double_a damage_n and_o that_o if_o such_o stuff_n upon_o trial_n shall_v be_v find_v by_o the_o jury_n to_o be_v good_a and_o due_o make_v or_o that_o they_o or_o the_o assistant_n or_o any_o of_o they_o be_v not_o guilty_a of_o any_o such_o fraud_n miscarriage_n or_o abuse_n as_o they_o be_v complain_v of_o for_o the_o person_n or_o person_n so_o causeless_o molest_v shall_v pay_v to_o the_o warden_n or_o assistant_n or_o any_o of_o they_o so_o unjust_o molest_v double_a the_o damage_n they_o or_o any_o of_o they_o shall_v or_o may_v sustain_v by_o any_o such_o molestation_n and_o be_v it_o further_o enact_v by_o the_o authority_n aforesaid_a unseal_v none_o may_v buy_v stuff_v unseal_v that_o it_o shall_v not_o be_v lawful_a for_o any_o person_n or_o person_n to_o buy_v any_o piece_n or_o piece_n of_o stuff_n before_o the_o same_o be_v seal_v by_o the_o warden_n of_o the_o say_a trade_n save_v to_o the_o king_n majesty_n his_o heir_n and_o successor_n all_o such_o right_n of_o custom_n subsidy_n and_o aulnage_n of_o norfolk_n and_o norwich-stuffs_a or_o worsted_n or_o any_o of_o they_o as_o he_o or_o they_o may_v lawful_o have_v claim_v before_o the_o make_n of_o and_o fit_a time_n between_o the_o first_o of_o may_n and_o the_o last_o of_o august_n hire_v labourer_n workman_n cart_n and_o carriage_n for_o amend_v the_o highway_n street_n parish-bridge_n aforesaid_a and_o watercourse_n and_o shall_v cause_v they_o to_o be_v well_o and_o sufficient_o mend_v workman_n the_o surveyor_n may_v charge_v cart_n and_o workman_n and_o for_o the_o better_a effect_v thereof_o be_v it_o enact_v by_o the_o authority_n aforesaid_a that_o the_o say_a surveyor_n or_o any_o of_o they_o within_o their_o several_a limit_n and_o jurisdiction_n may_v yearly_o as_o he_o shall_v see_v cause_n and_o need_v require_v direct_v and_o appoint_v every_o person_n and_o person_n who_o by_o the_o former_a law_n and_o statute_n of_o this_o realm_n be_v chargeable_a with_o and_o appoint_v for_o which_o team_n work_n and_o labour_n the_o say_a surveyor_n shall_v pay_v unto_o such_o workman_n and_o owner_n of_o such_o team_n cart_n and_o wain_n according_a to_o the_o usual_a rate_n of_o the_o country_n for_o such_o work_n as_o they_o shall_v do_v over_o and_o above_o what_o by_o the_o other_o law_n make_v for_o the_o amend_v the_o highway_n they_o be_v appoint_v to_o do_v and_o if_o any_o question_n shall_v arise_v about_o the_o value_n or_o worth_n of_o such_o work_n or_o labour_n for_o man_n or_o team_n some_o justice_n of_o the_o peace_n near_o adjoin_v and_o not_o live_v in_o the_o say_a parish_n shall_v determine_v what_o be_v fit_a to_o be_v allow_v for_o such_o work_n neglect_v penaly_n upon_o such_o as_o refuse_v or_o neglect_v and_o in_o case_n repair_v and_o amend_v by_o such_o parish_n or_o parish_n town_n hamlet_z or_o village_n or_o by_o such_o person_n and_o person_n and_o in_o such_o manner_n and_o form_n as_o the_o say_v old_a and_o of_o the_o sum_n of_o money_n assess_v on_o he_o or_o they_o complain_v to_o two_o or_o more_o commissioner_n whereof_o one_o of_o the_o commissioner_n who_o sign_v or_o allow_v he_o or_o their_o person_n who_o be_v or_o shall_v be_v in_o muster_n and_o pay_v at_o land_n or_o sea_n only_o except_v and_o all_o and_o every_o their_o deputy_n agent_n clerk_n secondary_n substistute_n and_o other_o their_o inferior_a minister_n and_o servant_n whatsoever_o who_o be_v already_o tax_v in_o and_o to_o the_o say_v monthly_a assessment_n for_o and_o in_o respect_n of_o their_o office_n already_o tax_v in_o and_o by_o the_o say_v monthly_a assessment_n for_o and_o in_o respect_n of_o their_o commission_n office_n agency_n and_o employment_n shall_v yield_v and_o pay_v unto_o his_o majesty_n the_o full_a sum_n of_o three_o shilling_n for_o every_o twenty_o shilling_n which_o he_o or_o they_o do_v receive_v in_o one_o year_n by_o virtue_n of_o any_o fee_n profit_n perquisites_n or_o other_o advantage_n to_o he_o or_o they_o accrue_v or_o by_o reason_n or_o occasion_n of_o their_o several_a and_o respective_a commission_n office_n agency_n and_o employment_n the_o say_v as_o be_v herein_o after_o mention_v allow_v to_o every_o such_o officer_n and_o commissioner_n one_o three_o part_n of_o the_o annual_a salary_n or_o sum_n of_o money_n he_o shall_v so_o receive_v for_o and_o towards_o he_o or_o their_o charge_n of_o execute_v any_o such_o commission_n office_n or_o place_n before_o mention_v and_o be_v it_o further_o enact_v by_o the_o authority_n aforesaid_a majesty_n pension_n and_o stipend_n from_o his_o majesty_n that_o all_o and_o every_o other_o person_n and_o person_n have_v or_o claim_v to_o have_v any_o pension_n or_o yearly_a stipend_n or_o annuity_n by_o virtue_n of_o any_o gift_n or_o grant_v from_o his_o majesty_n under_o his_o great_a seal_n or_o privy_a seal_n shall_v pay_v unto_o his_o majesty_n the_o sum_n of_o three_o shilling_n for_o every_o twenty_o shilling_n by_o the_o year_n so_o give_v or_o grant_v as_o aforesaid_a to_o be_v assess_v employ_v levy_v and_o collect_v in_o such_o manner_n as_o be_v herein_o after_o mention_v and_o be_v it_o further_o enact_v by_o the_o authority_n aforesaid_a that_o all_o sergeant_n at_o law_n counsellor_n physician_n sergeant_n at_o law_n counsellor_n attorney_n solicitor_n scrivener_n advocate_n proctor_n notary_n physician_n attorney_n solicitor_n and_o scrivener_n and_o all_o advocate_n proctor_n and_o public_a notary_n and_o all_o and_o every_o person_n and_o person_n practise_v the_o art_n of_o physic_n shall_v pay_v unto_o his_o majesty_n the_o sum_n of_o two_o shilling_n
for_o every_o twenty_o shilling_n which_o he_o or_o they_o do_v receive_v by_o his_o and_o their_o respective_a practice_n and_o profession_n in_o one_o year_n allow_v to_o every_o such_o person_n and_o person_n of_o the_o several_a profession_n aforesaid_a one_o three_o part_n out_o of_o such_o money_n as_o he_o or_o they_o shall_v so_o receive_v in_o their_o respective_a practice_n and_o profession_n for_o and_o towards_o the_o charge_n and_o expense_n occasion_v by_o his_o or_o their_o attendance_n upon_o his_o or_o their_o practice_n or_o profession_n aforesaid_a and_o all_o and_o every_o servant_n wage_n servant_n wage_n which_o at_o the_o time_n of_o the_o execution_n of_o this_o act_n shall_v receive_v wage_n for_o he_o she_o or_o their_o service_n shall_v pay_v unto_o his_o majesty_n the_o sum_n of_o twelve_o penny_n for_o every_o twenty_o shilling_n by_o the_o year_n which_o shall_v be_v due_a or_o payable_a to_o he_o her_z or_o they_o for_o his_o her_z or_o their_o wage_n except_o for_o board-wage_n and_o all_o and_o every_o person_n and_o person_n shall_v pay_v unto_o his_o majesty_n the_o sum_n of_o twelve_o penny_n over_o and_o above_o the_o other_o rate_n case_n any_o servant_n shall_v upon_o the_o demand_n of_o such_o assessment_n or_o money_n as_o be_v due_a from_o he_o or_o she_o by_o virtue_n of_o this_o act_n refuse_v or_o neglect_v to_o pay_v the_o same_o to_o the_o respective_a collector_n in_o such_o case_n his_o or_o their_o master_n or_o mistress_n shall_v pay_v such_o servant_n assessment_n and_o it_o shall_v then_o be_v lawful_a for_o such_o master_n or_o mistress_n to_o deduct_v and_o stop_v the_o same_o out_o of_o such_o wage_n as_o shall_v or_o aught_o to_o be_v next_o pay_v unto_o such_o servant_n any_o law_n or_o custom_n to_o the_o contrary_a notwithstanding_o provide_v always_o that_o no_o person_n who_o receive_v alm_n from_o the_o parish_n exempt_v person_n receive_v alm_n exempt_v nor_o the_o child_n of_o shilling_n in_o respect_n of_o his_o title_n and_o be_v it_o further_o enact_v and_o ordain_v that_o all_o and_o every_o the_o person_n and_o person_n within_o the_o kingdom_n of_o england_n dominion_n of_o wales_n and_o town_n of_o berwick_n upon_o tweed_n who_o at_o the_o time_n of_o the_o execution_n of_o this_o act_n degree_n order_n rank_n and_o degree_n shall_v be_v of_o the_o several_a order_n rank_n or_o degree_n hereafter_o mention_v shall_v to_o the_o purpose_n aforesaid_a pay_v the_o several_a sum_n of_o money_n hereafter_o in_o this_o act_n set_v down_o and_o appoint_v bishop_n archbishop_n bishop_n that_o be_v to_o say_v every_o person_n of_o the_o order_n and_o degree_n of_o a_o archbishop_n shall_v pay_v the_o sum_n of_o fifty_o pound_n every_o person_n of_o the_o order_n and_o degree_n of_o a_o bishop_n the_o sum_n of_o twenty_o pound_n dean_n dean_n every_o person_n of_o the_o degree_n of_o a_o dean_n of_o any_o cathedral_n or_o collegiate_n church_n shall_v pay_v the_o sum_n of_o ten_o pound_n archdeacon_n archdeacon_n every_o person_n of_o the_o degree_n of_o a_o archdeacon_n shall_v pay_v the_o sum_n of_o forty_o
money_n as_o shall_v be_v pay_v by_o they_o in_o pursuance_n of_o this_o act_n which_o acquittance_n shall_v be_v a_o full_a discharge_v to_o the_o say_v head-collectors_a and_o subcollector_n respective_o acquittance_n acquittance_n and_o the_o say_v subcollector_n shall_v make_v and_o deliver_v to_o the_o say_v head-collectors_a a_o perfect_a schedule_n fair_o write_v in_o parchment_n under_o their_o hand_n and_o seal_n sign_v and_o allow_v by_o any_o two_o or_o more_o of_o the_o respective_a commissioner_n contain_v the_o name_n surname_n and_o place_n of_o abode_n of_o every_o person_n within_o their_o respective_a collection_n that_o shall_v make_v default_n of_o payment_n of_o any_o of_o the_o sum_n that_o shall_v be_v rate_v or_o assess_v on_o such_o person_n by_o virtue_n of_o this_o act_n and_o the_o sum_n and_o sum_n charge_v on_o every_o such_o person_n the_o same_o schedule_n to_o be_v deliver_v by_o the_o head-collector_n to_o the_o receiver-general_a of_o that_o county_n city_n town_n or_o liberty_n respective_o to_o be_v by_o he_o return_v into_o his_o majesty_n exchequer_n whereupon_o every_o person_n so_o make_v default_n of_o payment_n may_v be_v charge_v by_o process_n of_o the_o court_n according_a to_o the_o course_n thereof_o in_o that_o behalf_n degree_n none_o shall_v be_v double_o charge_v for_o his_o title_n or_o degree_n provide_v always_o and_o be_v it_o enact_v that_o no_o person_n shall_v by_o virtue_n of_o this_o act_n be_v double_o charge_v for_o or_o in_o respect_n of_o several_a title_n honour_n or_o degree_n but_o that_o every_o such_o person_n shall_v be_v charge_v and_o assess_v for_o such_o title_n honour_n or_o degree_n only_o as_o be_v high_a rate_v by_o this_o act._n tax_n not_o letter_n patent_n of_o exemption_n allowable_a against_o this_o tax_n and_o be_v it_o further_o enact_v by_o the_o authority_n aforesaid_a that_o no_o letter_n patent_n grant_v by_o the_o king_n majesty_n or_o any_o of_o his_o royal_a progenitor_n or_o to_o be_v grant_v by_o his_o majesty_n to_o any_o person_n or_o person_n city_n borough_n or_o town_n corporate_a within_o this_o realm_n of_o any_o manner_n of_o liberty_n privilege_n or_o exemption_n from_o subsidy_n toll_n tax_n assessment_n or_o aid_n shall_v be_v construe_v or_o take_v to_o exempt_v any_o person_n or_o person_n city_n borough_n or_o town-corporate_a or_o any_o the_o inhabitant_n of_o the_o same_o from_o the_o burden_n and_o charge_n of_o any_o sum_n or_o sum_n of_o money_n grant_v by_o this_o act_n or_o any_o other_o act_n of_o this_o parliament_n now_o in_o force_n to_o the_o aid_n and_o supply_v of_o his_o majesty_n in_o the_o present_a war_n and_o all_o non-obstantes_a in_o any_o such_o letter_n patent_n make_v or_o to_o be_v make_v in_o bar_n of_o any_o act_n or_o act_n of_o parliament_n for_o the_o supply_n or_o assistance_n of_o his_o majesty_n be_v hereby_o declare_v to_o be_v void_a and_o of_o none_o effect_n obstante_fw-la non_fw-la obstante_fw-la any_o such_o letter_n patent_n grant_n or_o chatter_v or_o any_o clause_n of_o non_fw-la obstante_fw-la or_o other_o matter_n or_o thing_n therein_o contain_v or_o any_o law_n or_o statute_n to_o the_o contrary_a notwithstanding_o act._n no_o former_a receiver_n not_o have_v account_v may_v be_v a_o receiver_n upon_o this_o act._n provide_v always_o and_o be_v it_o enact_v by_o the_o authority_n aforesaid_a that_o if_o any_o person_n be_v a_o receiver_n of_o money_n due_a upon_o any_o former_a act_n of_o this_o present_a parliament_n not_o have_v account_v for_o all_o the_o money_n by_o he_o receive_v and_o to_o be_v account_v for_o upon_o such_o act_n or_o act_n before_o michaelmas_n one_o thousand_o six_o hundred_o sixty_o six_o shall_v be_v appoint_v receiver_n for_o any_o the_o money_n due_a by_o this_o act_n and_o shall_v intermeddle_v therein_o every_o such_o person_n shall_v forfeit_v the_o sum_n of_o five_o hundred_o pound_n to_o be_v recover_v by_o any_o person_n or_o person_n that_o will_v sue_v for_o the_o same_o in_o any_o of_o his_o majesty_n court_n of_o record_n by_o action_n of_o debt_n bill_n plaint_n or_o other_o and_o shall_v not_o be_v subject_a to_o the_o imprisonment_n of_o he_o or_o their_o person_n any_o thing_n in_o this_o act_n contain_v to_o the_o contrary_a in_o any_o wise_a notwithstandding_n and_o to_o the_o intent_n that_o all_o money_n to_o be_v lend_v to_o your_o majesty_n and_o the_o money_n that_o shall_v be_v due_a upon_o contract_n for_o ware_n ship_n good_n victual_n or_o other_o necessary_n which_o shall_v be_v deliver_v for_o this_o service_n may_v be_v well_o and_o sufficient_o secure_v out_o of_o the_o money_n arise_v and_o payable_a by_o this_o act._n be_v it_o further_o exchequer_n shall_v be_v enter_v and_o register_v apart_o and_o distinct_a from_o all_o other_o money_n pay_v or_o payable_a to_o your_o majesty_n or_o to_o your_o heir_n or_o successor_n upon_o any_o other_o branch_n of_o your_o revenue_n or_o upon_o other_o account_n whatsoever_o and_o that_o there_o be_v one_o other_o book_n or_o registry_n provide_v and_o keep_v in_o the_o say_a office_n of_o all_o order_n and_o warrant_n to_o be_v make_v by_o the_o lord_n treasurer_n and_o vnder-treasurer_n or_o by_o the_o commissioner_n of_o the_o treasury_n for_o the_o time_n be_v for_o payment_n of_o all_o and_o every_o sum_n and_o sum_n of_o money_n to_o all_o person_n for_o money_n lend_v wares_n good_n or_o victual_n or_o other_o necessary_n buy_v or_o ship_n hire_v or_o other_o payment_n direct_v by_o your_o majesty_n relate_v to_o the_o service_n of_o this_o war._n and_o that_o no_o money_n leviable_a by_o this_o act_n be_v issue_v out_o of_o the_o exchequer_n during_o this_o war_n but_o by_o such_o order_n or_o warrant_v mention_v that_o the_o money_n payable_a by_o such_o order_n or_o warrant_n be_v for_o the_o service_n of_o your_o majesty_n in_o the_o say_a war_n respective_o that_o also_o there_o be_v the_o like_a book_n or_o registry_n provide_v and_o keep_v by_o the_o say_a auditor_n of_o all_o money_n pay_v out_o or_o issue_v by_o virtue_n of_o such_o order_n and_o warrant_n and_o that_o it_o shall_v be_v lawful_a for_o any_o person_n or_o person_n willing_a to_o lend_v any_o money_n or_o to_o furnish_v any_o ware_n victual_n ship_n good_n or_o other_o necessary_n on_o the_o credit_n of_o this_o act_n at_o the_o usual_a time_n when_o the_o
their_o respective_a deputy_n and_o clerk_n herein_o offend_v be_v liable_a to_o such_o action_n debt_n damage_n and_o cost_v in_o such_o manner_n as_o aforesaid_a provide_v always_o and_o it_o be_v hereby_o declare_v that_o if_o it_o happen_v that_o several_a tally_n of_o loan_n or_o certificate_n for_o ware_n deliver_v or_o order_n for_o payment_n from_o his_o majesty_n as_o aforesaid_a bear_v date_n or_o be_v bring_v the_o same_o day_n to_o the_o auditor_n of_o the_o exchequer_n to_o be_v register_v then_o it_o shall_v be_v interpret_v no_o undue_a preference_n which_o of_o these_o he_o enter_v so_o he_o enter_v they_o all_o the_o same_o day_n provide_v also_o that_o it_o shall_v not_o be_v interpret_v any_o undue_a preference_n to_o incur_v any_o penalty_n in_o point_n of_o payment_n if_o the_o auditor_n direct_v and_o the_o clerk_n of_o the_o bell_n record_v and_o the_o teller_n do_v pay_v subsequent_a order_n of_o person_n that_o come_v to_o demand_v their_o money_n and_o bring_v their_o order_n before_o other_o person_n that_o do_v not_o come_v to_o demand_v their_o money_n and_o bring_v their_o order_n in_o their_o course_n so_o as_o there_o be_v so_o much_o money_n reserve_v as_o will_v satisfy_v their_o order_n which_o shall_v not_o be_v otherwise_o dispose_v but_o keep_v for_o they_o interest_n upon_o loan_n be_v to_o cease_v from_o the_o time_n the_o money_n be_v so_o reserve_v and_o keep_v in_o bank_n for_o they_o and_o be_v it_o further_o enact_v by_o the_o authority_n aforesaid_a that_o every_o person_n or_o person_n to_o who_o any_o money_n shall_v be_v due_a by_o virtue_n of_o this_o act_n after_o warrant_n or_o order_n enter_v for_o payment_n thereof_o his_o executor_n administrator_n or_o assign_v by_o endorsement_n of_o his_o order_n or_o warrant_n may_v assign_v and_o transfer_v his_o interest_n and_o benefit_n of_o such_o warrant_n to_o any_o other_o which_o be_v notify_v and_o a_o entry_n and_o memorial_n thereof_o also_o make_v in_o the_o say_a registry_n for_o warrant_n which_o the_o officer_n shall_v on_o request_n without_o fee_n or_o charge_n according_o make_v shall_v entitle_v such_o a_o assignée_n his_o executor_n administrator_n and_o assign_v to_o the_o benefit_n thereof_o and_o payment_n thereon_o and_o such_o assignée_n may_v in_o like_a manner_n assign_v again_o and_o so_o toties_fw-la quoties_fw-la and_o afterward_o it_o shall_v not_o be_v in_o the_o power_n of_o such_o person_n or_o person_n who_o have_v make_v such_o assignment_n to_o make_v void_a release_v or_o discharge_v the_o same_o or_o the_o money_n thereby_o due_a or_o any_o part_n thereof_o provide_v always_o and_o be_v it_o further_o enact_v by_o the_o authority_n aforesaid_a that_o the_o sum_n of_o three_o hundred_o and_o eighty_o thousand_o pound_n shall_v be_v charge_v and_o register_v in_o the_o book_n of_o register_n appoint_v by_o this_o act_n to_o be_v keep_v in_o the_o office_n of_o the_o auditor_n of_o the_o receipt_n of_o the_o exchequer_n to_o be_v pay_v to_o the_o treasurer_n of_o the_o navy_n for_o the_o time_n be_v out_o of_o the_o money_n payable_a for_o the_o last_o ten_o month_n of_o the_o eleven_o month_n assessment_n grant_v by_o this_o act_n for_o the_o salary_n and_o wage_n of_o such_o officer_n seaman_n mariner_n and_o soldier_n as_o be_v or_o shall_v be_v employ_v aboard_o your_o majesty_n navy_n for_o this_o present_a winter_n begin_v at_o the_o first_o day_n of_o january_n one_o thousand_o six_o hundred_o sixty_o six_o and_o aboard_o your_o majesty_n navy_n for_o the_o summer_n in_o the_o year_n of_o our_o lord_n one_o thousand_o six_o hundred_o sixty_o seven_o the_o say_v three_o hundred_o and_o eighty_o thousand_o pound_n to_o be_v charge_v and_o register_v as_o aforesaid_a in_o manner_n and_o form_n follow_v that_o be_v to_o say_v when_o order_n shall_v be_v first_o register_v for_o one_o hundred_o thousand_o pound_n for_o the_o service_n of_o the_o war_n to_o be_v pay_v out_o of_o the_o money_n arise_v upon_o the_o say_v ten_o month_n in_o course_n as_o be_v by_o this_o act_n direct_v and_o prescribe_v that_o then_o and_o immediate_o after_o one_o or_o more_o order_n shall_v be_v register_v for_o the_o payment_n of_o two_o hundred_o thousand_o pound_n part_n of_o the_o three_o hundred_o and_o eighty_o thousand_o pound_n above_o mention_v to_o the_o treasurer_n of_o the_o navy_n to_o be_v by_o he_o employ_v for_o the_o pay_v of_o the_o wage_n of_o officer_n mariners_z seaman_n and_o soldier_n as_o be_v above_o mention_v and_o when_o order_n shall_v be_v register_v for_o one_o hundred_o thousand_o pound_n more_o for_o the_o service_n of_o the_o war_n upon_o the_o say_v ten_o month_n then_o and_o immediate_o after_o one_o or_o more_o order_n shall_v be_v register_v for_o the_o sum_n of_o one_o hundred_o thousand_o pound_n more_o in_o further_a part_n of_o the_o three_o hundred_o and_o eighty_o thousand_o pound_n above_o mention_v and_o when_o order_n shall_v be_v register_v for_o one_o hundred_o thousand_o pound_n more_o for_o the_o service_n of_o the_o war_n then_o and_o immediate_o after_o one_o or_o more_o order_n shall_v be_v register_v for_o the_o sum_n of_o eighty_o thousand_o pound_n in_o full_a of_o the_o three_o hundred_o and_o eighty_o thousand_o pound_n above_o mention_v which_o say_v sum_n of_o two_o hundred_o thousand_o pound_n one_o hundred_o thousand_o pound_n and_o eighty_o thousand_o pound_n shall_v be_v pay_v in_o course_n as_o they_o stand_v register_v according_a to_o the_o rule_n and_o direction_n and_o under_o the_o penalty_n upon_o the_o officer_n of_o the_o exchequer_n their_o deputy_n and_o clerk_n prescribe_v and_o contain_v in_o the_o proviso_n of_o this_o act_n for_o register_n and_o pay_v in_o course_n and_o it_o be_v hereby_o further_o enact_v that_o if_o the_o treasurer_n of_o the_o navy_n do_v divert_v or_o employ_v the_o say_v three_o hundred_o and_o eighty_o thousand_o pound_n or_o any_o part_n thereof_o to_o any_o use_n or_o service_n whatsoever_o other_o then_o for_o the_o payment_n of_o the_o salary_n and_o wage_n of_o such_o officer_n seaman_n mariner_n and_o soldier_n as_o shall_v be_v employ_v aboard_o your_o majesty_n navy_n as_o aforesaid_a until_o the_o say_a wage_n and_o salary_n shall_v be_v full_o and_o entire_o pay_v and_o discharge_v that_o then_o and_o in_o such_o case_n he_o shall_v forfeit_v treble_a the_o value_n of_o the_o money_n divert_v or_o employ_v contrary_a to_o the_o intent_n and_o meaning_n hereof_o to_o be_v recover_v in_o any_o of_o his_o majesty_n court_n at_o westminster_n by_o action_n of_o debt_n bill_n plaint_n or_o information_n wherein_o no_o essoin_fw-fr protection_n wager_n of_o law_n aid_v prayer_n privilege_n injunction_n or_o order_n of_o restraint_n shall_v be_v in_o any_o wise_a grant_v or_o allow_v nor_o any_o more_o than_o one_o imparlance_n one_o moiety_n whereof_o to_o be_v to_o such_o person_n as_o shall_v sue_v for_o the_o same_o and_o the_o other_o moiety_n to_o your_o majesty_n your_o heir_n and_o successor_n provide_v always_o and_o be_v it_o enact_v by_o the_o authority_n aforesaid_a that_o whatever_o money_n shall_v be_v want_v or_o fall_v short_a of_o the_o twelve_o hundred_o and_o fifty_o thousand_o pound_n grant_v by_o a_o act_n of_o this_o present_a parliament_n entitle_v a_o act_n for_o grant_v the_o sum_n of_o twelve_o hundred_o and_o fifty_o thousand_o pound_n to_o the_o king_n majesty_n for_o his_o present_n further_o supply_v towards_o the_o pay_n in_o course_n the_o several_a sum_n of_o money_n register_v for_o the_o service_n of_o the_o present_a war_n according_a to_o the_o power_n and_o direction_n of_o the_o say_a act_n shall_v be_v supply_v and_o pay_v out_o of_o the_o first_o money_n grant_v by_o this_o act_n and_o payable_a for_o and_o in_o the_o first_o month_n therein_o mention_v and_o grant_v any_o thing_n in_o this_o act_n to_o the_o contrary_a in_o any_o wise_n notwithstanding_o and_o be_v it_o further_o enact_v by_o the_o authority_n aforesaid_a that_o the_o treasurer_n of_o his_o majesty_n navy_n for_o himself_o his_o deputy_n and_o clerk_n shall_v receive_v and_o retain_v only_o the_o sum_n of_o one_o penny_n in_o the_o pound_n and_o no_o more_o and_o the_o lieutenant_n or_o treasurer_n of_o his_o majesty_n ordnance_n for_o himself_o and_o his_o clerk_n shall_v likewise_o receive_v and_o retain_v only_o one_o penny_n in_o the_o pound_n and_o no_o more_o out_o of_o all_o the_o money_n raise_v borrow_a and_o pay_v unto_o and_o issue_v out_o by_o either_o of_o they_o to_o any_o person_n or_o person_n by_o virtue_n and_o in_o pursuance_n of_o this_o act_n to_o be_v allow_v in_o their_o respective_a account_n thereof_o provide_v always_o and_o be_v it_o enact_v by_o the_o authority_n aforesaid_a that_o if_o any_o person_n be_v a_o receiver_n of_o money_n due_a upon_o any_o former_a act_n of_o this_o present_a
parliament_n not_o have_v account_v for_o all_o the_o money_n by_o he_o receive_v and_o to_o be_v account_v for_o upon_o such_o act_n or_o act_n before_o christmas_n one_o thousand_o six_o hundred_o sixty_o seven_o shall_v be_v appoint_v receiver_n for_o any_o the_o money_n due_a by_o this_o act_n and_o shall_v intermeddle_v therein_o every_o such_o person_n shall_v forfeit_v the_o sum_n of_o five_o hundred_o pound_n to_o be_v recover_v by_o any_o person_n or_o person_n that_o will_v sue_v for_o the_o same_o in_o any_o of_o his_o majesty_n court_n of_o record_n by_o action_n of_o debt_n bill_n plaint_n or_o other_o information_n wherein_o no_o essoin_fw-fr protection_n wager_n of_o law_n aid_v prayer_n privilege_n injunction_n or_o order_n of_o restraint_n shall_v be_v in_o any_o wise_a pray_v grant_v or_o allow_v nor_o any_o more_o than_o one_o imparlance_n and_o be_v it_o enact_v by_o the_o authority_n aforesaid_a that_o where_o any_o money_n shall_v by_o virtue_n of_o this_o act_n be_v assess_v upon_o any_o inhabitant_n or_o place_n be_v within_o any_o castle_n fort_n or_o garrison_n if_o such_o money_n so_o assess_v be_v not_o pay_v within_o twenty_o day_n after_o such_o assessment_n that_o then_o the_o commissioner_n for_o such_o place_n shall_v make_v certificate_n thereof_o unto_o the_o baron_n of_o the_o exchequer_n who_o shall_v cause_v such_o proceed_n to_o be_v have_v for_o the_o recovery_n thereof_o as_o for_o any_o other_o debt_n due_a to_o his_o majesty_n provide_v always_o and_o be_v it_o enact_v by_o the_o authority_n aforesaid_a that_o in_o case_n any_o part_n of_o the_o money_n which_o shall_v be_v raise_v by_o virtue_n of_o this_o act_n or_o any_o other_o act_n or_o act_n of_o this_o present_a parliament_n shall_v be_v assign_v or_o issue_v for_o and_o towards_o the_o victual_v of_o his_o majesty_n navy_n the_o same_o shall_v be_v subject_a to_o no_o charge_n nor_o shall_v any_o manner_n of_o fee_n or_o deduction_n be_v take_v
