therewith_o the_o lusty_a and_o strong_a man_n be_v weaken_v they_o which_o be_v pleasant_a be_v heavy_a and_o they_o which_o seem_v godly_a be_v make_v wicked_a this_o worldly_a sorrow_n make_v achitophel_n that_o wise_a man_n to_o hang_v himself_o and_o saul_n that_o strong_a man_n to_o kill_v himself_o and_o zimrie_n that_o wicked_a king_n to_o burn_v himself_o for_o the_o lord_n suffer_v many_o to_o fall_v into_o it_o that_o they_o may_v despair_v of_o his_o mercy_n and_o be_v exclude_v from_o his_o kingdom_n oh_o therefore_o whosoever_o will_v show_v any_o care_n of_o his_o own_o soul_n or_o any_o account_n of_o christ_n wound_n let_v he_o meddle_v little_a in_o worldly_a business_n keep_v in_o the_o bound_n of_o thy_o vocation_n and_o range_v not_o into_o much_o deal_n and_o the_o quietness_n of_o thy_o mind_n if_o both_o be_v gravel_v together_o then_o comfort_n thyself_o because_o thou_o live_v and_o so_o thou_o shall_v see_v one_o staff_n to_o beat_v thou_o and_o lord_n hatred_n as_o a_o raven_n do_v for_o a_o bullock_n death_n or_o the_o butcher_n slaughter_n day_n we_o can_v prevail_v by_o complain_v against_o god_n for_o to_o who_o shall_v we_o appeal_v therefore_o if_o we_o will_v prevail_v let_v we_o complain_v of_o ourselves_o that_o he_o may_v be_v justify_v and_o we_o acquit_v let_v we_o take_v heed_n that_o we_o tempt_v not_o god_n in_o our_o that_o they_o think_v they_o may_v be_v bear_v withal_o if_o they_o go_v awry_o in_o adversity_n as_o to_o lie_v to_o swear_v to_o steal_v to_o be_v absent_a willing_o from_o sermon_n because_o they_o be_v poor_a or_o lame_a or_o sick_a or_o light-witted_n but_o they_o be_v far_o deceive_v for_o it_o be_v not_o lawful_a to_o do_v evil_a that_o they_o may_v be_v well_o if_o a_o stubborn_a son_n feel_v his_o father_n rod_n shall_v revile_v he_o he_o will_v punish_v he_o the_o more_o so_o god_n will_v punish_v we_o the_o more_o if_o we_o abuse_v he_o in_o our_o adversity_n job_n be_v more_o their_o life_n into_o death_n if_o it_o please_v he_o and_o most_o bless_a be_v their_o estate_n that_o be_v thus_o advance_v by_o he_o now_o then_o learn_v if_o thou_o have_v taste_v of_o the_o sour_a cup_n of_o sorrow_n to_o fly_v to_o god_n more_o speedy_o and_o to_o entreat_v he_o more_o earnest_o he_o hide_v himself_o that_o we_o shall_v seek_v he_o he_o run_v from_o we_o that_o we_o shall_v run_v after_o he_o he_o cast_v we_o off_o that_o we_o shall_v make_v account_n of_o he_o he_o it_o be_v that_o bring_v we_o into_o danger_n that_o we_o may_v know_v he_o will_v deliver_v we_o out_o of_o danger_n we_o be_v teach_v by_o experience_n we_o be_v reclaim_v by_o correction_n we_o be_v purge_v by_o his_o rod_n and_o he_o take_v from_o we_o our_o delight_n that_o we_o may_v come_v to_o he_o for_o delight_n let_v we_o therefore_o go_v out_o of_o ourselves_o much_o more_o out_o of_o our_o house_n to_o seek_v his_o presence_n which_o be_v every_o where_o his_o benefit_n which_o be_v general_a and_o our_o own_o happiness_n in_o the_o valley_n of_o tear_n never_o give_v over_o till_o we_o have_v find_v he_o who_o our_o soul_n love_v for_o he_o be_v gracious_a now_o we_o be_v come_v to_o the_o reason_n which_o the_o prophet_n use_v to_o persuade_v he_o to_o repentance_n which_o be_v set_v down_o in_o this_o verse_n and_o in_o the_o next_o in_o this_o verse_n take_v from_o the_o adjunct_n or_o property_n of_o god_n in_o the_o next_o they_o be_v take_v from_o his_o effect_n or_o work_n his_o property_n be_v describe_v to_o be_v these_o four_o gracious_a merciful_a long_o suffer_v and_o repent_v he_o of_o the_o evil_a whereof_o every_o one_o have_v a_o singular_a weight_n to_o persuade_v man_n to_o repentance_n by_o the_o first_o he_o mean_v plentiful_a in_o gift_n by_o the_o second_o ready_a to_o forgive_v sinner_n by_o the_o third_o wait_v for_o their_o conversion_n by_o repentance_n by_o the_o four_o the_o change_n of_o his_o judgement_n threaten_v so_o that_o the_o prophet_n may_v thus_o reason_v with_o they_o repent_v o_o you_o man_n of_o judea_n for_o the_o lord_n have_v many_o blessing_n in_o store_n do_v not_o loose_v they_o he_o be_v most_o ready_a to_o pardon_v you_o do_v not_o refuse_v it_o for_o he_o have_v and_o do_v tarry_v long_o for_o your_o amendment_n abuse_v not_o his_o patience_n and_o it_o may_v be_v if_o you_o will_v repent_v these_o lamentable_a misery_n shall_v be_v all_o revoke_v again_o can_v you_o not_o repent_v the_o lord_n be_v gracious_a he_o will_v help_v you_o with_o his_o spirit_n be_v you_o afraid_a 38_o 40_o repentance_n be_v a_o thing_n so_o needful_a as_o without_o it_o none_o can_v be_v save_v the_o lord_n have_v make_v as_o many_o preacher_n thereof_o as_o he_o and_o all_o his_o creature_n be_v if_o repentance_n we_o look_v up_o to_o he_o we_o see_v his_o grace_n that_o put_v we_o in_o mind_n of_o repentance_n if_o we_o look_v to_o his_o creature_n &_o mark_v for_o who_o they_o be_v make_v that_o be_v for_o we_o than_o they_o overcome_v we_o if_o how_o they_o be_v make_v by_o the_o unspeakable_a power_n of_o god_n than_o they_o dismay_v we_o if_o we_o consider_v their_o estate_n sometime_o see_v and_o sometime_o not_o see_v sometime_o pleasant_a and_o sometime_o not_o pleasant_a sometime_o glorious_a and_o anon_o trouble_v all_o this_o will_v teach_v we_o to_o be_v trouble_v for_o sin_n thou_o change_v thy_o garment_n then_o change_v thy_o life_n thou_o see_v the_o earth_n
6._o 6._o and_o therefore_o so_o ought_v we_o to_o be_v sacrifice_n win_v he_o therefore_o let_v mercy_n overcome_v we_o even_o those_o mercy_n which_o we_o read_v in_o his_o word_n and_o note_n in_o
