reformation_n at_o any_o time_n or_o of_o discharge_a themselves_o of_o their_o whore_n and_o though_o they_o be_v guilty_a in_o their_o own_o conscience_n of_o this_o their_o vicious_a and_o abomynable_a lyve_a yet_o they_o go_v to_o their_o mass_n sacrifice_v every_o day_n and_o do_v also_o resort_v and_o presume_v unto_o the_o lord_n table_n as_o they_o do_v take_v it_o to_o be_v they_o eat_v the_o lord_n bread_n unworthe_o and_o drink_v unworthe_o of_o the_o lord_n cup._n oh_o lord_n how_o dangerfull_a and_o horrible_a be_v it_o to_o live_v in_o that_o state_n wherein_o if_o death_n shall_v prevent_v a_o man_n he_o be_v utter_o condemn_v and_o cast_v away_o both_o body_n and_o soul_n those_o than_o that_o after_o this_o manner_n keep_v whore_n all_o the_o day_n of_o their_o life_n and_o do_v in_o the_o same_o thing_n obstinate_o continue_v nor_o purpose_n at_o any_o time_n to_o dismis_o their_o strumpet_n nor_o true_o do_v repent_v and_o cry_v god_n mercy_n with_o what_o good_a sir_n do_v they_o not_o cry_v god_n mercy_n oftentimes_o and_o beseech_v he_o to_o have_v mercy_n upon_o they_o do_v they_o not_o daily_o say_v in_o their_o evensong_n convert_v we_o lord_n and_o turn_v thy_o anger_n from_o we_o also_o in_o the_o late_a end_n of_o their_o matine_n lord_n have_v mercy_n upon_o us._n i_o see_v far_o they_o pray_v in_o many_o other_o place_n that_o it_o will_v please_v god_n to_o have_v mercy_n spare_v and_o forgyve_v they_o i_o here_o your_o reason_n very_o well_o nor_o i_o intend_v not_o to_o axe_n you_o the_o question_n or_o reason_n with_o you_o in_o this_o place_n how_o they_o pray_v or_o with_o what_o intent_n of_o mind_n or_o what_o zele_n or_o what_o feruentnes_n of_o spirit_n but_o admit_v that_o they_o pray_v with_o a_o ardent_a teach_v in_o scripture_n of_o the_o last_o judgement_n or_o else_o fond_o flatter_v they_o seve_v with_o this_o hope_n of_o the_o mercy_n of_o god_n oh_o ill_a favour_a and_o horrible_a face_n of_o that_o the_o popish_a church_n such_o as_o shall_v rule_v teach_v and_o instruct_v other_o not_o so_o much_o by_o their_o learning_n as_o example_n in_o lyve_v become_v so_o dissolute_a that_o in_o think_v that_o they_o can_v conceyve_v no_o hope_n of_o the_o mercy_n of_o god_n because_o s._n paul_n affirm_v unto_o the_o hebrew_n that_o god_n will_v judge_v whorkeper_n &_o adulterer_n and_o do_v sinner_n but_o to_o repent_v they_o of_o their_o former_a life_n and_o not_o to_o sin_v more_o free_o &_o more_o at_o liberty_n as_o god_n be_v merciful_a so_o do_v he_o merciful_o forgyve_v but_o the_o repentaunt_a &_o not_o the_o obstinate_a in_o sin_n christ_n bear_v our_o sin_n on_o his_o own_o body_n to_o the_o cross_n as_o peter_n say_v i_o do_v not_o deny_v but_o what_o follow_v that_o from_o they_o neither_o make_v nor_o meddle_v with_o they_o regard_v and_o esteem_v if_o thou_o be_v wise_a more_o thy_o saluacyon_n than_o the_o short_a delectation_n that_o here_o thou_o may_v which_o he_o lack_v also_o that_o sin_v against_o his_o own_o conscience_n or_o commyt_v any_o deadly_a sin_v wherefore_o let_v we_o not_o be_v name_v christian_n when_o we_o be_v far_o of_o &_o much_o differ_v from_o the_o thing_n itself_o nor_o yet_o let_v we_o boast_v and_o set_v forth_o our_o faith_n in_o word_n but_o let_v we_o in_o dead_a and_o unfeyned_o repent_v and_o with_o all_o our_o herte_n be_v convert_v unto_o the_o lord_n god_n let_v we_o labour_n to_o a_o mend_v that_o thing_n which_o be_v amiss_o and_o by_o do_v well_o and_o as_o we_o shall_v and_z be_v bind_v to_o do_v recompense_n such_o offence_n as_o we_o have_v already_o commit_v and_o by_o thus_o do_v remove_n out_o of_o god_n sight_n the_o remembrance_n of_o our_o former_a mysdoynge_n let_v we_o refer_v upryght_o holy_a chaste_a sober_a and_o temperate_a in_o all_o manner_n of_o thing_n let_v we_o profit_n the_o congregation_n and_o help_v the_o poor_a membre_n thereof_o and_o to_o be_v short_a let_v we_o as_o paul_n exort_v we_o live_v worthy_o and_o as_o it_o become_v such_o as_o do_v profess_v the_o gospel_n of_o chryst_n have_v yet_o for_o all_o this_o our_o cheaf_a &_o special_a trust_n in_o the_o goodness_n and_o mercy_n of_o god_n &_o none_o at_o all_o in_o ourselves_o let_v we_o pray_v also_o with_o out_o cease_v unto_o the_o father_n by_o our_o lord_n and_o savyoure_n jesus_n chryste_n that_o he_o will_v vouchsafe_v to_o send_v his_o holy_a spirit_n among_o we_o for_o to_o
