the_o town_n by_o who_o they_o be_v so_o employ_v shall_v be_v answerable_a and_o it_o be_v further_o enact_v that_o if_o any_o constable_n or_o collector_n shall_v be_v remiss_a and_o negligent_a of_o his_o duty_n in_o not_o levy_v and_o pay_v unto_o the_o treasurer_n his_o deputy_n or_o deputy_n such_o sum_n and_o sum_n of_o money_n as_o from_o time_n to_o time_n he_o shall_v have_v receive_v and_o as_o aught_o by_o he_o to_o have_v be_v pay_v within_o the_o respective_a time_n set_v and_o limit_v by_o the_o warrant_n or_o estreat_n to_o he_o commit_v pursuant_n to_o the_o act_n of_o hereafter_o assess_v to_o any_o public_a tax_n of_o the_o province_n for_o such_o house_n or_o land_n in_o his_o occupation_n the_o landlord_n shall_v reimburse_v the_o say_a fermer_n or_o occupier_n such_o sum_n and_o sum_n of_o money_n as_o he_o shall_v pay_v for_o the_o same_o where_o no_o particular_a contract_n be_v make_v to_o the_o contrary_n and_o further_o it_o be_v enact_v by_o the_o authority_n aforesaid_a that_o every_o person_n 〈◊〉_d â—…all_a 〈◊〉_d or_o neglectâ—…_n 〈…〉_o give_v in_o to_o the_o select-man_n a_o particular_a account_n of_o his_o estate_n shall_v be_v assess_v shall_v be_v a_o committee_n to_o take_v a_o account_n of_o the_o sum_n total_a of_o each_o list_n and_o if_o the_o whole_a shall_v not_o amount_v to_o the_o sum_n of_o thirty_o thousand_o pound_n
