general_a massacre_n of_o their_o fellow_n christian_n or_o because_o they_o be_v only_o a_o few_o private_a man_n and_o their_o religion_n direct_o opposite_a to_o the_o law_n and_o government_n under_o which_o they_o live_v or_o the_o like_a not_o because_o they_o judge_v all_o resistance_n simple_o unlawful_a as_o conscience_n blind_a doctor_n falsey_n inform_v we_o which_o i_o shall_v prevent_v or_o redress_v it_o must_v certain_o be_v just_a be_v lawful_a in_o the_o court_n of_o conscience_n since_o that_o which_o be_v direct_o opposite_a to_o that_o which_o be_v simple_o ill_a and_o unjust_a must_v necessary_o be_v good_a and_o just_a but_o necessary_a just_a defence_n by_o force_n of_o arm_n be_v direct_o opposite_a to_o that_o open_a arm_a violence_n and_o tyranny_n which_o be_v absolute_o illegal_a and_o unjust_a in_o point_n of_o conscience_n and_o the_o chief_a lawful_a remedy_n and_o obstacle_n to_o prevent_v or_o redress_v it_o as_o reason_n experience_n and_o the_o premise_n evidence_n therefore_o it_o must_v necessary_o be_v just_a and_o lawful_a even_o in_o the_o court_n of_o conscience_n ten_o 10._o that_o resistance_n which_o do_v neither_o oppose_v the_o king_n royal_a person_n nor_o lawful_a authority_n must_v certain_o be_v lawful_a in_o point_n of_o conscience_n but_o the_o resistance_n of_o the_o king_n force_v not_o accompany_v with_o his_o person_n in_o the_o execution_n of_o his_o unjust_a command_n be_v neither_o a_o resistance_n of_o his_o royal_a person_n for_o that_o be_v absent_a and_o his_o cavalier_n i_o hope_v be_v no_o king_n nor_o yet_o invest_v with_o the_o privilege_n of_o king_n nor_o yet_o of_o his_o lawful_a authority_n his_o illegal_a commission_n and_o command_n be_v mere_a nullity_n in_o law_n transfer_v no_o particle_n of_o his_o just_a authority_n to_o those_o who_o execute_v they_o therefore_o it_o must_v certain_o be_v lawful_a in_o point_n of_o conscience_n eleven_o 11._o that_o resistance_n which_o be_v the_o only_a remedy_n to_o keep_v not_o only_a king_n themselves_o but_o every_o one_o of_o their_o officer_n and_o soldier_n from_o be_v absolute_a tyrant_n monarch_n and_o the_o denial_n whereof_o equalize_v every_o soldier_n and_o particular_a officer_n to_o king_n yea_o god_n himself_o who_o prerogative_n only_o it_o be_v to_o have_v a_o 20._o absolute_a unresistable_a will_n must_v doubtless_o be_v lawful_a in_o the_o court_n of_o conscience_n but_o this_o necessary_a defensive_a resistance_n now_o use_v by_o the_o parliament_n and_o subject_n in_o such_o for_o if_o they_o may_v not_o resist_v any_o of_o the_o king_n officer_n or_o soldier_n in_o their_o plundering_n rapine_n fiering_n sacking_n of_o town_n beat_v wound_a murder_a the_o king_n liege_n people_n and_o the_o like_a will_v not_o every_o common_a soldier_n and_o officer_n be_v a_o absolute_a tyrant_n equal_a in_o monarchy_n to_o the_o great_a turk_n himself_o and_o paramount_n the_o king_n who_o have_v no_o absolute_a irresistible_a sovereignty_n in_o these_o particular_n either_o therefore_o this_o resistance_n must_v be_v grant_v not_o only_o as_o lawful_a but_o simple_o necessary_a else_o every_o officer_n and_o common_a soldier_n will_v be_v more_o than_o a_o absolute_a
