with_o any_o other_o external_a and_o ceremonial_a worship_n than_o be_v warrant_v in_o his_o word_n by_o his_o own_o allowance_n yet_o if_o any_o thing_n be_v vary_v which_o be_v not_o command_v of_o god_n or_o add_v not_o as_o essential_a but_o accidental_a and_o not_o as_o necessary_a but_o as_o indifferent_a pertain_v to_o comeliness_n order_n and_o edification_n we_o can_v think_v that_o there_o be_v any_o change_n in_o the_o worship_n command_v nor_o any_o new_a worship_n bring_v in_o without_o warrant_n for_o example_n christ_n celebrate_v the_o supper_n at_o evening_n the_o apostle_n and_o the_o church_n after_o they_o in_o the_o morning_n shall_v we_o say_v therefore_o any_o thing_n be_v add_v or_o detract_v in_o this_o sacrament_n no_o because_o christ_n do_v not_o command_v that_o this_o shall_v be_v celebrate_v in_o the_o evening_n as_o he_o do_v but_o only_o that_o we_o shall_v do_v that_o which_o he_o do_v not_o at_o that_o time_n wherein_o he_o do_v it_o so_o that_o the_o ancient_a church_n as_o we_o may_v read_v in_o justin_n martyr_n mingle_v and_o delay_v the_o wine_n with_o water_n do_v not_o therefore_o or_o thereby_o change_v the_o institution_n of_o the_o supper_n whereof_o there_o may_v be_v a_o twofolde_a reason_n one_o that_o the_o wine_n which_o christ_n give_v to_o his_o disciple_n may_v be_v so_o allay_v for_o any_o thing_n we_o know_v see_v the_o apostle_n have_v set_v nothing_o down_o to_o the_o contrary_a and_o therefore_o probable_a that_o the_o ancient_a church_n receive_v it_o from_o they_o second_o because_o the_o ancient_a church_n do_v not_o add_v â—his_n in_o the_o sacrament_n as_o a_o essential_a necessary_a thing_n pertain_v to_o the_o substance_n of_o the_o supper_n christ._n but_o as_o accidental_a to_o signify_v a_o mystery_n the_o like_a may_v be_v say_v of_o many_o thing_n in_o baptism_n where_o either_o by_o add_v or_o detract_n to_o alter_v thing_n otherwise_o not_o essential_a in_o baptism_n and_o therein_o still_o follow_v the_o law_n and_o ceremony_n of_o that_o church_n wherein_o we_o live_v be_v not_o to_o change_v either_o the_o sacrament_n of_o christ_n or_o to_o profane_v it_o by_o
