o be_v a_o pastor_n do_v owe_v unto_o christ_n a_o vigilant_a care_n over_o the_o flock_n commit_v unto_o his_o charge_n and_o as_o he_o be_v a_o subject_n and_o free_a citizen_n he_o owe_v unto_o his_o prince_n faithful_a obedience_n dutiful_a homage_n and_o all_o other_o kind_n of_o lawful_a service_n if_o it_o shall_v so_o fall_v out_o at_o this_o day_n as_o it_o have_v do_v full_a oft_o and_o full_a well_o that_o some_o nobleman_n hold_v in_o fee_n of_o the_o king_n shall_v be_v call_v unto_o the_o ministry_n as_o one_o which_o have_v sufficient_a learning_n and_o no_o less_o devotion_n the_o doctrine_n of_o the_o gospel_n do_v not_o prohibit_v that_o such_o a_o man_n shall_v be_v make_v a_o bishop_n and_o yet_o retain_v his_o free_a hold_n and_o the_o royalty_n belong_v there-unto_a always_o to_o be_v consider_v that_o the_o law_n of_o the_o commonwealth_n permit_v the_o same_o neither_o be_v there_o any_o cause_n why_o any_o man_n shall_v think_v that_o this_o bishop_n will_v be_v carry_v away_o with_o his_o secular_a affair_n from_o his_o pastoral_a charge_n for_o if_o there_o be_v any_o fear_n of_o god_n in_o he_o and_o if_o he_o have_v any_o care_n of_o the_o church_n surplusage_n of_o as_o much_o time_n from_o their_o secular_a affair_n to_o dispend_v in_o idle_a repast_n as_o may_v well_o suffice_v a_o pastoral_n charge_n and_o therefore_o it_o be_v not_o the_o possession_n of_o the_o king_n farm_n and_o fee_n which_o do_v so_o alienate_v a_o man_n as_o that_o he_o can_v be_v both_o lord_n of_o they_o and_o a_o good_a bishop_n too_o and_o therefore_o if_o any_o christian_n king_n shall_v think_v it_o behooful_a either_o for_o the_o honour_n of_o his_o estate_n or_o the_o stay_n of_o the_o commonwealth_n that_o certain_a bb._n of_o the_o church_n therefore_o to_o require_v in_o lieu_n of_o they_o any_o temporal_a recompense_n or_o civil_a obsequy_n be_v a_o thing_n no_o less_o preposterous_a then_o irreligious_a but_o fee_n be_v grant_v upon_o that_o condition_n that_o the_o feudatory_a recognize_v his_o patron_n in_o some_o kind_n of_o personal_a or_o proportionable_a duty_n &_o therefore_o our_o ancestor_n have_v not_o well_o do_v to_o
