right_v and_o this_o god_n justice_n call_v for_o and_o thus_o stand_v the_o term_n between_o god_n and_o man_n man_n have_v wrong_v god_n and_o god_n and_o he_o be_v now_o at_o variance_n and_o god_n stand_v upon_o it_o and_o be_v resolve_v with_o himself_o thus_o though_o i_o be_v willing_a to_o be_v at_o peace_n with_o they_o yet_o i_o will_v be_v at_o peace_n with_o they_o so_o as_o i_o will_v have_v the_o wrong_n that_o be_v do_v make_v up_o my_o justice_n shall_v be_v full_o and_o complete_o satisfy_v i_o must_v be_v right_v for_o i_o be_o god_n and_o there_o shall_v not_o be_v such_o a_o flaw_n remain_v in_o my_o justice_n to_o eternity_n as_o that_o such_o and_o such_o creature_n shall_v sin_v against_o i_o and_o i_o pass_v it_o by_o without_o have_v any_o satisfaction_n for_o say_v god_n this_o will_v be_v a_o flaw_n in_o my_o justice_n for_o ever_o and_o that_o i_o will_v not_o have_v and_o therefore_o i_o will_v be_v right_v in_o that_o wrong_n that_o be_v do_v i_o by_o the_o fall_n of_o man._n it_o be_v true_a when_o one_o man_n come_v to_o treat_v about_o peace_n and_o reconciliation_n with_o another_o it_o be_v sometime_o necessary_a for_o he_o to_o pass_v by_o a_o offence_n without_o any_o satisfaction_n at_o all_o especial_o when_o that_o poor_a creature_n that_o have_v offend_v be_v not_o able_a to_o make_v satisfaction_n but_o it_o be_v not_o so_o between_o god_n and_o man_n though_o one_o man_n be_v at_o variance_n with_o another_o when_o he_o see_v that_o he_o that_o have_v do_v he_o the_o wrong_n can_v make_v satisfaction_n he_o than_o be_v indeed_o to_o pass_v it_o by_o but_o god_n mercy_n do_v never_o work_v after_o that_o manner_n though_o the_o mercy_n in_o a_o man_n may_v work_v he_o to_o such_o a_o reconciliation_n and_o though_o god_n be_v a_o god_n of_o infinite_a mercy_n infinite_o more_o merciful_a than_o any_o creature_n can_v be_v yet_o the_o way_n of_o the_o work_n of_o god_n mercy_n be_v a_o different_a way_n from_o the_o work_n unsearchable_a rich_a grace_n of_o god_n in_o christ_n though_o at_o the_o very_a read_n we_o may_v wonder_v that_o ever_o god_n shall_v do_v so_o and_o perhaps_o some_o man_n may_v think_v these_o be_v but_o the_o strain_n of_o minister_n to_o make_v it_o so_o but_o when_o we_o come_v to_o understand_v the_o bottom_n the_o ground_n of_o all_o than_o we_o must_v acknowledge_v the_o reality_n of_o it_o no_o wonder_n god_n show_v mercy_n to_o such_o soul_n so_o unworthy_a and_o so_o vild_a why_o because_o the_o blood_n of_o his_o son_n cry_v for_o mercy_n chap._n 55._o christ_n willingness_n to_o be_v reconcile_v to_o sinner_n further_o open_v now_o before_o we_o come_v to_o answer_v the_o objection_n or_o to_o any_o application_n there_o be_v yet_o something_o more_o to_o heart_n of_o christ_n be_v in_o it_o that_o appear_v in_o the_o understanding_n of_o the_o great_a work_n of_o reconciliation_n that_o he_o have_v undertake_v it_o and_o that_o so_o willing_o as_o he_o have_v do_v certain_o if_o christ_n have_v not_o be_v much_o set_v upon_o this_o work_n to_o bring_v sinner_n to_o be_v reconcile_v unto_o the_o father_n he_o will_v never_o have_v undertake_v we_o but_o he_o account_v it_o his_o glory_n so_o to_o do_v it_o be_v a_o great_a part_n of_o the_o glory_n of_o god_n that_o he_o be_v willing_a to_o yield_v to_o we_o and_o to_o send_v to_o we_o thought_n of_o peace_n and_o love_n and_o mercy_n to_o we_o sure_o when_o we_o be_v reconcile_v when_o we_o have_v heart_n in_o some_o measure_n to_o love_v this_o god_n and_o to_o serve_v and_o fear_v he_o he_o will_v not_o cast_v we_o off_o certain_o no_o it_o be_v better_a with_o we_o now_o than_o before_o when_o we_o be_v enemy_n unto_o he_o and_o desperate_a enemy_n it_o have_v be_v then_o no_o wonder_n if_o god_n have_v cast_v we_o off_o and_o send_v we_o to_o our_o own_o place_n to_o lie_v for_o ever_o under_o the_o infinite_a burden_n of_o his_o wrath_n but_o the_o lord_n have_v then_o thought_n of_o peace_n towards_o we_o it_o be_v therefore_o now_o far_o otherwise_o with_o we_o though_o it_o be_v true_a we_o have_v many_o corruption_n in_o we_o but_o we_o can_v appeal_v unto_o god_n that_o our_o soul_n love_v he_o and_o that_o the_o desire_n of_o our_o heart_n be_v to_o fear_v and_o serve_v he_o we_o can_v in_o some_o measure_n be_v able_a to_o say_v lord_n thou_o that_o know_v all_o thing_n know_v that_o there_o be_v nothing_o in_o the_o world_n our_o soul_n desire_v more_o than_o to_o overcome_v these_o corruption_n there_o be_v no_o burden_n in_o all_o the_o world_n like_v unto_o the_o burden_n of_o sin_n there_o be_v nothing_o so_o grievous_a to_o we_o as_o this_o that_o we_o have_v such_o vile_a heart_n and_o nature_n that_o can_v serve_v he_o no_o better_o than_o we_o do_v and_o if_o god_n shall_v ask_v we_o what_o we_o will_v have_v from_o he_o we_o can_v say_v in_o the_o sincerity_n of_o our_o soul_n lord_n thou_o know_v we_o will_v not_o ask_v riches_n or_o honour_n to_o be_v king_n and_o prince_n in_o the_o world_n but_o oh_o that_o we_o may_v be_v deliver_v from_o the_o remayner_n of_o the_o corruption_n that_o be_v in_o our_o heart_n from_o such_o and_o such_o distemper_n of_o our_o soul_n whereby_o we_o dishonour_v thy_o name_n continual_o certain_o if_o the_o heart_n of_o man_n be_v in_o this_o disposition_n they_o may_v gather_v a_o comfortable_a argument_n to_o themselves_o and_o conclude_v thus_o there_o be_v a_o time_n that_o i_o go_v on_o as_o a_o dsperate_a enemy_n unto_o god_n and_o i_o live_v without_o god_n in_o the_o world_n and_o never_o mind_v the_o power_n and_o the_o majesty_n and_o the_o dominion_n of_o god_n over_o i_o but_o as_o if_o i_o be_v bear_v to_o nothing_o else_o but_o to_o sin_n against_o god_n i_o follow_v my_o own_o lust_n with_o all_o manner_n of_o greediness_n but_o behold_v then_o even_o at_o that_o time_n the_o lord_n have_v thought_n of_o mercy_n towards_o i_o and_o he_o take_v i_o perhaps_o when_o i_o come_v to_o the_o hear_n of_o the_o word_n with_o a_o purpose_n to_o contemn_v and_o despise_v it_o and_o to_o ieer_v at_o it_o yet_o at_o that_o very_a time_n reconcile_n myself_o unto_o from_o all_o eternity_n then_o may_v a_o sinner_n say_v sure_o if_o there_o be_v but_o some_o god_n never_o intend_v i_o that_o have_v be_v so_o wicked_a a_o wretch_n so_o notorious_a a_o sinner_n but_o therefore_o god_n will_v not_o express_v it_o so_o but_o in_o the_o most_o general_a term_n to_o the_o end_n that_o there_o shall_v not_o be_v any_o one_o sinner_n in_o excellent_a of_o al._n sometime_o by_o a_o kingdom_n for_o the_o kingdom_n of_o heaven_n be_v at_o hand_n there_o be_v the_o argument_n the_o kingdom_n of_o god_n be_v at_o hand_n and_o sometime_o by_o a_o marriage_n when_o god_n send_v to_o people_n to_o be_v reconcile_v he_o send_v to_o they_o with_o this_o argument_n that_o it_o be_v to_o marry_v they_o to_o his_o son_n and_o sometime_o by_o a_o supper_n that_o god_n the_o father_n invite_v too_o a_o supper_n wherein_o there_o be_v all_o kind_n of_o dainty_n the_o great_a king_n make_v a_o supper_n at_o the_o marriage_n of_o his_o son_n and_o there_o be_v powerful_a argument_n that_o god_n use_v o_o but_o i_o be_o unworthy_a say_v a_o poor_a soul_n what_o that_o such_o a_o one_o as_o i_o so_o vile_a so_o wretched_a and_o every_o way_n unworthy_a shall_v have_v such_o thing_n this_o be_v the_o policy_n of_o the_o devil_n at_o the_o first_o the_o devil_n labour_v to_o make_v sinner_n to_o slight_v the_o gospel_n to_o set_v at_o naught_o the_o counsel_n of_o god_n so_o you_o have_v it_o in_o prov._n 1._o to_o account_v the_o blood_n of_o the_o covenant_n a_o common_a thing_n that_o be_v the_o first_o way_n but_o if_o he_o can_v prevail_v that_o way_n but_o the_o lord_n do_v shine_v through_o all_o mist_n and_o ill_a conceit_n of_o the_o gospel_n and_o show_v unto_o the_o soul_n the_o excellency_n and_o beauty_n of_o his_o son_n and_o of_o the_o glorious_a thing_n that_o be_v in_o the_o gospel_n then_o the_o devil_n come_v the_o other_o way_n indeed_o say_v he_o there_o be_v glorious_a thing_n but_o thou_o be_v unworthy_a thou_o be_v a_o wretched_a base_a vile_a creature_n and_o can_v thou_o think_v that_o god_n shall_v grant_v such_o thing_n as_o these_o to_o thou_o now_o the_o lord_n answer_v this_o upon_o you_o my_o burden_n etc._n etc._n it_o seem_v than_o we_o must_v be_v yoke_v and_o burden_a but_o mark_v what_o follow_v in_o vers_fw-la 30._o for_o my_o yoke_n be_v easy_a and_o my_o burden_n you_o that_o he_o will_v require_v nothing_o of_o you_o but_o that_o which_o shall_v be_v more_o pleasant_a to_o you_o than_o any_o way_n of_o sin_n that_o you_o live_v in_o before_o there_o be_v of_o man_n say_v the_o same_o prov._n 3.17_o her_o way_n be_v way_n of_o pleasantness_n and_o her_o path_n be_v peace_n if_o you_o will_v believe_v the_o spirit_n of_o god_n the_o way_n of_o godliness_n be_v way_n of_o pleasantness_n and_o all_o her_o path_n be_v path_n of_o peace_n what_o shall_v hinder_v you_o then_o it_o be_v neither_o your_o unworthiness_n that_o can_v be_v any_o hindrance_n nor_o the_o hardship_n of_o the_o way_n these_o be_v the_o two_o great_a block_n that_o lie_v in_o the_o way_n and_o god_n do_v full_o take_v away_o these_o in_o scripture_n and_o if_o messenger_n to_o such_o a_o one_o to_o offer_v peace_n and_o he_o think_v beforehand_o oh_o but_o he_o will_v have_v this_o and_o this_o objection_n against_o i_o but_o say_v he_o to_o his_o servant_n that_o be_v employ_v in_o the_o business_n you_o shall_v answer_v this_o objection_n thus_o and_o the_o other_o objection_n thus_o chap._n 73._o the_o thirteen_o argument_n manifest_v the_o exceed_a be_v capable_a of_o you_o be_v entreat_v not_o to_o be_v miserable_a but_o to_o be_v happy_a and_o not_o only_o that_o you_o shall_v serve_v god_n and_o not_o sin_n against_o god_n and_o do_v the_o work_n that_o god_n require_v of_o you_o for_o his_o glory_n but_o you_o
be_v entreat_v to_o be_v reconcile_v to_o deliver_v your_o soul_n from_o that_o depth_n of_o misery_n and_o to_o be_v bring_v unto_o happiness_n and_o glory_n second_o consider_v who_o you_o be_v that_o be_v entreat_v be_v there_o any_o great_a worth_n in_o you_o then_o you_o may_v expect_v to_o be_v entreat_v as_o man_n that_o be_v of_o great_a estate_n they_o must_v be_v entreat_v but_o may_v have_v his_o glory_n out_o of_o your_o eternal_a ruin_n but_o to_o that_o end_n that_o he_o may_v break_v your_o heart_n therefore_o he_o do_v entreat_v and_o beseech_v oh_o admire_v at_o the_o god_n for_o mercy_n in_o christ_n but_o when_o god_n do_v not_o only_o offer_v his_o son_n but_o come_v by_o the_o ministry_n of_o his_o word_n and_o by_o the_o work_n of_o his_o spirit_n to_o draw_v your_o heart_n unto_o he_o and_o you_o thou_o do_v stand_v out_o against_o god_n against_o all_o these_o gracious_a begining_n drawing_n and_o melt_a expression_n of_o god_n thou_o do_v stand_v out_o oh_o curse_a stubborn_a hard_a heart_n that_o shall_v stand_v out_o against_o all_o these_o thou_o can_v not_o now_o plead_v oh_o tentation_n be_v strong_a to_o draw_v my_o heart_n from_o god_n to_o the_o mercy_n of_o god_n that_o shall_v be_v the_o subject_n of_o the_o saint_n rejoice_v and_o blessing_n of_o his_o name_n to_o all_o eternity_n that_o mercy_n will_v be_v thy_o great_a misery_n and_o that_o be_v a_o sad_a thing_n for_o any_o sinner_n to_o think_v on_o that_o that_o mercy_n that_o the_o saint_n shall_v be_v eternal_o admire_v and_o blessing_n god_n for_o that_o that_o shall_v rend_v your_o heart_n and_o not_o your_o garment_n for_o the_o lord_n be_v merciful_a that_o be_v not_o only_o a_o break_n of_o the_o heart_n but_o a_o rend_n of_o the_o heart_n when_o the_o grace_n of_o god_n do_v appear_v to_o it_o chap._n 81._o use_v 4._o to_o strengthen_v our_o faith_n if_o god_n be_v reconcile_v when_o we_o be_v enemy_n he_o will_v not_o cast_v we_o off_o for_o every_o infirmity_n objection_n answer_v fourthly_o the_o consideration_n of_o this_o may_v be_v a_o mighty_a strength_n to_o the_o faith_n of_o those_o sinner_n that_o have_v in_o some_o measure_n be_v wrought_v upon_o by_o the_o grace_n of_o god_n thus_o if_o the_o lord_n have_v manifest_v such_o abundance_n of_o strength_n of_o spirit_n in_o seek_v to_o sinner_n to_o be_v reconcile_v then_o certain_o when_o sinner_n be_v reconcile_v the_o heart_n of_o god_n will_v forever_o be_v with_o they_o he_o will_v not_o lose_v the_o fruit_n of_o such_o grace_n as_o this_o if_o once_o he_o have_v bring_v in_o and_o that_o in_o such_o a_o way_n of_o mercy_n christ_n have_v bring_v it_o it_o can_v be_v any_o easy_a thing_n that_o shall_v take_v off_o god_n heart_n from_o thou_o there_o be_v the_o goodness_n of_o god_n towards_o adam_n in_o paradise_n ay_o but_o it_o be_v not_o so_o much_o goodness_n of_o god_n unto_o he_o as_o can_v not_o admit_v of_o any_o breach_n between_o god_n and_o he_o but_o the_o heart_n of_o god_n be_v so_o much_o in_o this_o work_n in_o bring_v sinner_n to_o be_v reconcile_v unto_o he_o as_o it_o be_v impossible_a that_o ever_o there_o shall_v be_v such_o a_o breach_n between_o they_o and_o he_o again_o that_o ever_o they_o shall_v prove_v to_o be_v enemy_n therefore_o let_v this_o strengthen_v thy_o heart_n when_o at_o any_o time_n thou_o begin_v to_o have_v jealous_a thought_n of_o god_n have_v recourse_n to_o thy_o first_o call_v to_o god_n i_o go_v on_o not_o many_o year_n ago_o in_o a_o wretched_a sinful_a way_n but_o god_n come_v to_o i_o and_o show_v i_o my_o evil_a way_n and_o show_v i_o his_o grace_n yea_o when_o i_o stand_v out_o against_o his_o grace_n he_o follow_v i_o and_o will_v not_o let_v i_o be_v at_o quiet_a but_o manifest_v it_o more_o and_o more_o and_o have_v overcome_v my_o heart_n unto_o himself_o how_o can_v i_o think_v that_o god_n that_o have_v do_v so_o before_o that_o now_o he_o shall_v take_v advantage_n upon_o every_o infirmity_n that_o now_o every_o sin_n that_o he_o see_v in_o i_o shall_v make_v such_o breach_n between_o he_o and_o my_o soul_n that_o he_o shall_v cast_v i_o from_o he_o can_v i_o think_v it_o certain_o it_o be_v a_o wrong_n to_o the_o grace_n of_o god_n in_o the_o gospel_n object_n ay_o but_o you_o will_v say_v here_o be_v the_o evil_a that_o upon_o my_o loose_a walk_n i_o can_v think_v that_o ever_o thing_n be_v in_o truth_n that_o i_o be_v true_o convert_v answ_n to_o that_o i_o answer_v but_o these_o two_o thing_n first_o that_o if_o thou_o can_v but_o be_v able_a to_o say_v thus_o in_o the_o presence_n of_o god_n the_o lord_n know_v that_o there_o be_v no_o weapon_n of_o enmity_n in_o my_o heart_n that_o be_v against_o god_n that_o god_n reveal_v unto_o i_o to_o be_v a_o sin_n but_o i_o know_v my_o heart_n be_v against_o it_o i_o can_v appeal_v to_o god_n so_o and_o
there_o be_v no_o duty_n that_o god_n require_v of_o i_o but_o i_o know_v my_o heart_n be_v with_o it_o if_o the_o lord_n will_v but_o reveal_v to_o i_o now_o in_o this_o case_n have_v before_o feel_v the_o work_n of_o god_n draw_v thou_o to_o christ_n and_o if_o thy_o heart_n be_v thus_o keep_v to_o god_n this_o be_v one_o good_a argument_n that_o certain_o god_n and_o thou_o be_v not_o enemy_n second_o if_o thou_o can_v but_o say_v thus_o there_o be_v no_o argument_n that_o be_v so_o prevalent_a with_o i_o to_o make_v i_o not_o sin_n as_o this_o for_o fear_n of_o break_v peace_n between_o god_n and_o i_o this_o be_v the_o thing_n that_o make_v my_o sin_n sting_v my_o soul_n indeed_o because_o by_o that_o i_o come_v to_o lose_v some_o of_o that_o sweeness_n of_o the_o assurance_n of_o my_o peace_n with_o god_n can_v thou_o say_v so_o keep_v thy_o heart_n but_o in_o such_o a_o frame_n though_o thou_o have_v many_o weakness_n that_o thou_o can_v say_v whatsoever_o sin_n the_o lord_n reveal_v to_o i_o yet_o my_o heart_n be_v against_o it_o and_o whatsoever_o duty_n the_o lord_n require_v of_o i_o yet_o i_o know_v my_o heart_n be_v with_o it_o and_o if_o there_o be_v any_o thing_n that_o i_o do_v not_o know_v oh_o that_o i_o know_v it_o more_o and_o more_o and_o there_o be_v nothing_o that_o i_o fear_v sin_n for_o so_o much_o as_o this_o because_o that_o i_o see_v it_o break_v the_o peace_n between_o god_n and_o my_o soul_n be_v it_o so_o with_o thy_o poor_a soul_n i_o pronounce_v in_o the_o name_n of_o god_n peace_n be_v unto_o thou_o though_o thy_o heart_n be_v not_o as_o heart_n in_o glorify_v himself_o in_o thou_o and_o to_o do_v thou_o good_a he_o will_v never_o have_v wrought_v so_o upon_o thy_o heart_n as_o he_o have_v do_v there_o be_v other_o that_o live_v under_o the_o light_n of_o the_o gospel_n but_o the_o lord_n do_v never_o come_v to_o their_o heart_n to_o speak_v to_o they_o as_o inward_o to_o draw_v their_o heart_n and_o that_o by_o his_o own_o spirit_n as_o he_o have_v do_v to_o thou_o the_o lord_n have_v not_o have_v so_o great_a thought_n of_o heart_n to_o glorify_v his_o name_n upon_o they_o in_o the_o day_n of_o his_o grace_n as_o towards_o thou_o in_o the_o work_n of_o his_o grace_n so_o certain_o to_o thou_o the_o lord_n be_v about_o to_o do_v great_a thing_n that_o grace_n of_o his_o that_o have_v be_v so_o strong_a upon_o thou_o as_o it_o have_v be_v it_o will_v carry_v thou_o through_o all_o difficulty_n certain_o the_o grace_n of_o god_n have_v be_v strong_a and_o it_o will_v be_v strong_a and_o therefore_o build_v upon_o it_o if_o thou_o have_v a_o hard_a heart_n do_v not_o say_v thou_o have_v a_o hard_a heart_n and_o therefore_o god_n heart_n be_v not_o towards_o thou_o no_o but_o rather_o say_v thou_o have_v a_o hard_a heart_n and_o therefore_o thou_o will_v look_v towards_o god_n to_o break_v thy_o hard_a heart_n and_o bring_v thy_o freeze_a and_o cold_a heart_n to_o these_o beam_n of_o god_n grace_n and_o stand_v under_o these_o heavenly_a influence_n if_o thou_o be_v sensible_a of_o the_o hardness_n of_o thy_o heart_n and_o then_o to_o sit_v down_o sullen_o and_o heavy_o and_o think_v because_o of_o this_o god_n will_v reject_v thou_o this_o be_v not_o the_o way_n to_o get_v thy_o heart_n soften_v but_o rather_o call_v to_o mind_v what_o the_o grace_n of_o god_n have_v be_v towards_o thou_o and_o how_o the_o heart_n of_o god_n be_v towards_o sinner_n to_o be_v reconcile_v unto_o they_o and_o what_o he_o have_v do_v for_o the_o like_o such_o sinner_n as_o thou_o be_v and_o so_o keep_v thy_o heart_n under_o the_o warm_a beam_n of_o the_o gospel_n and_o thereby_o thou_o will_v gain_v a_o great_a deal_n more_o than_o sit_v down_o in_o a_o sullen_a way_n those_o kind_n of_o herb_n that_o grow_v under_o the_o warm_a sun_n grow_v the_o better_a and_o the_o fruit_n ripen_v better_a than_o those_o that_o grow_v out_o of_o the_o sun_n so_o the_o heart_n that_o can_v keep_v itself_o continual_o in_o the_o sun_n of_o this_o mercy_n and_o goodness_n of_o god_n thus_o express_v himself_o in_o the_o gospel_n willing_a to_o be_v reconcile_v to_o sinner_n this_o heart_n will_v thrive_v more_o abundant_o than_o those_o that_o shall_v lie_v down_o sullen_o and_o discontentedly_n this_o be_v a_o mighty_a encouragement_n for_o all_o sinner_n to_o come_v to_o be_v reconcile_v a_o mighty_a strong_a encouragement_n to_o they_o the_o lord_n invite_v and_o beseech_v in_o the_o gospel_n and_o send_v his_o minister_n to_o do_v it_o and_o require_v they_o that_o they_o shall_v do_v enough_o why_o may_v i_o not_o be_v baptize_v so_o here_o be_v mercy_n enough_o why_o may_v thou_o not_o be_v reconcile_v have_v thou_o such_o thought_n as_o these_o be_v see_v that_o god_n be_v lord_n here_o be_v a_o wretched_a sinner_n come_v in_o to_o be_v reconcile_v to_o thou_o what_o hinder_v now_o when_o both_o shall_v entreat_v suppose_v two_o be_v fall_v out_o one_o with_o the_o other_o but_o now_o when_o both_o side_n be_v wrought_v upon_o and_o one_o he_o profess_v himself_o not_o only_o willing_a but_o earnest_o desirous_a to_o be_v reconcile_v and_o the_o other_o he_o come_v and_o express_v himself_o so_o too_o sure_o both_o these_o will_v agree_v now_o it_o be_v true_a many_o time_n between_o man_n and_o man_n their_o expression_n be_v but_o very_o slight_a and_o there_o be_v not_o that_o at_o the_o bottom_n of_o their_o heart_n that_o they_o express_v with_o their_o mouth_n when_o two_o be_v fall_v out_o and_o one_o come_v to_o they_o and_o say_v why_o will_v you_o not_o be_v at_o peace_n with_o such_o a_o man_n oh_o yes_o say_v he_o i_o be_o willing_a so_o come_v to_o the_o other_o and_o he_o say_v the_o same_o he_o be_v willing_a and_o yet_o their_o heart_n be_v not_o right_a perhaps_o one_o to_o the_o other_o but_o now_o in_o this_o case_n between_o god_n and_o thy_o poor_a soul_n be_v confident_a that_o on_o god_n side_n it_o be_v most_o real_a and_o do_v thou_o but_o make_v it_o out_o that_o thy_o heart_n be_v real_a in_o desire_v after_o peace_n with_o god_n and_o full_o understand_v what_o thou_o do_v when_o thou_o do_v desire_v peace_n with_o god_n so_o that_o thou_o will_v not_o be_v at_o peace_n with_o any_o sin_n and_o desire_v it_o full_o and_o then_o when_o thou_o shall_v get_v it_o than_o thy_o heart_n shall_v be_v praise_v god_n and_o say_v i_o shall_v live_v to_o the_o praise_n of_o god_n for_o ever_o and_o that_o shall_v be_v my_o endeavour_n i_o will_v fain_o have_v at_o but_o will_v god_n be_v at_o peace_n yes_o god_n shall_v get_v as_o much_o as_o thou_o shall_v by_o it_o he_o shall_v thereby_o get_v that_o that_o he_o do_v especial_o intend_v and_o aim_v at_o in_o make_v the_o world_n the_o great_a design_n person_n so_o that_o if_o we_o do_v not_o obey_v it_o require_v saitsfaction_n of_o we_o now_o in_o the_o covenant_n of_o grace_n there_o be_v a_o high_a consideration_n as_o it_o be_v god_n be_v content_a to_o take_v it_o in_o a_o surety_n he_o will_v be_v content_a for_o our_o part_n if_o there_o be_v uprightness_n if_o there_o be_v but_o endeavour_n if_o there_o be_v but_o willingness_n of_o heart_n though_o he_o see_v that_o we_o do_v provoke_v he_o day_n by_o day_n well_o say_v god_n whereas_o i_o stand_v upon_o perfect_a obedience_n in_o the_o covenant_n of_o work_n now_o say_v god_n i_o will_v he_o satisfy_v with_o the_o will_n for_o the_o deed_n if_o there_o be_v but_o uprightness_n of_o heart_n though_o there_o be_v many_o weakness_n yet_o i_o will_v be_v willing_a and_o content_a with_o that_o now_o do_v not_o a_o man_n show_v himself_o willing_a to_o be_v reconcile_v unto_o another_o when_o he_o shall_v say_v well_o let_v there_o be_v any_o term_n propound_v that_o can_v be_v i_o will_v yield_v to_o any_o term_n so_o far_o as_o i_o can_v with_o honour_n i_o must_v not_o dishonour_v myself_o but_o so_o far_o as_o can_v be_v i_o yield_v god_n have_v do_v thus_o he_o profess_v to_o the_o world_n that_o so_o far_o as_o he_o can_v he_o have_v yield_v to_o we_o now_o if_o we_o shall_v not_o except_v of_o the_o term_n that_o he_o require_v for_o they_o be_v such_o term_n so_o reasonoble_a so_o equal_a that_o can_v be_v imagine_v less_o there_o can_v be_v less_o require_v of_o the_o creature_n then_o be_v by_o the_o creator_n object_n you_o say_v believe_a be_v a_o great_a matter_n but_o consider_v it_o in_o its_o self_n it_o be_v not_o such_o a_o great_a matter_n but_o only_o in_o relation_n unto_o christ_n in_o its_o own_o nature_n it_o be_v but_o as_o a_o poor_a beggar_n that_o put_v forth_o his_o hand_n to_o take_v the_o alm_n and_o it_o be_v god_n that_o give_v it_o to_o we_o two_o now_o if_o we_o do_v any_o thing_n what_o can_v we_o do_v less_o than_o receive_v especial_o when_o we_o have_v a_o hand_n give_v we_o by_o god_n wherewith_o to_o receive_v as_o if_o a_o beggar_n have_v a_o alm_n promise_v he_o if_o he_o will_v come_v sin_n that_o ever_o thou_o have_v commit_v except_o that_o one_o against_o the_o holy_a spirit_n no_o other_o sin_n shall_v bar_v or_o hinder_v the_o work_n of_o thy_o reconciliation_n and_o certain_o where_o that_o sin_n be_v commit_v the_o heart_n will_v never_o desire_v to_o come_v in_o to_o be_v reconcile_v to_o god_n but_o fly_v in_o the_o face_n of_o god_n to_o revenge_v himself_o upon_o god_n but_o if_o thou_o have_v a_o heart_n that_o desire_v to_o come_v in_o to_o god_n that_o be_v a_o infallible_a argument_n that_o thou_o have_v not_o commit_v that_o sin_n i_o may_v give_v you_o a_o great_a many_o scripture_n for_o this_o to_o show_v that_o god_n profess_v that_o there_o be_v not_o any_o sin_n that_o shall_v make_v the_o bar_n in_o the_o way_n between_o he_o and_o thou_o in_o
