covenant_n be_v faith_n repentance_n and_o sincere_a obedience_n but_o alas_o we_o have_v most_o miserable_o go_v astray_o and_o have_v often_o know_o witting_o and_o willing_o break_v all_o these_o part_n of_o that_o holy_a covenant_n as_o to_o our_o faith_n first_o how_o dull_a lifeless_a and_o unactive_a have_v that_o be_v how_o little_o have_v we_o show_v it_o by_o our_o work_n by_o work_n of_o mercy_n piety_n charity_n or_o devotion_n how_o little_o have_v we_o show_v our_o faith_n by_o our_o conformity_n of_o heart_n and_o life_n to_o those_o gospel_n duty_n to_o god_n to_o other_o and_o ourselves_o by_o which_o we_o shall_v have_v show_v it_o st._n ja._n 4.18_o again_o as_o to_o repentance_n how_o unsincere_a have_v that_o be_v how_o have_v we_o return_v soon_o after_o our_o stay_v and_o remember_v how_o odious_a how_o deform_v and_o ugly_a the_o sin_n appear_v then_o to_o thou_o when_o thou_o be_v at_o the_o lord_n table_n and_o then_o it_o be_v that_o it_o appear_v most_o true_o as_o it_o be_v and_o then_o next_o let_v this_o engage_v thou_o to_o recall_v thy_o pious_a purpose_n there_o for_o alas_o these_o be_v not_o to_o abide_v with_o thou_o only_o for_o a_o hour_n or_o a_o day_n or_o a_o week_n but_o to_o the_o end_n of_o our_o day_n and_o how_o hypocritical_o shall_v we_o deal_v with_o our_o god_n shall_v we_o instant_o forget_v that_o we_o have_v renew_v our_o covenant_n and_o our_o purpose_n of_o obedience_n with_o he_o upon_o the_o alarm_n of_o a_o sin_n that_o promise_v much_o and_o show_v fair_a however_o consider_v beforehand_o the_o temptation_n will_v come_v again_o whatever_o thy_o resolution_n now_o be_v and_o do_v thou_o expect_v no_o other_o and_o it_o be_v likely_a thou_o will_v not_o always_o be_v in_o this_o temper_n of_o
