which_o proceed_v from_o the_o meditation_n of_o his_o sin_n and_o infernal_a punishment_n and_z thereby_o work_v a_o stable_a salvation_n and_o also_o peace_n and_o joy_n in_o god_n 2_o corinth_n 7._o indeed_o man_n ought_v to_o bear_v the_o loss_n of_o no_o worldly_a good_n so_o heavy_o as_o his_o own_o sin_n v._o if_o thou_o can_v not_o bear_v thy_o cross_n with_o such_o joy_n as_o be_v it_o fit_a for_o thou_o that_o thou_o may_v come_v to_o life_n by_o that_o way_n the_o divine_a wisdom_n have_v choose_v although_o it_o differ_v from_o thy_o opinion_n and_o desire_n better_a be_v sorrow_n than_o laughter_n say_v solomon_n eccles_n 7._o because_o by_o sorrow_n the_o mind_n of_o the_o offender_n be_v correct_v the_o heart_n of_o a_o wise_a man_n be_v where_o sorrow_n be_v and_o before_o god_n because_o to_o have_v even_o that_o pious_a desire_n or_o be_v willing_a to_o have_v be_v no_o small_a grace_n and_o most_o acceptable_a sacrifice_n to_o god_n because_o so_o much_o as_o we_o wish_v to_o perform_v before_o he_o of_o devotion_n prayer_n praise_n and_o desire_v of_o heavenly_a thing_n even_o so_o much_o it_o be_v before_o god_n for_o he_o require_v nothing_o of_o thou_o but_o that_o his_o grace_n and_o favour_n may_v work_v in_o thou_o neither_o can_v thou_o return_v he_o any_o more_o than_o he_o have_v first_o bestow_v on_o thou_o in_o the_o mean_a time_n desire_v this_o of_o jesus_n christ_n with_o humble_a prayer_n christ_n our_o perfection_n be_v in_o christ_n that_o he_o will_v supply_v thy_o sacrifice_n with_o his_o most_o perfect_a sacrifice_n because_o he_o be_v our_o perfection_n we_o on_o the_o contrary_a all_o of_o they_o be_v lame_a and_o unperfect_a wherefore_o say_v my_o god_n and_o father_n let_v my_o devotion_n be_v acceptable_a unto_o thou_o my_o faith_n my_o prayer_n my_o thanksgiving_n in_o thy_o most_o belove_a son_n and_o those_o not_o for_o their_o own_o worth_n but_o esteem_v they_o for_o the_o merit_n of_o christ_n
