four_o canon_n against_o socinianism_n therein_o also_o these_o canon-maker_n have_v assume_v to_o themselves_o a_o parliament_n power_n in_o determine_v a_o heresy_n not_o determine_v by_o law_n which_o be_v express_o reserve_v to_o the_o determination_n of_o a_o parliament_n it_o be_v true_a they_o say_v it_o be_v a_o complication_n of_o many_o heresy_n condemn_v in_o the_o four_o first_o counsel_n but_o they_o do_v not_o say_v what_o those_o heresy_n be_v and_o it_o be_v not_o possible_a that_o socinianism_n shall_v be_v formal_o condemn_v in_o these_o counsel_n for_o it_o be_v spring_v up_o but_o of_o late_a therefore_o they_o have_v take_v upon_o they_o to_o determine_v and_o damn_v a_o heresy_n and_o that_o so_o general_o as_o that_o it_o may_v be_v of_o very_o call_v a_o socinian_n i_o will_v not_o have_v any_o thing_n that_o i_o have_v say_v to_o be_v interpret_v as_o if_o i_o have_v speak_v it_o in_o favour_n of_o socinianism_n which_o if_o it_o be_v such_o as_o i_o apprehend_v it_o to_o be_v be_v indeed_o a_o most_o vile_a and_o damnable_a heresy_n and_o therefore_o the_o framer_n of_o these_o canon_n be_v the_o more_o to_o blame_v in_o the_o next_o canon_n against_o sectary_n wherein_o beside_o that_o in_o the_o preamble_n thereof_o they_o lay_v it_o down_o for_o a_o certain_a ground_n which_o the_o holy_a synod_n know_v full_a well_o that_o other_o sect_n which_o they_o extend_v not_o only_o to_o brownist_n and_o separatist_n but_o also_o to_o all_o person_n that_o for_o the_o space_n of_o a_o month_n do_v absent_a themselves_o without_o a_o reasonable_a cause_n from_o their_o own_o parish_n church_n do_v equal_o endeavour_v the_o subversion_n of_o the_o discipline_n and_o doctrine_n of_o the_o church_n of_o england_n with_o the_o papist_n although_o the_o worst_a of_o they_o do_v not_o bear_v any_o proportion_n in_o that_o respect_n to_o the_o papist_n i_o say_v beside_o that_o they_o make_v they_o equal_a in_o crime_n
