sincere_a and_o always_o to_o a_o sufficient_a repentance_n of_o they_o it_o be_v necessary_a moreover_o in_o itself_o as_o a_o instance_n of_o strict_a justice_n a_o account_n of_o particular_a injury_n how_o to_o be_v repair_v where_o the_o injure_a person_n can_v and_o how_o where_o they_o can_v receive_v it_o restitution_n necessary_a whether_o our_o brethren_n know_v themselves_o to_o be_v injure_v by_o we_o or_o no._n it_o be_v due_a only_a upon_o sin_n of_o injustice_n of_o the_o perfect_a right_n which_o we_o have_v to_o thing_n of_o strict_a justice_n and_o of_o the_o imperfect_a right_n which_o we_o have_v to_o thing_n of_o charity_n whence_o the_o performance_n of_o they_o be_v sometime_o call_v righteousness_n in_o sin_n of_o injustice_n reparation_n due_a so_o far_o only_o as_o we_o can_v and_o according_a as_o we_o have_v opportunity_n to_o make_v it_o in_o judge_v of_o a_o just_a opportunity_n caution_n give_v that_o we_o be_v neither_o too_o strict_a so_o as_o more_o than_o needs_o to_o prejudice_v ourselves_o nor_o too_o loose_a so_o as_o to_o overcharge_v our_o neighbour_n this_o discourse_n of_o reparation_n upon_o injury_n sum_v up_o from_o what_o have_v be_v discourse_v concern_v the_o remedy_n of_o wilful_a sin_n in_o the_o forego_n chapter_n it_o plain_o appear_v that_o they_o be_v not_o hopeless_a but_o that_o at_o what_o time_n soever_o any_o of_o they_o have_v be_v commit_v by_o a_o christian_a man_n whether_o before_o baptism_n or_o after_o it_o they_o be_v still_o pardonable_a upon_o his_o particular_a repentance_n of_o they_o this_o repentance_n as_o have_v be_v show_v imply_v amendment_n so_o that_o we_o never_o shall_v be_v judge_v to_o have_v repent_v of_o they_o till_o we_o have_v forsake_v they_o and_o be_v reform_v from_o they_o amendment_n then_o be_v necessary_a to_o our_o repentance_n and_o to_o the_o pardon_n of_o all_o voluntary_a offence_n whatsoever_o and_o to_o the_o pardon_n of_o some_o viz._n sin_n viz._n so_o far_o as_o it_o be_v a_o act_n of_o disobedience_n to_o he_o and_o account_v we_o due_o penitent_a upon_o our_o amendment_n and_o reformation_n yet_o will_v he_o not_o judge_v so_o favourable_o or_o so_o easy_o pass_v over_o the_o hurt_n which_o be_v thereby_o do_v to_o other_o man_n and_o since_o in_o several_a sin_n there_o be_v not_o only_o a_o offence_n to_o god_n but_o withal_o a_o affront_n or_o injury_n to_o our_o brethren_n what_o ever_o god_n may_v do_v in_o some_o it_o be_v plain_a that_o he_o will_v not_o pardon_v other_o or_o look_v upon_o we_o to_o have_v sufficient_o repent_v of_o they_o upon_o a_o bare_a forsake_v of_o the_o fault_n without_o our_o seek_v also_o to_o be_v reconcile_v to_o the_o offend_a person_n and_o make_v of_o due_a reparation_n and_o this_o be_v a_o thing_n which_o occasion_n much_o doubt_n and_o scruple_n in_o many_o honest_a mind_n i_o will_v here_o endeavour_v to_o give_v a_o plain_a state_n of_o the_o duty_n of_o reconciliation_n upon_o offence_n and_o of_o restitution_n upon_o injury_n against_o our_o neighbour_n that_o so_o we_o may_v have_v no_o needless_a fear_n upon_o this_o account_n or_o know_v how_o to_o put_v a_o end_n to_o they_o when_o we_o have_v just_a occasion_n for_o they_o in_o sin_n there_o be_v three_o thing_n considerable_a according_a as_o it_o may_v concern_v either_o god_n or_o man_n or_o both_o viz._n the_o offence_n against_o god_n and_o the_o offence_n and_o injury_n which_o it_o may_v include_v against_o man_n first_o as_o for_o the_o offence_n against_o god_n as_o it_o be_v a_o breach_n of_o his_o law_n and_o a_o go_v cross_a to_o his_o pleasure_n it_o be_v atone_v by_o reformation_n and_o amendment_n till_o we_o be_v reclaim_v indeed_o from_o our_o former_a sin_n and_o be_v become_v god_n dutiful_a son_n and_o faithful_a servant_n for_o the_o present_a and_o for_o the_o future_a it_o be_v not_o consistent_a with_o the_o honour_n of_o his_o goodness_n and_o
