as_o forcible_a to_o dissuade_v from_o the_o outward_a evil_n that_o be_v ostentation_n and_o show_v of_o vainglory_n the_o former_a tell_v we_o what_o we_o lose_v if_o we_o take_v not_o heed_n and_o keep_v not_o good_a watch_n over_o our_o heart_n against_o vainglorious_a affection_n and_o that_o be_v god_n reward_n our_o father_n blessing_n a_o heavenly_a reward_n and_o in_o the_o second_o reason_n we_o be_v tell_v what_o we_o shall_v get_v in_o stead_n thereof_o namely_o the_o reward_n of_o hypocrite_n and_o no_o more_o and_o that_o be_v the_o praise_n of_o man_n the_o wind_n of_o man_n mouth_n the_o good_a opinion_n of_o mutable_a mind_n than_o the_o which_o there_o be_v nothing_o more_o vain_a nor_o transitory_a nor_o frivolous_a nor_o ridiculous_a a_o miserable_a reward_n indeed_o a_o punishment_n and_o a_o torment_n to_o a_o godly_a mind_n now_o we_o see_v that_o by_o this_o bargain_n a_o man_n if_o he_o take_v not_o heed_n may_v be_v a_o great_a loser_n and_o by_o take_v heed_n he_o may_v be_v a_o great_a gainer_n again_o we_o see_v that_o the_o vainglorious_a christian_a that_o be_v to_o say_v a_o plain_a hypocrite_n be_v a_o gainer_n by_o his_o hypocrisy_n but_o his_o gain_n be_v nothing_o to_o that_o which_o he_o expect_v and_o nothing_o comparable_a to_o his_o loss_n these_o reason_n be_v use_v by_o our_o saviour_n christ_n in_o most_o high_a wisdom_n as_o proceed_v from_o one_o that_o best_o know_v every_o man_n disease_n and_o every_o one_o humour_n and_o every_o one_o delight_n and_o according_o he_o fit_v both_o his_o medicine_n and_o his_o motive_n now_o see_v as_o all_o man_n be_v much_o move_v with_o hope_n of_o reward_n especial_o when_o for_o a_o small_a matter_n they_o be_v in_o hope_n to_o obtain_v a_o great_a and_o a_o good_a reward_n what_o can_v our_o saviour_n christ_n propound_v of_o great_a force_n to_o move_v man_n to_o embrace_v sincerity_n in_o all_o their_o action_n than_o god_n reward_n which_o be_v the_o great_a and_o the_o best_a and_o because_o hypocrisy_n be_v of_o that_o bewitch_a nature_n and_o besot_v humour_n that_o it_o make_v her_o suitor_n &_o attendant_n believe_v that_o they_o shall_v be_v both_o honour_v here_o among_o man_n and_o glorify_v hereafter_o among_o angel_n in_o heaven_n and_o so_o by_o feed_v they_o with_o a_o vain_a hope_n of_o a_o double_a reward_n for_o their_o double_a deal_n our_o saviour_n christ_n here_o do_v notable_o cool_v their_o courage_n by_o abate_v no_o less_o of_o their_o wage_n than_o heaven_n come_v to_o assure_v they_o that_o whatsoever_o they_o dream_v of_o it_o will_v prove_v but_o a_o dream_n and_o lest_o any_o man_n shall_v think_v that_o it_o be_v otherwise_o and_o god_n will_v be_v better_o to_o they_o then_o so_o as_o all_o hypocrite_n do_v our_o saviour_n christ_n bind_v up_o the_o matter_n with_o a_o earnest_a asseveration_n or_o constant_a affirm_v the_o matter_n and_o say_v not_o i_o fear_v i_o they_o have_v their_o reward_n i_o doubt_v they_o will_v loose_v their_o reward_n in_o heaven_n i_o can_v tell_v but_o i_o stand_v in_o great_a doubt_n of_o the_o matter_n for_o then_o yet_o there_o be_v some_o little_a hope_n leave_v like_o a_o bone_n for_o the_o hypocritie_n to_o pick_v upon_o but_o the_o go_v more_o direct_o to_o the_o point_n then_o so_o say_v very_o and_o out_o of_o all_o question_n build_v upon_o it_o know_v for_o a_o certain_a what_o to_o trust_v unto_o if_o you_o take_v not_o heed_n of_o hypocrisy_n you_o have_v your_o reward_n here_o there_o be_v nothing_o to_o be_v look_v for_o hereafter_o at_o god_n hand_n but_o the_o hypocrite_n portion_n and_o that_o be_v hell_n fire_n with_o the_o devil_n and_o his_o angel_n for_o ever_o for_o when_o man_n have_v reward_v they_o god_n will_v punish_v they_o and_o thus_o you_o see_v the_o force_n of_o christ_n reason_n and_o the_o drift_n of_o his_o word_n wherein_o we_o have_v two_o excellent_a point_n offer_v we_o to_o consider_v of_o first_o the_o reward_n of_o sincerity_n second_o the_o reward_n of_o hypocrisy_n the_o reward_n of_o sincerity_n and_o uprightness_n of_o heart_n very_o be_v great_a for_o the_o psalmist_n say_v 19.11_o that_o in_o keep_v of_o the_o commandment_n of_o god_n there_o be_v great_a reward_n sincerity_n be_v command_v in_o the_o first_o commandment_n of_o the_o first_o table_n and_o more_o large_o in_o other_o place_n of_o scripture_n which_o bid_v we_o to_o serve_v god_n with_o all_o our_o heart_n 103._o and_o with_o all_o our_o soul_n and_o to_o praise_v he_o with_o all_o that_o be_v within_o us._n and_o therefore_o out_o of_o all_o doubt_n there_o be_v a_o great_a reward_n lay_v up_o for_o those_o that_o be_v sincere_a heart_a christian_n and_o upright_o professor_n of_o the_o gospel_n of_o christ._n 3.6_o heart_n and_o holy_a affection_n and_o be_v not_o boldness_n in_o god_n presence_n a_o good_a reward_n what_o have_v make_v the_o prayer_n of_o the_o faithful_a available_a with_o god_n for_o other_o but_o the_o sincerity_n and_o upright_o affection_n of_o they_o that_o have_v crave_v their_o prayer_n and_o be_v not_o these_o sweet_a odour_n that_o be_v the_o prayer_n of_o the_o saint_n a_o good_a reward_n what_o make_v jacob_n to_o be_v honour_v with_o the_o new_a name_n of_o israel_n that_o be_v prevail_a with_o god_n for_o a_o blessing_n but_o that_o his_o wrestle_n be_v not_o in_o show_n of_o one_o heart_n and_o mind_n and_o be_v not_o such_o a_o feast_n a_o good_a reward_n nay_o more_o than_o this_o if_o this_o be_v not_o enough_o whosoever_o will_v earnest_o hegge_z this_o gift_n of_o god_n by_o prayer_n and_o love_o embrace_v and_o keep_v she_o as_o his_o dear_a spouse_n shall_v have_v with_o she_o a_o large_a dowry_n a_o great_a reward_n in_o heaven_n in_o heaven_n say_v
