spiritual_a and_o temporal_a in_o parliament_n assemble_v the_o humble_a petition_n of_o anthony_n earl_n of_o shaftsbury_n show_n that_o your_o petitioner_n on_o the_o 16_o of_o february_n 1676._o be_v commit_v prisoner_n to_o the_o tower_n of_o london_n by_o your_o lordship_n because_o he_o do_v not_o obey_v your_o lordship_n order_n where_o he_o have_v continue_v in_o close_a confinement_n to_o the_o great_a decay_n of_o his_o health_n and_o danger_n of_o his_o life_n as_o well_o as_o prejudice_v of_o his_o estate_n and_o family_n in_o all_o humble_a obedience_n therefore_o unto_o return_v thereupon_o be_v read_v by_o which_o it_o do_v appear_v that_o the_o earl_n have_v be_v commit_v the_o 16_o of_o february_n 1676._o for_o a_o contempt_n commit_v against_o the_o house_n of_o lord_n and_o then_o the_o remitture_v of_o the_o earl_n to_o the_o tower_n be_v read_v after_o this_o a_o petition_n from_o his_o lordship_n to_o the_o house_n be_v read_v wherein_o he_o take_v notice_n of_o a_o order_n of_o the_o house_n for_o bring_v thither_o the_o record_n of_o the_o kings-bench_n court_n concern_v the_o matter_n of_o a_o habeas_fw-la corpus_fw-la bring_v by_o he_o reason_n of_o his_o close_a confinement_n yet_o he_o resolve_v not_o to_o do_v any_o thing_n willing_o that_o may_v in_o the_o least_o offend_v his_o majesty_n or_o their_o lordship_n and_o therefore_o humble_o lay_v hold_n of_o that_o opportunity_n to_o give_v further_a evidence_n thereof_o by_o cast_v himself_o at_o their_o lordship_n foot_n and_o as_o he_o humble_o beg_v the_o
